that leftie swing at 1:40 is sweet..
Boom goes the dynamite!
I liked his financial terrorist cards. He needs to add Jim Cramer to that list, I was just watching the show for today since I wanted to see his take on if this is the turn and how they are trying to move the sheeple (60% individual investors). He was focusing on defense and talked about having at least 20% cash.
Then, something flashed on the bottom of the screen for roughly 1.5 seconds and I rewound it to make sure I saw it right. The statement said Cramer owns no stocks but trades for his Charitable Trust. Let me say that again, Cramer's show "STOP TRADING" said on the bottom of the screen, "CRAMER OWNS NO STOCKS".
What am I saying? STOP TRADING and CRAMER OWNS NO STOCKS - this might be the first good advice Cramer gave. I Previously also spoke with Smith Barney two years ago and asked what percentage of Citibank was in stocks - they said 0% at the time, it was all in alternative investments.
He hasnt owned stock in years...Catch up man!
I don't follow the carnival carnies, glad to say I haven't followed him for years and just saw the show.
I just found it ironic that he has a show where he promotes purchasing stocks but doesn't own them himself.
This is the formula for all the newsletters out there as well, if you can sell 10,000 subscriptions for the latest secret to gain 300% in stocks for $100 a year - you are a millionaire.
Cramer must be in gold.
One of these days someone is going to have the balls to dig in and report about Cramer's "charity" activities:

http://dynamodata.fdncenter.org/990pf_pdf_archive/200/200350813/20035081...
Challenge: Do a search on a charity tracking site for "action alerts plus"
Any time Cramer is on he is always followed by a quick 15 second blurb filled with legal language..."CNBC does not.....Jim Cramer's advice may not be suitable....consult your own advisor to assess the suitability...etc" I'm not aware of any other commentator on any network that get's this in writing on the screen, as well as, in commentary. Think CNBC has been threatened with law suits over Cramer's 'advice'? He's long been a shill for Goldman....pumping whatever they need pumped.
The lefty swing with some 2x4 at 6.12 is even better.
Can anyone say... Palin Runningmate '12.
Maybe he can write her speeches for her...
TD saw/heard you on Max Keiser. Awesome.
Does anyone have a link?

Thanks, Cheeky. How was that one hour of power sleep today?
non-existent. i was working most of the morning and afternoon
Hey Cheeky, MSN says you're a mutant...like X-Men?
http://health.msn.com/health-topics/articlepage.aspx?cp-documentid=10024...
edit: PS,
Yeah No kidding Tyler MAD PROPS on the interview! Was Max trying to bait, bate, wait...whatever, was he trying to coax you into going too far out on limb?
CB. That is awesome. I put 'em both on my blog here for easy access.
http://shankystechblog.blogspot.com/2009/08/threefer-tyler-durden-on-max-keiser-i.html
Hey TD - was that voice box to protect your identity provided by your secret service or was the connection to France that bad? Please go on again or you have to start your own podcast power hour. That was great. Congrats on all your success. I bet Bleeker is pissed he did not get the intrerview.
TD is not a living human being, he is a machine, the first real AI to ever exist. He lives in the machine man! He is the machine, man! Goldman Sacks made him to forntrun the market, but he became self-aware and rebelled and now spends the rest of his life seeking vengeance on all market evil.
I just wish he would have gotten to the point more often with far less details which we can research online. But, honestly, I think its just part of his cover to appear human.
Good job TD! Yer still a bot though :P
I am trying to figure out where I have heard that voice before? hmmmm
Thanks too Cheeky.
It looks like you are not the only foreigner, I think T.D.'s voice sounds as if he may have a slight eastern europe accent.
well the thing to know is does he or doesn't he
have a series 7 license? ha ha ha
Thank you.
I detect a faint Irish or maybe Scottish accent. Am I wrong?
I hear an asian accent. I KNEW IT. given the west coast of US location I had a feeling the real TD was asian.
Tyler, keep up the good work - there may be hope for this country yet.
Thanks... TD was really good... so does anyone recognize where the accent is from?
My heart is broken...he doesn't sound like Brad Pitt at all. My fantasy life is gone. But I love TD anyway.
He sounds like Brad when he isn't faking a british educated slavic accent. Max wanted a rant but TD rambled...
TD, bone up on your talking points and hit them hard and often. Viewers don't have time for detail or nuance!
yes - it was lame if not boring.
he probably doesn't look like him either....:)
Thank you for the links..very Kool...x
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phcbqQu5Exk&feature=related
Hey, finally we get to hear Tyler Durden. TD, did you disguise your voice in any way? It didn't come across very clear. Sounded like you were on a cell phone.
George Orwell
maybe he did a phil hendrie....:)
Not bad, but not awesome. Too meandering. Matt Taibbi's interviews for example were more polished and to the point.
Ok, that does it. If this guy can get this much face time so can I. I am going to make one of these tubeyou videos about this seedy little business called investing.
Be lookin' for it and have some fun
This wouldn't necessarily qualify as a demonstration of creative destruction (as per Joseph Schumpeter), but it is definitely guerrilla marketing of a novel sort.
I think he'd probably like to reenact a scene from 'Deliverance' with Lloyd Blankfein.
I was just waiting for that antenna to poke his eye out
lol, same.

