$38 Billion In Cuts? Make That $353 Million
Warning: people on blood pressure medication are urged not to read this.
Yesterday the media had a field day when it was uncovered that the hard fought $38 billion in budget "cuts" which almost caused America to shut down were in reality $14 billion. We, thus, can't wait to find out what the response will be when it is uncovered that the actual cuts were... $353 million. Yes: the ongoing functioning of the government was a pawn in a soap opera whose benefit to the US debt is $353 million, or about what Goldman's trading desk makes in less than one day.
From Washington Post:
A new budget estimate released Wednesday says that the spending bill negotiated between President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner would produce less than 1 percent of the $38 billion in claimed savings by the end of this budget year.
The Congressional Budget Office estimate shows that the spending bill due for a House vote Thursday would pare just $352 million from the deficit through Sept. 30. About $8 billion in cuts to domestic programs and foreign aid are offset by nearly equal increases in defense spending.
The House began debate on the measure Wednesday with a test vote slated for the early afternoon. The measure appears on track to pass the House and Senate this week before a stopgap spending measure expires Friday at midnight despite opposition from some of the GOP’s most ardent budget cutters.
The budget deficit is projected at $1.6 trillion this year.
The CBO study confirms that the measure trims $38 billion in new spending authority, but says many of the cuts come in slow-spending accounts like water-and-sewer grants that don’t have an immediate deficit impact.
...
Republicans say they wish the measure would cut more but that the cuts negotiated by Boehner are about as good as can be expected giver that Democrats hold the Senate and the White House. In his February budget, Obama pressed a freeze on domestic agency accounts.
“We continue to push this president to places he never said he would go,” said House GOP Whip Kevin McCarthy of California. “The president said he would freeze spending. Our Speaker negotiated, outnumbered 3-1. We have cut spending.”
Speechless yet? You should be. And for those confused how B.H.O. picked the arbitrary number of $4 trillion in "cuts", John Lohman summarizes it best.
How Washington Cuts $38 Billion in 5 Simple Steps:
1. Announce spending bill that claims $38 billion in cuts
2. Wait for CBO to announce it only cuts $353 million1
3. Realize you only do 0.0093% of what you say2
4. Divide $38 billion by 0.0093% to get necessary target3
5. Round to the nearest trillion and announce result1 : Source: Washington Post, April 13, 2011
2 : $353 million divided by $38 billion
3 : $38 billion divided by 0.0093 = 4.1 trillion

Did You expect something different? ~ They are merely custodians for the 1933 mortgagees in possession (revised every so often).
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, in an analysis this month, estimated that the Libyan no-fly zone could cost $100 million to $300 million per week
Let France deal with this...it's their baby.
They have their carrier there, get more mfin planes on it and do this shit.
Boehner --- That's all you can do because they hold the senate and the WH????? Seriously?? LET THE GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell the American People the Truth!!!!!!!!! It will stop these lefty elitest from robbing us for their organizations......... shut her down and see the savings we have. Watch the dollar get stronger......... Stop with all the PC crap and tell it like it is that the Progressives are ruining this country!!!
Boehner is fucked. He's about as spineless as they come. Pelosi had more "balls" than him.
Pelosi is screwed up in the head...but your absolutely right she had more balls then Boehner, who by the way, is just another hack!
Remember the reports of "tense" negotiations at the WH between Barry, Harry and Boner? Apparently they were one-upping each other on who was more brazen at defrauding the American people.
Our government is like the mafia running a circus.
Only problem is, they're all lefty elitists.
no, they're just elitists. Once you're in the club, directions don't matter
$352 million! lick on my dick and suck on my balls, AMERICA
.
fuck yea
Citizens ----thank God for the Second Amendment.
Haha that warning should be blasted on the bottom of the screen on any MSM show.
Obamy make my Silver go higher! Thanx!
May I please see your proposal in writing? Do you have a prospectus that I can read? Your lips are moving but are you accountable to anyone? Anyone...anyone, Bueler, Beuler?
