Trump Is Standing By Roy Moore: "We Don't Need A Liberal Democrat In That Seat"

After refusing to discuss allegations that Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore had inappropriate sexual contact with nine women when they were still teenagers, President Donald Trump has for the first time spoken out about the controversy during a impromptu conference with a group of reporters just before he and his family departed Washington for the Thanksgiving holiday.

In a response that outraged at least one reporter who shouted questions about the girls' alleged age at the time after the president finished speaking, Trump suggested that he has taken Moore's denials at face value. And even if the allegations are true, the "Republican party doesn't need a liberal Democrat in that seat" Trump said.

"Well he denies it, Roy Moore totally denies it. And by the way, he gives a total denial. And I have to say, 40 years is a long time. He's run eight races and this has never come up. The women are Trump voters, most of them are Trump voters. So I guess you have to do what you have to do," Trump said.

"I can tell you one thing for sure. We don't need a liberal person in there, a Democrat. I looked at his record he's terrible on crime terrible on borders," Trump added. "We don't need somebody who's soft on crime like Jones."

Brushing aside questions about his own accusers, Trump said he believes the current national conversation about sexual harassment and assault in the workplace is "great for women," and that he's glad they're speaking up.

"Women are very special. I think it's a very special time because a lot of things are coming out."

Trump touched on a range of topics during the conference, including a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He told reporters the two leaders had discussed security issues pertaining to Syria, North Korea and Ukraine.

The president also offered his thoughts on the AT&T-Time Warner merger, which has received nonstop coverage on CNBC today, as expert after expert insinuated that the DOJ's opposition is part of a political vendetta against Time Warner, the owner of CNN.

"I'm not going to get involved in litigation, but I've always thought that deal isn't good for the country. Pricing is going to go up...but I'm not going to get involved," Trump said.

I believe Trump has seen the real polls and now knows Moore is going to win. He also knows that with Moore in the senate the Dems don't have to numbers to impeach. He is biding his time until this is over. Then we will see where Jeff Sessions really stands. They will be able to go after Mueller, et al with gusto.

Gloria Allred and her accuser have numerous problems with her story:1) her step son says she's a liar;2) her ex-boyfriend says she's lying;3) her friend in college who later became a minister says she's lying;4) she came out after being offered money from WaPo while staying silent for 40 years?!;5) she has NOT produced the physical evidence she claims she has; and,6) several of the other facts that have been investigated contradict her story. So, basically everyone who knew her or now knows her says she's a liar.Additionally, she has hired the biggest sleezeball lawyer in America.I won't get into the "body language experts" who on yootoob say they can tell she's lying.Trump is correct in throwing his full support behind the Judge.

Trump Is Standing By Roy Moore: "We Don't Need A Liberal Democrat In That Seat"My response: If Roy Moore can get past this crisis, I guarantee this guy will be a THORN in the SIDE of the establishment. Remember, Roy Moore's past kickboxing career has put real "fire in his belly".  I would love to see him lead the senate retire Mitch. Just one person's humble opinion.