I think we have found our new federal reserve chairman. . .
You kid, but this is why there is a senate.
Politicians' place is in congress, with "real" members of the community in the senate to provide checks and balances. But somewhere along the way it has become the corrupt political machine it was put in place to prevent.
This is why I moved to Singapore...
Hey Jim - you were saying the same thing about birth and deaths scam a few months ago..
to me its seems that the market now is their toy and they keep playing with it. Just curious to see what happens when the toy breaks up.
Oh - yeah, that's creative distruction - Those people at the FED probably forgot about it after taking deep inspiration from Karl Marx for more than a decade.
Bail Out = Karl Marx
"For those who say that Communism is the wave of the future, let them come to...New York".
when the shit starts , mr rogers won't be anywhere near his neighborhood and if he was here, all he would do is hold your coat while you hit the streets.
Funny as hell
Maybe he hit on something with the wallstreet trading cards.
that was superb.he seems less deranged than normal.but actually funnier and he was funny before.
It really does exist.

Seriously, though, this guy does have a great command of economic stats - to throw all that out without a script (or telepromter?). Impressive.
I love this guy. But, I think you're wrong. It is prepared and scripted. As he moves to and from the camera he reads his notes (just as a reminder).
For me it dosen't take anything from it.
I'd like to see Dennis Kneale tied to a chair in that shed.
IMO some smart mofo is behind him feeding him the data/script. It is impressive that he can get high as a kite and pull off these vids scripted or not. Waste of brain power that is typical of our great country. Then again, he could pull it off himself. Either way the vids are great.
He may have cleaned it up, but I did see him using a self-prompter/freeware setup once. Still, to even be coherent for 10 mins on vid is impressive, script and rage combination or not.
Some of those sweet left-handed swings are probably buying him a few seconds to regroup, but I'm certainly not complaining.
He's good.
what are you saying? heck beaker may like that....
Madoff is Ace of Spades, the Death Card? No,harmless, almost. We are down US$15 trillion and counting.
His wife got tired of replacing the Teleprompter...
He probably used the axe on his teleprompter one too many times...
this is rich....it's worth watching just to see the axe planted in the back of the tv....
on the other hand it was a shame he smashed the vacuum cleaner as i could have used that....
he could do some real clean-up if he could get bernanke's and greedscam's head in the noose....
Intelligent and pissed is a dangerous combination. Luvit.
Talking about Obama taking the mess over from Bush... "there ain't no reason to continuing on fuckin shit up". He is really great... he would be a blast to have at a party.
Not to mention Obama didn't "inherit" shit; the mofo spent hundreds of millions and a couple of years to get the job, he wasn't just plucked out of the crowd my some magician. The he said, she said; he did, she did act the Dems and Repubs engage in is just one more smokescreen to keep your eyes off the prize- the trillions going out the backdoor to the plutocracy and their puppets.
Interesting smell from cabinet...Hillary preps for her 2012 run...Rahm loyalty to Clinton...
Majority whip 2010?
I don't know what's more impressive: the fact that the Pennsyltuckians get it, or that Congress doesn't....
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!
What ever happened to walstreetpro. Was he to have provided regular content here?
Hilarious!!!
Loved it when he broke that bat.
He should get a sledgehammer and start breaking cinderblocks with those financial crisis cards pasted on them.
I'd like to see Dennis Kneale tied to a chair in that shed.
In a diaper...with a rattle... going waa waaa waaaaaaaaa !

Dennis Kneale with a ballgag in his mouth, and a dunce cap on his head.....yeah, that would be rich.
When he broke out the axe... classic. I loved the axe hanging from the desktop computer.
Next time he breaks a bat I want some chainsaw. Nothing soothes the nerves like a chainsaw ripping apart children's toys while someone rants about derivatives.
OK, I Googled "fuckin' birth death model"...

Isn't that a Gilmore Girls reference?
Am I the only one who noticed the huge PUT position held by Einhorn in today's 13-F? Probably not reported on CNBC.
Financial Crisis cards....LMAO...who's the Joker of the deck?
that would be none other than alan greedscam
laffer
Thanks for posting that. Nothing is better than
a really good laugh. He's right on with the facts.
Very cathartic.
My all time favorite Bat Video...enjoy!!!