Our elected officials have zero accountablity to anyone. Can I file a sales practice complaint with the SRO that oversees our elected officials? Where is "shitty deal" Levin when you need him?
A little Chicago Razzle Dazzle, never failed before....

maybe if the illegals got mad enough and held demonstrations (that would be a mass siesta after 3 bean burritos), the gubermint might listen.
The Republicans are no different than the Deomcrats and now the Tea party candidates will have to deal with pissed off voters. It really does not matter what they spend or don't spend....the U.S. will default on its debt so it really does not matter anymore.
Could we just get it fucking over with then? I mean, holy bernanke, I tire of the wait. When can we finally move to capital creation from capital instead of debt. I yearn for that day to come.
I yearn for it too... if doesn't come soon I'm leaving.
Where the bernanke are you going to go? I don't see many options, but Iceland is looking more and more promising every day.
Even the women in Iceland have balls it appears. Told the EU to bite 'em.
And here's Bloomberg's spin:
U.S. Stocks Gain Amid Optimism Economy Can Weather Budget Cuts.LOOOOOOOOOL!
I love these sweeping, generalizing headlines.
Amid whose optimism? Everyone's? How did they arrive at that conclusion? And the editorialization "weather" is a false assumption that budgets cuts inherently hurt an economy.
This country is fucked, folks. Be at peace with that truth and maybe the short amount of easy life we all have left can be somewhat enjoyable.
I agree VCS. I'm sure that we've all seen it before, but since its just so damn true, I figure we give another watch.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYIC0eZYEtI
I'm not really worried about deficits or debt ceilings. Those really don't matter. They will just print more paper. How hard is that?
Meanwhile, I'm finished loading up on my first batch of dividend stocks today.
Next up: Looking at SCCO, it pays almost 6%. I'll wait for it to bottom out and show the signs of a turnaround first.
I'll be fully invested by the time the market is ready to turn back up.
kmp pays a 6.1% right now. But nearly 6 for a copper stock ain't shabby at all
CIM is currently yielding over 14%
You nubs keep on buying your pieces of paper yielding 6% , yup , youre gonna avoid the Black Hole that way. LOL.
Dividends can, and will, be cut very quickly in the next downturn.
The return on silver beat the shit out of that. And there is less risk than with a single stock, and arguably less risk than the whole sector.
Maybe it's time for you to hang up your trader hat when you are getting you ass kicked by morons who bury canned ham and silver in their back yards (like me!)?
Mmmmmmmmmm...... canned ham! Share a little with Johnny Bravo, AKA MasterBates.
He can have it when I'm done with it.
Then he can have it again, after HE'S done with it.
This is a hard step to take. Three years ago I was 100% exposed to markets in two trading accts. Today 90% in physical gold/silver, 10% in trading acct. Fcking hard to make that mental switch, but I think I'll be damn glad I did. In fact, I think it will be the trade of my life.
It is. I used to trade. Made quite a bit of money in paper gold from 01-04, so the transition wasn't nearly as much of a stretch for me as it might have been. Luckily, I already had a gun safe, so I had a place to put it. Having made money in the sector before, and having a ready made place to store it removed two huge psychological barriers.
And yes, it has been, and will continue to be the trade of a lifetime. I like to say it is the trade of the millennium, or possibly the greatest trade in human history, simply because of the clash of seven+ millennia of thought (silver should be less than gold) with the fact of crashing supply due to industrial consumption.
Well done, and couldn't agree more. I'll buy you dinner when the dust settles, you provide the toast.. :)
...
So let us know the day and price of your buys.
I see a lot of vague generalities here.
Why won't congress wake up?
Don't they know that the dollar is about to collapse and the savings of the majority of Americans are going to be wiped off the face of the earth?
Revolt America!
Get the Revolution started so people like me (children of the later baby boomers) have reason to stay and build a future in the nation that once stood for so much more than world-war and financial insturments of destruction.
