Tyler Durden's picture

With a title like "The 'Heads I win, Tails you lose' bank bonus culture", what's there not to like about Cuomo's latest. Also, sheds some light on why perpetuating a grossly inflated Ponzi market is where it's at come December.

I love this kind of reporting - brings the next revolution that much closer.

Just wait until next year, when the number of those millionaires doubles.

definitely written by a man who knows about populism and wants to be governor.

not sure this adds anything to the debate other than pornographic details.

If anyone ever wanted an illustration of what is required to create a "conspiracy of interests", they need look no further than the compensation tables in the document above.

Keep in mind the "TARP" totals in no way reflect the total amount of taxpayer dollars re-directed to Wall Street.  For example, it leaves out the direct transfer payment from US Taxpayer to AIG to Goldman Sachs so that AIG could pay it's counterparties at 100 cents on the dollar.

Did the Atty. General highlight any new indictments regarding this release?

Repackaging known facts on company letterhead is not really breaking any new ground.

This should be posted in every unemployment office in America.  No wonder these companies take such huge risks, their employees are the largest benefactors, not the stockholders.  And when these bets go bad guess who bails them out?

lizzy,

when you have senior treasury officials denying TARP money was used

for bank bonus payments it's instructive to see earnings could not have

covered bonuses without TARP money.  No slimy accounting...no, 'money

is fungible'..no 'we couldn't ask banks to trace where TARP funds go' just

a plain explanation that earnings did not cover bonuses.
