That doesn't take much convincing. They aren't that stupid to realize that without skills, they are worthless, and worthless gets paid minimum wage, and little benefits. Whereas, they can make three times that in the army and their benefits are completely paid for by those that they defend. Should work out to $50,000 a year, three times what they command in the 'regular' diseconomy.

How many people would be willing to stay with this if it corrects to $25?

How many people would be willing to be buyers at $50?

The higher the percentage of people who answer both of these questions with a "yes", the less relevant the dollar as a measure of value becomes and vice versa.

Based on the enthusiasm in the commentary, I would say that 70% would say "no" while 30% would say "yes" to both questions. If that is an accurate estimate, stand-by for "reflexivity."

There's one thing we do know. Silver is not allowed to be booked as a reserve on a central bank's balance sheet, only gold. That makes me very suspicious about this level of momentum being driven by the rank and file buyer when the sniff test says "speculator."

However, as awareness and consciousness rise, the rank and file continues to lengthen its columns and as those longer columns increase the durability to withstand the inevitable volatility.