I may not be on blood-thinners, but after class I am definitley rolling a joint and pouring a screwdriver before I read any more ZH.
Great work today Tyler, as usual!
Revolt America or Revolting America ...
Sometimes I have problems with gerunds ...
Gerunds are nouns. "Revolting" is an adjective here.
"Revolting is great fun!" -- now there's your gerund.
I advocate a peaceful revolution in vain of that Anonymous group.
For instance, standing outside of the FED until the Bernank resigns.
What happened to the on-the-mall protesting? Does it take a charlatan like Glenn Beck to call you there?
Is it because the S&P has doubled, now there is no reason to be concerned over the economy?
WTF!
Umm... yes.
Hi, you must be new to this site.
nope. been reading ZH loyally for almost 1.5 years. My older brother turned me onto it. He has been a faithful ZHer since the blogspot days!
I was kidding. Your original question was such a softball that I assumed it was rhetoric.
Seriously though, [cough] wealth effect.
Or in verb form, wealth effecting. Or past tense, wealth effected. Or as a descriptive, wealth effectish.
I hope it gets added to Webster along with this year's additions: 'OMG', 'LOL' and 'muffin tops'.
It should include a smiley picture of the Bernank. That would awesome.
I seem to remember seeing something about you protesting in Chicago. Be sure to let me know about the specifics! I want to hang out with freedom loving, Ron Paul admiring, pretty women.
That would be nice.
I'd love to see more peaceful, civil disobediece here in the States. Unfortunately, I'm 99% convinced that people will sit with hands on knees until currency/economic/entitlement collapse come. I'm afraid politeness will be a memory.
the only thing that would make Bernanke resign is a mandatory obligation as FED chairman to make love to HC every night before doing a POMO operation.
HC don't do that. She did it once. You see what happened. Think of something else.
You are a peaceful terrorist.
Peaceful revolution? lol.
"Power grows out of the barrel of a gun."
There is a reason the second ammendment exists, and it sure as fuck isn't for hunting or to provide for a militia.
I am in your generation as well, and do that daily (except the screwdriver is scotch and the other is Volcanoized). Healthy? No. Necessary to deal with all of this sht? Yes.
I prefer my reefer, but find it next to impossible not to drink with all the sh*t that goes on in this country on a daily basis. On top of that, being on a college campus in the campus party dorm where alcohol is essentially served with every meal :]
Here is a toast to the 21st century... we will be working until we are 90!
Hard times call for hard liquor.

"We won't get fooled again......" New anthem for the Tea Party advocates.......
They need the house, senate, and presidency plus a willingness to stand on stage as the MSM throws rotten vegetables at them to do anything about this cluster fuck. Personally; I've hedged for the day we become Zimbabwe.
It ruptured.
Off to the hospital.
lulz
The red fascists and the blue fascists can't stop spending because expansionary monetary requires ever increasing spending. That coupled with the fact that they don't want the gravy train to end. The banks are endlessly passing bags of shit around while playing musical chairs, the fed is giving them an endless amount of bags of shit to pass around, and the American people are humming the musical chairs theme song while watching dancing with the stars on their Ipad2.
Even more accurately, our debt-based monetary system needs ever increasing debt to prevent collapse. Given the reduction in real private debt via mortgage defaults, the government needs to step up and expand their debt, or whatever debt they can offer via student loans, quasi govt entities like GMAC, etc.
+2 Well described, both.
I know there must be some lawyers in the audience - Does the American public have ANY recourse to stop elected officials (<-- that is a crock of sh$t) from blatant misrepresentations of activities? I know this is a stretch but MY GOD there seems to be no end to this criminal behavior!
We, the citizens of these united States, already have that right.
http://www.thelandofthefree.net/abolishgovernment.html
Of course, those that control the money and the guns will say otherwise, and are most likely willing to back it up with force were citizens to actually rise up.
