Tyler Durden's picture

Another week, another $100 billion in debt to be added to the US balance sheet. Is it really $100B in new?  Some of this expiring bonds rolling over.  Maybe more like 1/3 new...1/2 new?

Still, it's big.

They should put an expiry date on the bonds. You know, give the illusion of a limited shelf life. Or add something Monsanto cooks up to make the bonds at least edible.

Bonds could feed the world. Buy bonds to feed the hungry. Maybe Elton John could make a song.

There, problem solved. Bonds foheva!

strengthened further today.

Vice versa for the USD index of course.

It seems the current EURUSD downleg has ended.
