North Korea Says "Trump Declared War", Threatens To Shoot Down US Jets

Having raged at President Trump's "suicide mission" on Saturday, North Korea's foreign minister Ri Yong Ho called for an impromptu press conference this morning following President Trump's extended travel ban, in which the diplomat said that Trump’s recent tweet that DPRK's leadership would not be around much longer amounted to "a declaration of war" and added that North Korea has "every right to take countermeasures against the United States,  including to shoot down American jets outside the DPRK's airspace" as part of its right to self-defense under the United Nations charter.

“The UN Charter acknowledges member states’ right of self-defense,” Ri said outside a hotel near the UN headquarters on Monday. “As the United States has declared a war, even though its strategic bombers don’t cross our border, we will come to own all rights to respond for self-defense including shooting down its planes at any time."

The whole world should clearly remember it was the U.S. who first declared war on our country,” Ri added as he was leaving the United Nations after a week of General Assembly meetings in New York.

“Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country.”

Referring to Mr. Trump’s assertion that the North Korean leadership may not “be around much longer,” Mr. Ri said that the question of “who would be around much longer will be answered” by North Korea.

As shown in the following clips, Ri did not hold back:

And again:

His key soundbites below:

"The UN Charter acknowledges member states’ right of self-defense. As the United States has declared a war, even though its strategic bombers don’t cross our border, we will come to own all rights to respond for self-defense including shooting down its planes at any time."

"All options are on the table for North Korean response."

"The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country."

On Saturday, Ri delivered a speech at the UN General Assembly in which he stressed that North Korea would inevitably target the US mainland with missiles as Trump called Pyongyang's leader a "rocket man" on a suicide mission.

The threat to shoot down US bombers comes as the Pentagon reported on Saturday that several B-1B bombers flew in the international airspace just off the North Korean eastern coast. Chief Pentagon spokeswoman Dana White said the move was made to showcase US military options available to Donald Trump.

The reaction to this quasi declaration of war was fast and furious:

Stocks are sinking as bonds are bid.

“shoot down American jets outside the DPRK's airspace"  I might be wrong, but it seems to me that would be a move none of them would live to regret… no matter how many Koreans on either side catch it too.

I have time on the Navy version of that Super-Connie. ..the exact same type that was shot down. Connie fliers can deal with three tails at once. By the time I got on them, one needed to pack a lot of duct tape and safety wire to keep it together. It leaked and spewed so much oil, each landing damn well near required an oil fill. In-flight arcs, smoke and fire were no big deal – that what circuit breakers and fire bottles were for. But most of us were young, fearless and stupid. The NorKs claimed that a US spy plane was shot down at "high altitude"… Yeah, 23,000 feet at 180 knots… a lot of skill required to down that thing. http://military.wikia.com/wiki/Lockheed_EC-121_Warning_Star

Engdahl says Kim Jong Un is false opposition.

Engdahl says that Kim Jong Un lived in Switzerland from 1991 until 2000. He attended the Liebefeld Steinhölzli school in Köniz near Bern. The strongest hint that Kim Jong Un is a "Pentagon" puppet and not a communist (Chinese) puppet is that he had China's best friend in Pyongyang, Jang Sung-taek, executed. He also ordered the systematic execution of all other members of Jang's family including children and grandchildren (and others that were considered too close to China).

Other hints are that he is usefully (to the US) provocative and doesn't seem to listen to China.

Engdahl also thinks North Korea is an Pentagon Vassal State, but it seems more likely that Kim Jong Un is indeed a "Pentagon" man but that North Korea is (i.e., will be treated as) an enemy state.

Remember: The first rule for fighting a (real) war is to place your own puppet as the leader of the enemy.

Also, one should not forget that Trump, Obama, Bush and Clinton are all Jews.

Most dictators send their kids to foreign schools. The other millions of people in their country may be forced to go wherever the dictator says, but only the best for his sons.

Except the one that wanted to go to Disneyland. That didn't end well. Unless he manages a successful coup. Then I suppose it ended well.

A lonely voice of reason from Ron Paul:"Here’s how to solve the seven-decade old crisis: pull all US troops out of South Korea; end all military exercises on the North Korean border; encourage direct talks between the North and South and offer to host or observe them with an international delegation including the Russians and Chinese, which are after all Korea’s neighbors."https://www.theburningplatform.com/2017/09/25/how-to-end-the-korea-cris…

“And want to bet if the war start South Korea who makes your phones would be in the crosshairs, so what do you think google, facebook, etc will value without new hardware” They do not need South Korea to keep polluting the Internet. It seems to me that with big picture issues, Trump is not much concerned with various business. In fact, he might not mind Schmidt and Zuckerfckr having it handed to them. Got NFL? But GS might be an exception.

"This nk Shlep Better Outperform Or Else Kim Boys Anti-Aircraft Firing Squad Awaits At Home..."almost all the foreign Western-backed forces in Syria use Anti-Aircraft guns mounted on suspiciously-new Toyotas which they use to execute any Syrians they feel like taking out, man, woman, child, civilian, militia, captured soldier .... they probably hunt camels, sheep and goats with them when they have run out of people to slaughteractually almost all the Western-backed forces anywhere use anti-aircraft guns on people, probably easier to count the ones that don't?

Korea was ruled by Imperial Japan from 1910 until the closing days of World War II. In August 1945, the Soviet Union declared war on Imperial Japan, as a result of an agreement with the United States, and liberated Korea north of the 38th parallel. U.S. forces subsequently moved into the south. By 1948, as a product of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States, Korea was split into two regions, with separate governments. Both claimed to be the legitimate government of all of Korea, and neither accepted the border as permanent. The conflict escalated into open warfare when North Korean forces—supported by the Soviet Union and China—moved into the south on 25 June 1950. On 27 June, the United Nations Security Council authorized the formation and dispatch of UN forces to Korea to repel what was recognized as a North Korean invasion. Twenty-one countries of the United Nations eventually contributed to the UN force, with the United States providing 88% of the UN's military personnel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_War

Born in Chicago, he was the son of Ellis (Abbott) and journalist and humorist Ring Lardner, and the brother of James, John Lardner and David Lardner. He was educated at Phillips Academy, Andover, and Princeton University, where he joined the Socialist Club. In his sophomore year he enrolled at the Anglo-American Institute of the University of Moscow. Lardner returned to New York and, in 1935, briefly worked at the Daily Mirror before signing on as publicity director with David O. Selznick’s new movie company.