Well... do you mean legal recourse? If so, the second amendment is probably out... I would say the answer to your question is yes, impeachment... quite possibly the most efficient process, ever.
Efficient? This has to be started by the House of Representatives then if passed it goes to the Senate. The Senate it has been argued isn't subject to impeachment because they are not civil officers of the federal government. The Senate has repeatedly voted down impeachments.
You have no voice unless you have Inc. after your name.
No problem, Benocide printed another $5B today, I think another $5B or so tomorrow...
Why do we even pay taxes? Let Benocide just print the money we need.
GOP probably took some polls and found blame for their shutting things down. Bama still owns media friends. The whole "oh no the soldiers won't get paid" was just too much.
I just decided to cheat on my taxes. I will claim zero W-2 income. Fuck em
Don't view it as cheating; instead, view it as retaining the fruits of your own labor.
You realize your employer reports that income to the IRS right? I would strongly suggest figuring out how to find deductions to reduce your otherwise taxable income. If not, I suggest putting all assets in the names of other parties who do not expect to have any tax liens... and let the statute of limitations run... presuming of course they do not go after you for criminal evasion.
They'll just lien your bank account. Do it the legal way and write of your income with legal deductions.
Best one of all today....Joe Biden falls asleep during Nobama speech.
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/video/biden-falls-asleep-obama-debt-plan-...
Obviously he was merely calculating the efficacy of Obama's plan in his head.
Collecting a Billion or so in bribes requires a lot of palm greasing. It would make anyone tired.
Biden was just resting up for the hard job ahead -- or the head-job hard?
I was noticing that he wasn't the only one falling asleep in that video but then I fell asleep.
W-w-w-what? Is he done yet? Sorry -- dozed off there.
If I actually had even the slightest hope that the lying sacks of shit in Warshington had an iota of truthiness, my blood pressure would be an issue. It isn't.
Selling all my PM's since it appears Obama has this deficit problem under control
There's only one reason why Obama and crew would double down on spending like they did the last two years and the Republicans would continue to go along with it with nary a whimper ... 2012 is real.
Asteroid, moon popping out of orbit, Yellowstone magma dome exploding, first contact with flesh-eating aliens, whatever ... they know we're toast and they are partying like its 2009.
You left out massive solar eruption wiping out the power grid, the one disaster that might actually do us in next year.
You forgot:
"Cats and dogs living together; mass hysteria..."
It's none of that. A virulent disease will wipe out Cotton (Paper money is actually made from cotton) and as we all know oil is about to be completely gone (Plastic is made from oil). This eliminates all forms of money except metals. We all know metal money is a barbarous relic not to be trusted. Yes; the banksters world will come crashing down without paper and plastic.
Yawn, no surprise. I've always stated that the Fed Gov will not cut or do austerity. They know that the Fed transferring funds is a huge % of the GDP and one of the prime drivers of the ponzi. If they cut the thing explodes, if they don't cut it explodes. So it's the path of least resistance and allows for the most loot and pillage. It's not rocket science.
Uh, yup. 'Bout the gist of it.
Yes. They should replace "In God We Trust" on the currency with "Damned if you do, damned if you don't"
And place silhouettes of Buridan's ass and Morton's fork in the watermark.
These lies are not going away here--ever. How do people in countries that have been around centuries (China, Greece, Italy, etc.), who must be used to this shit handle it?
Do they vote? After a point does despair set in? Or, do you just tune everything out and go about your life. What else can you do? I am an old man, and when we had schools that taught, we learned about the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, Emerson's self reliance, and as we grew up we tried to lead our lives on the principals of these. Well, hello, NOT.
I take care of myself (not having ss) and get along okay. Others don't. But I feel like a stranger in my own land. I have lived all over the world, and in many countries I believe that life would be far better.
If I were young, I would get out now. But, when you are relatively old, it is hard to let go of one's heritage.
