Buildings In Apple Sacramento Campus Evacuated After Bomb Threat

It used to be primarily schools and banks. Oddly enough, bomb threats have now moved on to the world's most "beloved" company. Apple Insider reports: "A bomb threat at Apple's distribution center in Elk Grove, Calif., has forced an evacuation of three buildings while emergency personnel assess the potential threat. People with knowledge of Monday's ongoing incident informed AppleInsider that the eastern three buildings A, B and C have been evacuated at the Apple Sacramento Campus. The site is used for receiving, warehousing and logistics, and is comprised of three warehouses totaling 450,000 square feet." Unclear if there were any more suicides at FoxConn to accompany this curious development.

People with knowledge of Monday's ongoing incident informed AppleInsider that the eastern three buildings A, B and C have been evacuated at the Apple Sacramento Campus. The site is used for receiving, warehousing and logistics, and is comprised of three warehouses totaling 450,000 square feet.

The buildings were evacuated Monday around 12:30 p.m. Eastern, 9:30 a.m. Pacific. As of Monday afternoon around 2:30 Eastern, 11:30 local time, emergency personnel were still on scene.

The evacuated buildings house refurbished products, returns, finance and human resource operations for Apple.

Why are the buildings called a "campus"? That's a term traditionally reserved for university properties and estates. Or are Apple now so far up their own backsides that they think there is some academic purpose to their warehouses?

I just love this about Apple..."beloved"...how much its customers love to overpay for things built really cheaply in China in conditions severe enough for its manufacturers to jump off roofs to their deaths...making Steve Jobs one of the country's greatest job exporters and slave labor drivers...and Americans, soon to be zombies when the white model finally comes out, step up like sheep for sheering, and will in fact sleep on the street for days to be the first for each model release.

And hedge funds are piled in like the world's greatest Greater Fools.

Talk about poorly allocated capital [by all involved]. It would not surprise me at all if this story became the "excuse" for a movement by the greater fools.