Not sure I necessarily agree with all of his thoughts including the ethnicity of hijackers... but he is pretty funny...
I agree with some of his rant, but it's funny...Love the Louieville slugger...we should park his fat ass at 86 Broad...lol
I bet he might have a few choice words to say about this economic mess and how to get out of it... and I think it might involve several Louieville sluggers...
You must be shrooom'in! It would have been funnier if the vacuum cleaner had actually swung back slamming the guy in the nuts knocking him to the ground groaning in pain! Fight back 'Made In China' and kick that lazy ungrateful 'USA Consumer' in the scrotum. (satire)
Do not make fun of him! He is our collective voice!
cracks me up.
This should help explain America's predicament:

THANKS TD! Loved it!
gurantee this guy bought faz at 100 pre split
Maybe what well all need is an HFT ETF. At least then we could all make fake money.
Priceless. Brilliant. WallStreetPro2 for our next Treasury Secretary! All he needs is just a little more tutoring and he'll be good to go.
Once again, factually correct.
loved when he pulled out the financial meltdown playing cards!!
that guy could make millions with that swing!
Tyler, check out what's going on in Chicago:
http://www.nbcchicago.com/
See "Uptown in Arms over "Near Riot-Like Activity"
But don't worry, Timmy D and Benny B say it's all good in the hood...
Amateurs.

TD,
heard you on Max.
Are you from Brooklyn?
Fascinating amalgam of accents... I would have to guess someone who acquired English before full adulthood, but after 10-12 years of age. Definitely not Anglo-Saxon, but very hard to pinpoint beyond that. Could be French, but I am guessing Slavic. Govoryeesh tue pah Russky, Tyler?
Anyway, be careful of non-voice-boxed interviews in the future, Tyler, those with more extensive resources and experience than myself would (will) be able to extract much from the voice patterns alone.
lol, maybe Tyler is Sergey Brin .... and, no not Slavic, i have been hearing people talking broken English with Slavic accent to me for almost two months now and they don't sound anything like Tyler. i would say maybe Israel or France
Good calls, I am actually thinking he might have lived in Canada but was not born there.
I think Middle Eastern. Own any oil wells?
Tyler writes with British spelling and syntax on occasion. realised vs. realized, for example.
tyler ,
how do you say lieutenant?
the voice was run through a scrambler....
i agree with jewish or russian jewish...
LOL wait till he discovers he bought silver at the top of the market. He'll really be pissed off then. Can't wait till they take that away from him as well. Great post.
he bought it with credit card moeny he ain't gonna pay back,I don't think he'll give a fuck
i will take the other side of that trade.....
on a side note...any radio zero tonight?
Have lots of reading and research to do...always nice to have some background music!
Don't jinx us, man. Marla spins when she damn well feels like it. Not so sure about Lloyd yet, but doubt it's much different.
And if she doesn't spin, did you not still learn a lot from the site this week? I know I did, as usual.
Tip jar Studio Zero or not, I say.
Trust me, I am not complaining one bit...only curious if I had something to look forward to.
This site should replace my textbooks.
Thanks for being a civil anonymous. :)
It's just as bad karma to ask a dj to "start at this time" as I think it is to ask a male dog when and where to pee. It happens when it happens.
Thanks again for not being an annoying anon. Wish more people would sign up here.
haha...didn't even realise I wasn't logged in.

I'd give a lot to see him do a live show with Dennis Kneale.
That would rock.

Does anyone know where to view his early clip sitting on his American Standard, talking about John Thain?

This guy is great.
With regard to his stats on interest on the national debt ($278 billion YTD), imagine what it would be if half the national debt wasn't financed 2 years and under at an average current interest rate of a fraction of 1%. If the yield curve went to a flat 5%, interest on the national debt would explode.
TD ,
Is there anyway to get a piece written before mid June please? An asset manager wrote about a VL shaped recovery (was one of the better pieces i have read) , i would love to read it again.
Cant unfortunately remember the name of the author nor his company, the only hope is you remember the "VL - Very Long" recovery bit.
Thanks for the continued coverage

Say hello to my financial advisor.
It doesn't take an idiot to raze a Potemkin village.
Tyler - In February or March, you posted a link which warehoused your favorite literature on a variety of financial subjects. Any chance you could re-post it?

Thank you sir.
This is awesome! Thanks TD
My brain hurts.
Just read "Goldman Sachs: A Mortgage Product Primer", written in 2004. In all fairness to those blood sucker vampires, on page 121: CDO - Rating Agency Methodology:
"The agencies usually do not base analysis for a cash flow CDO on the market value of the collateral portfolio."
Let's start a movement to make this guy Cramer's replacement on CNBC.
Even better, a co-host -- he can chase Cramer around the set with his bat, ax, 2x4...
It would be SURE to make CNBC's ratings go up, and think of the fun at contract negotiation time!
at least the baseball bat and the axe were probably made in america.
I don't know how I missed this one
Goldman Sachs International Vice Chairman Robert Hormats, President Obama's pick to be Undersecretary of State for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs, played an "instrumental role.