Not so hard. FT housekeeper and cook. Dish, hi speed internet, 3BR, 3B, in town , perfect weather, 8000 expats, lots of restaurants, doctor next door, TEC 100 Hospital, 100% health insurance, beaches, mountains, prop tax $200/yr. Narco Fears keep the prices low, low , low. Regards CI

There are still a few of us in the smaller isolated areas who believe in the traditional american ways.
T.S. Elliot once wrote that no cause is ever completely lost because no cause is ever fully won.
We can take america back.
Amen. One of the best comments I've seen you write.
Maybe. Huge apathy issue to get over. If you look at the evolution of the US... the framers start a revolution because they thought the stamp tax crossed the line... People rioted in the 60's over civil rights despite the fact that the standard of living was high here relative to the rest of the world, even in the poorest segments.
Now? A few decades of replacing eroding real wages with cheap credit has left America fat, lazy, and deeply in debt. Good luck mobilizing that kind of a population.
The younger generation believes its entitled the high life with no effort. Property is a government hand out, not something acquired through sweat equity. We've all been plugged into the Matrix.
The die off to come serves two masters reconstructionists and communists.
This...can't be right.
Can it?
Yep. Don't hold your breath waiting to see it on CNN, though.
cornbread?
Funny - googled to see how this is being handled in MSM...and...it isn't. Buried in an AP story nobody picked up.
HOWEVER - this is too much to slide under the radar without massive backlash???? or not????
Great litmus test to see if America will ever respond. Any Repubricrat that signs that thing should be a dead man walking. Any tea partier who signs it better head directly into the fbi relocation program. Any blue dog Demo, sign and resign. Shameful the games played now and all in broad daylight.
Is it that government is so highly inefficient naturally, or is it that there is so much duplication and overlap of agencies ... I dunno, third base.
You could probably cut a lot from the budget without losing services but that would entail 1) people working harder 2) more unemployed.
Same problem at the municipal level.
Can somone calculate this figure please, what these cuts of $353 million on a $3.5 Trillion budget amount to say on a family budget of $4k?..just so we can put this in perspective to the general public, as they are all desensitized to the words Trillions and Billions now!
308,745,538 million people
117,538,000 households
$3.5 Trillion Budget = $11,336 per person / $29,778 per household
$353 million = $1.14 in cuts per person / $3.00 per household
In other words, it's a .01% cut to spending. You can scale that to whatever household budget you like.
Historic cuts...real cuts. lol, good one Boner, Reed. They are one and the same...both FUCKTARDS and tools in our little political theatre.
It's the good cop, bad cop routine. Doesn't matter who wins, we're still prisoners.
Harold Rogers - please read his and other Republishits comments...then read the Demofucks comments...either they lied or are utterly incompetent (or both).
"With this bill we not only are arresting that growth but we are reducing actual discretionary spending by a record amount, nearly $40 billion in actual cuts in spending that has not ever been accomplished by this body in its history, in the history of the country,” said House Appropriations Committee Chairman Harold Rogers, R-Ky. “The cuts in this bill exceed anything ever passed by the House.”
Sadly, they are probably just incompetent. I've found one of the false assumptions many people make is that the politicians who are directly and indirectly destroying our nation's economy and the standard of living of her people are somehow nefarious and evil. The unfortunate reality is that really they are just fucking idiots that have no clue what they are doing and actually think they are helping things.
"those who torment us for our 'own good' will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"
So that's it! Now I can relax.
just to help you with this Family of Numbers concept...
you know there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour etc., so we are comfortable with seconds....
A Million seconds is roughly 11-12 days...a Trillion seconds is 32,000 years.
" or about what Goldman's trading desk makes in less than one day."
Therein is the root fucking cause of all the problems. Crash the fucking system already and watch compensation return to those that are actually worth a shit.
Those assholes in DC (house, senate, WH, Repubs, Dems, Bernake, Gheitner) will collapse the country and currency; until then they lie like hell and try to con us that they're doing right.
Get your little piece of land where you have water and can grow food; stock up with food, PMs, lead, and tradables.
