Are You Ready For 3rd World America?

Phoenix Capital Research's picture

The US
economy is literally on the ledge of a cliff.

Today, the Federal
Government accounts for 35% of incomes and salaries in the US. That’s over one
third of all income in the US coming from the Government’s ability to dole out
funds.

What
supports this largesse?

Money
printing and our ongoing debt-orgy. And today, these are one and the same. The
US Federal Reserve and Treasury have enacted policies so insane that the US
Federal Reserve is now the single largest holder of US Debt with a balance
sheet of  $2.8 trillion.

Let’s give that number some perspective. Germany,
the world’s FOURTH largest economy is only $3.3 trillion in size. At $2.8
trillion the Fed’s balance sheet is larger than the economies of France, the
UK, and Brazil.

Why is the
Fed’s balance sheet so huge? Because US Treasuries are so unattractive to
foreign Governments that the Fed has had to pick up the slack and buy our debt
(usually within a week or two of it being issued).

Let me
rephrase that: the US Fed is now printing money so it can buy US Debt because
other investors are no longer interested in buying it.

This is just
one of the various schemes Washington is employing to maintain its fiscal
insanity. Another is the active raiding of pension funds to buy new US Debt
(YES, the Treasury is doing this).

So… the US
Government is now paying over 1/3rd of US incomes… and it’s
financing this by having the Fed buy new debt from the Treasury.

Do you think
this entire system might end up collapsing in a horrific manner?

And this is
just ONE ASPECT of the nightmare that is the US Financial system. I’m not even
detailing the $600 TRILLION in derivatives, the clear insolvency of the big
banks (you know who I’m talking about), the FDIC running a deficit (are our
deposits REALLY insured?), erupting
inflation in food and energy prices, (Fed data CLAIMS prices FELL in the last
four months) and the hundred other issues all of which will end very, VERY
badly.

Regardless of
how we look at the US’s current situation, it is clear that 2008 will NOT go
down in history as THE Financial Crisis for the US. No, 2008 will be considered
the “warm-up.”

The reason
for this is simple. 2008 was primarily the collapse of the private banking
system in the US. The Fed’s response to this was to transfer the garbage debts
that nearly took down the banks ONTO the US’s balance sheet.

Put another
way, the Fed allowed the systemic risk to spread from private bank balance
sheets ONTO the US’s public balance sheet… which means the next Crisis will involve
not only Wall Street and the banks but the US as a whole.

I’m talking
about a sovereign debt Crisis. The kind of collapse we’re now seeing in Greece…
only for the single largest economy in the world as well as its reserve currency.

So what
happens when this Crisis hits and a partial if not complete Government shutdown
occurs? What happens when that 35% of incomes and salaries stops being paid?
What happens when prisons and other Government paid services run out of money?
What happens when the next major banking run reveals that there is no WAY on
earth the FDIC can truly insure all the deposits in the US (other than more
money printing from the Fed)? What happens when the US defaults on its debts?

THEN and
only then will we experience the REAL Crisis of the US Financial system. It is
coming. There is no doubt about it. And people are only just starting to wake up to it (nearly half of Americans now
believe we’re going to have a Great Depression).

Smart
investors and independent thinkers are already taking steps to get ready for
this. With just a few key moves and strategies it WILL be possible to not only
survive but thrive during the coming disaster.

On that
note, if you’ve not taken steps to prepare for the coming Crisis, you NEED To

Well, I guess anything's possible but they seem to be stretching on that idea.  I like the part in the video with Ventura and his "Conspiracy Expert" driving along the outer roads of the airport...and they see a bunch of precast concrete box culverts sitting there waiting for installation...not for their typical use, which is storm drainage, but for the "tunnels".  Ok, sure.

If it is true, so be it...not like I'd want to ride it out with a bunch of politicians anyway...bunch of assholes...I'd take my chances elsewhere...plenty of other suitable real estate.

All these so called nice people who work for the federal government that you live amongst, who work so very hard for their pay check....

You do realize, they all exist to do one thing....collect revenue from those of us in the private sector in order to continue to get their paychecks, and their annual raises, and their lifetime pension after they put their 20 years in.....

Look, the guys that drove the trains to Auschwitz were probably pretty nice guys.  They worked hard all day at thier job to keep those trains on schedule, hoping to get that pay raise at their next review.  At the end of the day, they went home, kissed their wives, and took thier kids to soccer practice.

Obeying illegal orders is no defense, and supporting a repressive government is immoral.

What about ignorance?  Is ignorance of the law a defense?  I would argue that it is when you have such a ridiculously complicated legal and governmental system.  Bottom line--most gov employees are not to blame.

Yep. The eruption of the Yellowstone caldera would qualify as a 'super quake'. A massive seismic event well beyond magnitude 10 would entomb those elitist a-holes for all eternity. One can hope anyway.

We will know that the end is near when all of the corruptocrats go missing and there is a heavy volume of private jets at Denver Airport.  In case you don't get it, the US has built an enormous underground retreat there with a tunnel system complete with rail that connects with the mountain command center.

That sewer main runs right under the Denver branch of the Fed.   Some good guys could heap wheel barrows of fiat into the sewer enroute to the said bunker tunnel.

Yup, printing is the only option.  Current printing method is creating debt.  A prez with balls might start printing US Notes (fiat w/o debt) but that would mean ending the Fed, arresting the banksters, and a huge Praetorian Guard (among other battles).  Likely they will keep printing FRNs till the banksters own everything.

"Govt employees out of work?  You mean paper shuffling parasites who live off the backs of taxpayers?"

Yeah, baby!  All those fuckers need to be employed by REAL "PRODUCTIVE" entities, like, ah, the financial sector!  For fuck's sake, at least in govt there are SOME people who actually do shit (like fix you fucking roads, the ones that people like you don't want to pay for because of your sense of entitlements [hypocrite that you are, I'm sure]).

Thanks for playing!

For every two workers you see "fixing roads" (that wouldn't need fixing every three months if they were actually, ya know, built properly) there are four others chewing tobacco and scratching their balls.  And all six jobs are still funded through tax revenue, so even the "productive" ones are effectively leeches.

But the larger point is that the public sector has not felt even 1/100th of the pain that the private sector has experienced.  It's long past time for that to change.

I agree and to the poster beloew its not some left/right game its the fact that many in the public sector have a sense of entitlement. My brother-in-law and sister are teachers and they act like their profession is sacred but when i was unemployed it was my fault and they awlays have this air of im better than you and i get that from most teachers i have ever known and most public employees. and they hvave felt no pain. i didnt picket when i lost my job, i packed up and started looking. yes, i collected UI bt i paid into it and i always looked for work not cause womeone made me and i had about six months left that i coulda sat around but got a job instead, thank God. but the point is, there are way too many cops. way too many teachers. way too many public sector workers. i was against gov. walker from wisc. when he started his thing up there but after the reacions of the teachers he semi-converted me. semi. Im not his biggest fan but i cenrtainly see things differently after the teachers moaned about having to, gasp, pay for health insurance, like, OMG< private secotr workers./ LIKE OMG, totally un fair like.

Go work for the Gov then if it obviously bothers you so much, otherwise STFU and get on with it. Maybe your brother in law and sister act like so because they are fucking smart and are probably educating your kids and getting paid peanuts just to give something back to the machine while baw bags like you just knock the 35%. Someone has got to do it, ok 35% is a joke but you could start getting it down by focusing your energy towards useless Gov shite like "security" and not teachers.
