Adolf As Jamie: Artist's Impression Of JPM's CEO Hearing That Silver Is Trading Over $500
Since it is now all too obvious that few if any Americans read (one wonders what the prospects for the Kindle really are), the one mitigating revelation is that cartoons (we recently called the Xtranormal bubble) and comedies are springing up like mushrooms, explaining all the fraud that occurs on Wall Street courtesy of tens if not hundreds of millions of unemployed Americans who suddenly have a lot of free time on their hands. The latest and greatest one takes on Jamie as Hitler (who has been very busy recently, having to deal with both MBS fraud and the Irish collapse) who we find is not too happy to learn that the Argentum line was just taken by the Asian banks and the millions of US coin purchasers, and the resultant squeeze is about to force his bank to come begging at the front door of the FRBNY for capital to fund the world's biggest collateral call ever.

Seriously though, lampooning of political figures (and here JD, whether he likes it or not has become a political figure) has a long and glorious history. While JD was taken seriously he was portrayed as someone to be feared as well as loathed. Now he is looked upon with justified derision and amused scorn. He is no longer to be feared although he is still loathed by right-thinking people. People with a moral sense.
One of my favourite films is Mel Brooks' 'The Producers' which was the first post-1945 film to treat the Nazis as figures of fun. Whether or not you approve of this, it has the effect of diffusing the fear associated with this German fascist abberation. The above film was not the first to take this approach. The credit for that goes to Charlie Chaplin for his 1940 film 'The Dictator' which tried a similar approach.
As someone who is not American, I think Americans tend to take themselves far too seriously (pace ZHers who seem to have a sense of humour) even more so than Germans or even Russians which encourages the sociopaths like JD to gain power and influence.
Yet, utterly contradicting this observation, these lampooning videos suggest that there is a growing awareness that laughter is the best medicine - especially when that laughter is directed at the bullies, sociopaths and megalomaniacs that infest our societies.

Spartan, go take a silver dime and buy a clue. This same exact video clip (usually starting with AH in the bunker already, getting the bad news) has been used 100 different times by different people in the last couple of years. It is used for one purpose - to show the rage of someone who was supposed to win big, instead getting their ass kicked. Mostly its done for political races and various games. The purpose is NOT to make fun of Germans, Nazis or anyone else - EXCEPT the loser. The key in all of these is the translated text.
By the way, there simply isn't a better language for a temper tantrum than German. That's part of the reason why this scene is such a classic.

The Downfall clips are by far some of the best humor to come out on the internet in the last decade.
The Germans will be picked on for a while still, probably because the victors (USA, Britain, Russia) ALWAYS write the history in their favor.
If history were to be revised to say that high level bankers had pitted the Allies against the Axis to further their own power and if a bunch of people came to believe it, the authority and safety of their decendents would be around zero.
If history was revised to say that there was no intentional extermination program for Jews in Nazi Germany, but the story had been used as justification for splitting up Germany, taking over Palestine etc., then the authority and safety of the Jewish people would be around zero (not to mention the Allied countries in the eyes of the world.)
The *space blank* have a disproportionate amount of control over the world media and money supply. Thus control over the world. But that topic is off limits even on Zerohedge.com right?

These video clips are good when well written and stays funny. I have seen a few on a variety of subject matter usually pertaining to unmet expectations or a failed plan and it's pretty good. I could not write anything like that into a spoof video to save my skin.
I know that silver is going to take off, as gold has. I know that all the things I have seen in the early 80's will go around again. Except much harder. I think that we are taking the United States into a near term future with no previous history in the experiences we are having as a Nation. So we will have to make do with what we have and write a page ourselves.
I see this Nation where it is during the roaring 20's and the music is not stopped yet. No matter how badly the band gets butchered and the chairs keep vanishing.
I think Germany now is a position with money and the ability to create gold or silver currency to replace paper in some form or another. If they do, I would not mind exchanging some of the US Dollars for Coinage at the Airport International Exchange desk or whatever the heck they call those places.
Unfortunately, the reality of the situation is not funny.
Oh, sure, everyone knows what's going on... that JPM has been massively manipulating the price of gold, but especially silver downward on request of the FederalReserve and federal government of the USSA. And we understand the FederalReserve compensates JPM for any losses they suffer.
However, what should be obvious to everyone... but isn't... the current state of affairs is nothing compared to the astronomical gains JPM will realize when they decide to "give up" this manipulation.
JPM is perfectly well aware how many million pounds of downward force they are applying to the spring-loaded price of silver [and gold]. And being predatory scum, they know perfectly well what would happen immediately if they purchased 2x, 5x, 10x as many long positions, and liquidated their shorts.
That's right, they'd walk away with somewhere in the neighborhood of hundreds of billions of dollars [or more] in gains, especially if they "demand to collect the physical" on all those long futures contracts they purchased expire.
And JPM is in perfect position to do exactly this, because they have access to essentially infinite money at 0% interest from the FederalReserve --- their partners in crime.
So JPM will not be trashed by MaxKeiser and his well-meaning troups (count me as one of them, since I already had 95% of my savings in silver and gold). Instead, JPM might become the richest bunch of predators that world has ever known.
With all their ill-gotten winnings in silver and gold, they could turn around and buy astronomical positions in other real, physical goods, and essentially take ownership if not delivery of the world supply of these goods.
Do you think, "Oh, but the FederalReserve or federal government of the USSA will not allow this."? Get real. First off, those entities are in fact, one in the same entities. Furthermore, they have what they consider perfect justifications not to restrain JPM. The predators-that-be understand perfectly well that destroying the dollar (one result of fundamental commodities going through the roof) essentially makes the huge debts become meaningless (easy to pay off).
Oh, and I almost forgot. JPM is already doing this... just search to see they've cornered almost all the copper at one of the major exchanges recently.
So, as much as I'd love to bury JPM and see justice done... we all should know better. The predators-that-be know perfectly well that they are in total control. They just stole several trillions in broad daylight, and they have no intention to slow down. Just watch.