Unemployment at 1% or 20%, doesn't matter - it's a lie. Dow at 2,000 or 12,000, doesn't matter its a lie. $38billion or $353million in cuts, all a fucking lie.
+1000 ..... ok that's a lie too, actual is +1
Don't sweat it, inflation is everywhere.
Meh..
B-b-b-but i'm serious this time!

Budget cut is to make room for military spending for invalding oil rich nations. That 's the only way America's corrupt elites know how to create wealth.

Yes, yes!! and watch them shuck and jive. You will love this tune that just went viral on the net.
It's the new matra for all of us tired of the political charade.

Come on over!
My roommates and I got Phil Jackson fired up (our 3 feet tall glass water pipe).
There would have been more saving by actually shutting down the government for even a day. Of course they'd likely have been given overtime to recover from the shutdown afterwards.
Americans are too naive. They watch survivor and impressed when someone can survive on an island, when there are natives doing just that for generations.
90% of African Americans vote for a president just because he is half black. Now Obama is back stabbing the same "brothers" while he gets rich.
American optimism has blinded them from the corruption within.
Poor, middle, upper middle class white Americans vote for the party of billionares thinking $10k in tax cuts will somehow make them an elite.
It is not pretty when suckers realize that they had been had.
I'm not aware of anyone who thinks getting a $10k tax cut will make them elite. But I think a lot of Americans think they pay too much in taxes. And when faced with the commonly held perception that there are only two choices at the ballot box, it is not irrational to believe that they would decide to vote for the choice that would cost them less than the other, especially when they don't want the product being forced on them (more government). To them $10k is $10k, and it's $10k that they'll get to save or spend on themselves or their family instead of watching some bureaucrat waste it. I don't think that makes them a sucker. They may have a naive view of the political universe, but in the narrow spectrum of their perspective they are making a logical choice.
Careful, educating Socialists is usually frowned upon, they don't like it and it never sinks into that mushy skull anyway..
Agreed. Some of the absolutely most diabolically "incompetent" people I have met in my life are dyed in the wool Dem,progressive, union, government employees. strange thing is ..... that they hang out with the billionaires they let contracts to hire underlings to do the bureaucrats job.
Where has this happened before? Oh yeah a place called Rome. where the citizen bureaucrats stopped running their own military and contracted it out to tribal cheiftains and mercs, who went on strike when Rome burned, and those warlords became the peerage of 1500+ years of feudalism.
I wonder how many Mohammad's are on the invite to the wedding of William and Kate? It is one of the most popular names in the U.K right now.
(I am not being racist, anti-immigrant or anti-Islamic. Just elucidating how the "must always have more power/land/money, but We are too elite to actually earn it" paradigm works out. In dramatic fashion. Which has also happened in the Arab world, Greece, china, etc. at different points in history)
inverse fractional reserve debt cutting?
Stop that. Now I have a headache.
It is almost a million dollars a day for one year...stop the complaining...
When the US borrowing is 60+% of our needed annual expenditures the SHTF...

"Poor, middle, upper middle class white Americans vote for the party of billionares thinking $10k in tax cuts will somehow make them an elite.

Yeah, and the party of the people is making the Utopia we all desire. Too bad the printing presses just can keep running and running, printing and printing and we will all be happy and think nothing but happy thoughts and love our fellow man as our own brother.
Bullshit flag up and flying and junk x10!
I had to actually leave and get some fresh air after this one - it's all so brazen...the lies are so "in your face". How these politicians, CEO's, economists, how they say this shit without cracking a smile is amazing.
Round and round we go, where it'll end nobody knows............
I'm sure someone knows; just not you or me or anyone we know.
"But the number of people to whom any organization can be a successful valet is limited, and shrewd politicians take care to attend either the influential, or somebody so blatantly uninfluential that to pay any attention to him is a mark of sensational magnanimity. The far greater number who cannot be held by favors, the anonymous multitude, receive propaganda." - Walter Lippman
I love the Blankfein squint, never gets old
That is the amount their debt increases in 1.5 hour. What an organisation.
its time to party like its 1799.

