I shorted AUDUSD... Topping pattern and nice inversal candles on the daily. Sell off next week on everything that moves.

I just entered fresh shorts in AUDUSD futures.... if she wasnt going parabolic today, its not happening, and it is overbought as a mother anyway.

Dumb question, but I figure this is the PLACE to get an answer.

Aussie Bank Rates are paying close to 5%.

Can Americans convert their USD's and buy Aussie CD's?.

Yep, my thinking is that many shorts are desperately hanging on.

If we get a brief selloff next week, they will be even more emboldened.

Huge volume gap ups in names like ORCL and RIMM is not bearish.

Cyclical names like DE and CAT breaking out to new 52-week highs is not bearish either.

The only sector really stinking up the place is oil and gas, but everything else has resumed a bull trend for the moment.  But even the lousy OIH held like a champ today while oil prices continued their plunge.

Some of the Investor's Business Daily Top 100 names are still making new highs, other leaders like NFLX are consolidating.

We've had no breakouts of the fins without them, how can we trend higher. Going into earnings season for them will be disaster.

What these figures fail to tell us is WHERE are these profits coming from.

CAT for example is not getting this increase in US sales, I guarantee it.

The OzzieDollar is in a topping formation but the jury is still out on whether this is the top.  Personally, I don't think it is.

Oz has another slight problem to worry about and that is a gap in the H8 at 0.9275.  Once this has been filled, I think it is back off to the races for the "risk-on" pair.  At the turn, expect the pair to top within a couple or three weeks at 0.9666.

Let's see, that's a four-hundred pip move there, plus the 126-pips down from here to cover the gap (to 0.9233...), plus the retrace.  Carry the zero...and voila! a 550-pip gain.

That'll work.

:D
