California county fire officials said that the Woolsey Fire - the seventh-most destructive wildfire in state history - which raged for weeks in Los Angeles and Ventura counties in November 2018, was sparked by the utility’s electrical equipment.
These “hurricane-force Diablo winds” will continue into Monday morning, but that doesn’t mean that things will start to get better... another extreme wind event is in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
"The upcoming wind event has the potential to be one of the strongest in the last several years. It’s also likely to be longer than recent wind events, which have lasted about 12 hours or less."
