If you think back real hard to January 2020, before the pandemic was being taken seriously by anyone, one of the points I continued to hammer on my podcast and on Twitter was that we could not trust China.
Here I am eloquently laying out my case in January 2020:
And if the country’s glad-handing of the WHO, cover-up of the virus origins, refusal to work with international investigations and general stubbornness hasn’t convinced you that we would have been right to not trust it, maybe this week’s latest revelation - that China was ordering a ton of PCR tests long before its “first” confirmed Covid case - will jar something loose in your head.
First, a bit of an overture. To this day, people still give me shit about how over-the-top I was in reacting to news of the coronavirus spreading through China. Make no doubt about it, I was one of the first in the U.S. to ring the alarm bells - and I did so loudly.
To me, in early 2020, it was evident that the virus was going to make its way to the United States no matter what we did, and I was worried that the full extent of the virus - including its mortality rate, origins, and method of transmission - were not going to be truthfully communicated to the world from China.
To make a long story short, I thought China was going to try to cover everything up, and that’s what it looks like they are still doing to this day.
At the time, I was mostly nervous that China was lying about how deadly the virus was. When this turned out not to be the case, after we were able to corroborate the severity of the virus from data out of more trustworthy sources like Italy and South Korea, my focus then turned to the number of cases China was reporting and the virus’ origins.
It’s no secret that I concluded many times over that the virus likely had something to do with the Wuhan Institute of Virology and it’s no secret that I was constantly critical about the laughably low number of positive test results China was reporting in what we were led to believe were the “early months” of the pandemic.
In fact, I thought that the numbers were so low that it would be blindingly obvious to everybody that China was lying about them. Instead, our media here in the United States decided to defend China and take their numbers at face value when calculating global Covid cases - a decision that makes them look stupider every day and one that they will undoubtedly not apologize for.
But now, stunning new evidence has emerged that China may have known far more than they have let on...(READ FULL ARTICLE HERE).
