Trump Denies "Shithole" Comment: "Never Said Anything Derogatory About Haitians"

After reports that Trump referred to "shithole" African nations in a meeting (that was not denied by The White House), the president has tweeted this morning that "this was not the language used."

he then following up by claiming he "never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country. Never said “take them out.” Made up by Dems. I have a wonderful relationship with Haitians. Probably should record future meetings - unfortunately, no trust!"

His tweet, denying the "shithole" comment follows an earlier series of tweets that slammed the proposed DACA proposal, and sought to explain his thinking about a bipartisan immigration plan that was presented on Thursday which would allow too many people in from "high crime" countries. He said that's one of the key reasons why a bipartisan plan presented on Thursday is a nonstarter.

On Thursday evening, reports broke that Trump had criticized the Gang of Six senators' plan to reinstate TPS programs for El Salvador, Haiti, and some African nations.

"Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?" Trump said in the White House meeting with a group of senators, including Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

Meanwhile, the comment sparked outrage among Democrats who did not hesitate to publicly slam Trump for what many said was a racist comment.

It would appear, unlike all the chattering yesterday, that this 'bipartisan' deal is far from 'done'.

Drudge ran a 2015 Breitbart story they re-titled: FLASHBACK: Ted Kennedy on 1965 bill: 'It will not inundate America with immigrants from... deprived nations of Africa and Asia'
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/03/30/ted-kennedys-real-le…

I suppose Drudge's intention was bring to attention the issue was highlighted 50 years ago too. One could safely assume one such "deprived" Asian nation then was .... Singapore.

If the US had spent the last 50 years enforcing its immigration laws, we probably would not be having this discussion. If all of the country's Asian doctors and nurses were sent back to their countries of origin, a lot of our medical facilities would have to shut down for lack of staffing. The problem is not with Philippino nurses but with illegal unskilled workers from Latin America who take entry level jobs from black Americans and others.

And now government business is going to stall over a 'trumped up' comment, that while probable is not racist but does reflect what many in the community believe or have first hand experience of the state of countries from which people emmigrate and of the current situation of many states in the USA itself.

The members of the Democratic Party seem intent on shutting down government business for political and I may say spiteful reasons without any care or consideration for the American people it directly affects.

What they are are saying is beyond the mere 'shut it down' slogan, and I believe is more accurately expressed as:

SHIT IT DOWN!

If the Democrats can hint at or invent a racist comment or angle then SHIT IT DOWN!

Build 'fake' news stories out of incredulous and fabricated material then SHIT IT DOWN!

When the very word 'shithole' in any form is now 'racist' then SHIT IT DOWN!

Desperately try to impeach the president by fabricating a vexatious 25th Amendment challenge then SHIT IT DOWN!

When your candidate fails to get elected and is under investigation for serious security and financial activity then SHIT IT DOWN!

When your best hope for the future is a running pair of a retired talk show host of little depth and a 'Watered' down Maxine banshee screeching "mmmPeach! mmmPeach!" then SHIT IT DOWN!

As you write your alternative history, corrupt the student body, actively support and encourage violent activism in the community in the name of political correctness, diversity, and nonsense pseudo gender memes then SHIT IT DOWN!

And if this is the alternative to the current government then pity help the American people if the Democrats make it to office any time in the next decade.

The Chicago neighborhood of South Shore used to be a middle to upper middle class white neighborhood. Now it is just another high crime black neighborhood with mostly American born residents. Even if Norwegians were exempted from US immigration quotas, I doubt that they would move to South Shore or any similar neighborhood anywhere in the country. Trump should choose his words more carefully.

I wonder how many affluent Americans would move to other countries if they no longer had to file US income tax returns. Under current law, they end up with the worst of both countries' tax laws (US and the country they are moving to).

Here's the thing, if Trump was an idiot he would say it in public but he didn't.  He knew he was throwing meat to the wolves, to both his base and the press.  Everyone got what they wanted from and now we are in a 'he said - she said' situation that he gets to control.

As much as people go crazy it's finally nice to have someone in office critical of what's going outside the country than in.  Hillary thought half the country was Deplorable.  Obama thought cops were the bad guys.  Even saint Oprah said that old white men have to die to stop racism.

Let's tell the rest of the world to get their shit together instead of having leaders tear the US apart and claim the only way to salvation is by letting all the wonderful people around the world take over for us.