Obama's Foot in Mouth Disease. Common Side Effect of a Debt Addict
How about a real 38 Billion? Have the Fed simply divert what they throw into the market to Washington for one week.
Want to get rid of the deficit fast? Give each senator or congressman a $100 dollar bill under the table for every billion they cut off the budget. You'd be faded by Corp America putting a note saying $1 Million in a non-traceable off shore account for every billion you keep in.
Serious? 100$? How about 10% of what they cut, divided pro-rata among all the "yea" votes? And a bonus 2% for entitlement cuts... They'd be in permanent recess inside of 45 minutes and we'd have the entire slate to re-elect.
Maybe we'll get a surprise tomorrow... the House votes down the deal, or maybe Rand Paul goes for Strom's filibuster record. Unlikely, but we can dream.
What do we buy that is so important? According to Gov Christie (New Jersey), we purchase clothes for the government workers of New Jersey even when those clothes are not a uniform. (Link: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-04-13/n-j-pays-clothing-stipend-to-wo...)
And according to the welfare benefit statement of the State of Massachusetts, we buy the welfare women and their babies a layette, which includes a bassinete and blankies.
And we pay for the government employees to pretend they are working after they arrive at work via their government vehicles, while chatting on their government cell phones and government blackberries.
Oboma said today, "I will not cut benefits to the poor while I am President..." and this statement begs the question: Are the Republicans just running out the clock on Oboma? Surely anyone in the White House should be able to post their original birht certificate on the front door so that anyone who comes a knockin can see it. And why not?
Now call me a kumquat, but there are few things that raise my blood pressure more than the idea that we must continue to pay for the Marie Antoinette life of a guy and his wife, who have so little respect for our country that they can't even show up with a birth certificate. And what about Oboma's half-sister who insists he was born in America. Hmm...apparently she acknowledges that she was born in Indonesia, and it would be fun to see what her birth certificate looks like, just as a curiosity....there doesn't seem to be any concern that she is stating that he was born in America but if she isn't a citizen then what standing does she have to say except for blowing smoke out of her tight place?
One might also wonder this: Why is it that for the first time (EVER) in the history of this country, foreigners are telling us what to do, as though it is their right? What up with that? It's odd how Oboma, his half-sister, his Aunt living in public housing who is here illegally, all seem to take advantage of America's greatness, but don't seem to be giving anything back, and in fact, may be manipulating the system without shame.
So if Oboma is a fraud, could we please throw out his Auntie and stop giving his family succor? Could we add up all the money he has spent flying around to New York for a date with Michelle, and Michelle flying to Colorado to ski, and Michelle flying to Spain to shop? And could they reimburse us for all the things they have used and food they have eaten?
It does look like everyone is trying to run out the clock. Honor and honesty being in short supply in America, but don't forget, if he never shows his birth certificate we will be paying for the Oboma's for years to come. Is that what you want? And he will be feted around the world, even though he is a fraud. Is that what you want? Living free means being honest, living honest, and demanding honest.
What's a matta? Can't handle the twoof? Pansies! John Wayne wouldn't have put up with this no birth certificate thing. Romney on Larry Kudlow yesterday, and elsewhere, says he believes Oboma is a citizen. Hey, "believing" don't make it so. And if yer that kinda "believing" person, then you can't be president because when the Chinese say, "Why no, we haven't even considered invading you and taking over your country because we are totally overpopulated and headed for the cliff."
Oboma. Insidious. Faustian. And the end of our country if no birth certificate is shown, because it will mean we have no right to require honesty.
Trump said if he was president no one would be laughing at America. How Oboma must lay in bed at night and chuckle to himself. Sleeping in the White House, got their via white guilt, endlessly lying and thinking, "Boy, that law school really has paid off. Even though I didn't actually Pay for it! America, what a great country that I am gutting."
