Just wait until next year, when the number of those millionaires doubles.

definitely written by a man who knows about populism and wants to be governor.

not sure this adds anything to the debate other than pornographic details.

If anyone ever wanted an illustration of what is required to create a "conspiracy of interests", they need look no further than the compensation tables in the document above.

Keep in mind the "TARP" totals in no way reflect the total amount of taxpayer dollars re-directed to Wall Street.  For example, it leaves out the direct transfer payment from US Taxpayer to AIG to Goldman Sachs so that AIG could pay it's counterparties at 100 cents on the dollar.

I would think that someone so wrong on the market would have a little more humility. Your attitude appears to be: if the market doesn't do what I expect, I'll curse CNBC et al.

You and your readers can all go to the poorhouse together. I'm doing very well.

You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

Look, the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Do not... fuck with us.

Imagine what the UNDISCLOSED payouts to WASHINGTON ARE? Or perhaps they are all Partners with our former VP Al Gore like Hank Paulson is for his 'green' private equity fund.

I never want to hear the US EVER talk about CORRUPTION in another country...this the most corrupt country in the world the difference is that other corrupt countries admit it and their people fucking throw their asses out of office (please see honduras)....we just stick our heads in the sand and call it "conspiracy" theory and continue to perpetuate the lie. To ourselves, our children and eachother.

God help us all, someday perhaps when we are all too poor to do anything else, we will rise up and take back this country.

Until then more CNBC, more HFT-frontrunning, more political payoffs please....thank you sir can I have another.

this is amazing nonsense, you cleraly are typically colloqial American, or poorly read, or simply so self absorbed that you have no snese of proportion about nanyhting beyond your shores. America is a little more corrupt than what it's citezens have always thought, but it is not even on any scale of real corruption. What you are witnessing with wall street is nothing, compared to any Afircan or Latin American country, nothing!!!!

Complaints and whines by westerners is like enduring Paris hilton complaining about the challanges of her life. It' unbearable.

This should be posted in every unemployment office in America.  No wonder these companies take such huge risks, their employees are the largest benefactors, not the stockholders.  And when these bets go bad guess who bails them out?

lizzy,

when you have senior treasury officials denying TARP money was used

for bank bonus payments it's instructive to see earnings could not have

covered bonuses without TARP money.  No slimy accounting...no, 'money

is fungible'..no 'we couldn't ask banks to trace where TARP funds go' just

a plain explanation that earnings did not cover bonuses.

But that is still the game after a career busting balls. You have to keep it honest because they are watching at all times.
