There are so many things happening at once that I for one am feeling very overwhelmed.
I have been creating images expressing by thoughts about all of these events, but the most important images to remember first and foremost are not this...

or these...

or this

Today it was reported that this clown wanted to abandon the site and "let the Japan National Defense Forces and the US Military assume complete control of the problem." To his credit, Prime Minister Kan apparently told him to stick that idea where the sun don't shine.

Unfortunately, as we now see, highly skilled nuclear technicians are not truly at this point. The damage control tactics that are being used seem primitive even to a laymen such as I. All you need is an unlimited supply of brave workers willing to engage in a "suicide missions" with fire hoses, helicopters and extension cords. Is this the pinnacle of modern technology?
I have heard several so called experts say "all we can do now is pray." Really?
Not being a scientist, I had no idea whether or not the situation truly is spinning out of control. But then I found the following power point presentation. If you think we are talking about a simple reinforced concrete swimming pool with a few fuel rods inside, read this and think again. Consider that this has been subjected to an earthquake, a tsunami, numerous aftershocks and a deadly hydrogen blast. If you look at the pictures there is debris and destruction all over the site. In the spirit of TEPCO understatement, I am slightly concerned...

Today we are finally told that the situation is far worse than was originally let on. And we are once again hearing about 1 in 1000 year "Maestro tsunami event" from people who were clearly warned that such events were possible if not likely.
Crying and bowing to the cameras is not going to solve the situation Komorisan. Those 50 brave workers (figuratively speaking, there are actually more than 50) are behaving selflessly in the tradition samurai warriors. Right now, they are all that stand between Japan and an unthinkable nuclear calamity.
So I am thinking of them and praying for their safety and success...

But I am also praying for all of those suffering victims who have fallen into the MSM shadow as a result of this continuing TEPCO clusterfuck.
I have struggled to find images like these and I thank CD for forwarding them to me this morning. The human toll depicted here is literally beyond words...