IH8OBAMA:If the Senate refuses to seat Moore, all Hell will break loose. The first to burn will be all the dirty Senators, staring with Franken.Next on the lineup will be the Malicious Seditious Media. If you missed the article about the way Moore's investigators have already destroyed a woman last-named Nelson, I suggest you go get it immediately to see for yourself what is on the horizon for the rest of them. Here is what I wrote to Mitch "The Deep State's Bitch" McConnell today:Your unwarranted "rush to judgment" about Roy Moore is about to make a complete fool of you, and everyone else who was dumb enough to buy the Washington Post lie about him. Please read this article which is only the beginning of the complete, and utter destruction of Jeff Bezos' hate-speech mouthed through his newsroom lapdogs, and the notoriously deceitful Gloria Allred, the misandry equivalent of the racist thug Al Sharpton - and no, you won't see a word about it in the equally deceitful WaPo: Roy Moore Refutes Sexual Assault Claim With Statements By Former Restaurant Employees And Customers… outquotes among the many available:1) Classic psychotic grandstanding by Allred: A now infamous yearbook entry, from December 1977, which Nelson claims is Moore’s has also come under scrutiny, with many pointing out that Moore’s last name, title, date, and location appear to have been added later – constituting a forgery if true.Nelson’s attorney Gloria Allred refused to confirm the authenticity of the yearbook, and she won’t hand it over to handwriting experts unless a US Senate Committee agrees to conduct a hearing first.2) Nelson's step-son steps up: Meanwhile Nelson’s stepson, Darrel Nelson, claims that his stepmother’s accusations are “one hundred percent a lie,” stating “I know for a fact that there is a lot that that woman does not tell the truth on,” Nelson claimed in an in-person interview with Breitbart News.  “Do I think that Beverly is trustworthy? No, I really don’t. Could I see her making it up? …The odds are in that favor.”3) This is only the beginning: According to Ledbetter, Olde Hickory House required employees to be 16 years old. Nelson claims she was 15 when she started.According to two former employees, the dumpsters were on the side of the building. Nelson claimed that they were in the back.Olde Hickory House sat right off of the four-lane highway and had a wrap-around porch with lights all around it. Nelson claimed that the surroundings were “dark and isolated.”Rhonda Ledbetter, who worked at Olde Hickory House for almost 3 years, states that the earliest it closed was at 11 p.m. but she believes it was open until midnight. She is certain it did not close at 10:00 because Goodyear was next door, and employees came to eat when their shift ended at 10 p.m. Nelson claims her story occurred after the restaurant closed at 10 p.m.It is unlikely that there was an entrance from the back of the parking lot, which Nelson claimed existed. Multiple sources have claimed that everyone parked on the sides of the building because there wasn't much room behind the restaurant, according to Rhonda not enough room to turn around. Renee Schivera stated that a neighborhood backed up to the parking lot and it was adjacent to the backyards of people’s houses, so she did not see how there would have been a back entrance as it would have gone through someone’s yard.Nelson claimed that Judge Roy Moore came in almost every night and sat at the counter, but former employees state that customers at the counter were served by the bartender or short order cook – not served by the waitresses and had no reason to interact with the wait staff. Additionally, two former waitresses and two former patrons state they never saw Judge Moore come into the restaurant. 4) Blackout by the MSM: In fact, Dixon Hayes from WRBC in Birmingham asked for former employees to contact him but never responded when I told him I never saw Roy Moore come into Olde Hickory House during the three years I worked for. Two other news outlets in the state asked to interview me and I agreed, but neither one has aired my interview and I have to wonder why they don’t think the people of Alabama deserve to hear anything that counteracts the accusations against Judge Moore. It’s not for me to say whether or not something happened, I can only tell the truth about factual details that I know for sure."5) Take it from a LEO: Johnny Belyeu, Sr. is a former police officer with over two decades of experience with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department and the Gadsden Police Department. He said in a statement, “I was an officer with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department in the 1970s which means I worked in the courthouse and knew who Roy Moore was since he was the Deputy District Attorney at the time. I was a regular customer at Olde Hickory House, and I never once saw Judge Moore come in there. If he had I would have immediately recognized him. I also never met Beverly Nelson during any of the many times I frequented the restaurant, and I can’t say that she even worked there.”6) Another former employee kicks in: "Renee Schivera of Huntsville, Alabama stated, “I was a waitress at the Olde Hickory House during the summer of 1977, before my senior year of high school. When I heard Beverly Nelson’s story the first thing that stuck out to me was that I don’t remember Roy Moore ever coming into the restaurant. I also don’t remember her working there. The other thing that struck me as odd is that from my best recollection, the dumpsters were to the side of the building. I just know they were visible from the road, and not back behind the building. But the main thing is that if someone came in almost every night we knew who there were, and I never saw Roy Moore there. As a Christian woman, I wouldn't lie for anyone and I am only sharing what I know because it’s the truth.”7) A great idea you better pursue before you open your mouth again: what say the accuser file one of these:  and see if she even ever worked at the restaurant.Thank you for your time.(Addendum for ZH: McConnel, E S & D.)

Actually this is brilliant rope-a-dope.    Democrats start coming out in DROVES about how we cannot allow sexual predators to serve in the Senate under any circumstances.    Franken, Schumer and a few other Democrats get ARRESTED after proof and warrants generated against them for sexual misconduct / pedo shit and worse.     Democrats have ZERO defense against calls to resign.   Dems pick up one seat and lose TEN?   Stay tuned.

I hope The Donald will issue an excecutive order to make known all those in congress that had taxpayer funds used to settle their Dick account.  That will light a fire for sure. They will not pass the tax plan regardless. The globalist rhino's can't allow Donald any sucess.

If the allegations prove to be true, Trump should do the right thing as the DNC has demonstrated: crush all those daring to make allegations, foster a climate in which sexual predators can thrive, and in 20+ years when some special election is at stake finally acknowledge the wrongdoing (but still fail to having any kind of actual accounting).

No one with a working brain cares what lies you libtards say anymore. Get a new bag of tricks or shut up already. The sleeze is just stinking too much and a good cleaning is now required for our own health. Nothing personal towards you leftist nut-cakes. A shame you are incapable of understanding this. But at least you can still get your drugs and scream at nothing for relief.

Actually, this is the only case I know in which Trump has demonstrated business acumen: instead of paying underaged girls and models to have sex with him, he bought a model agency, imported young flesh on the cheap from eastern Europe, and had more than his share pussies. I believe the only limit he has set is at 12yo, but anything above is fair game for Trump...#FamilyValues #Trust #MakeXXXGreatAgain

What's truly incredible is that if Moore wins, dirty Mitch says they will expel him. If they do and I were an Alabaman this would be an act of war. It's like Ft. Sumter (I) but in reverse!

We do tend to stand by our sons and grandsons because we are proud of them.  Dem fathers, not so much.  They tend to be absent their women’s households.  Maybe it is a lack of responsibility on their part or maybe it is an issue of paternity. I might be reluctant to step up to the plate if I was but one of a dozen likely suspects.
