Canadians Halt Options Trading With California Residents Due To Unpaid Bills

Tyler Durden's picture

This is what happens when you live in a bankrupt state: one by one the big exchanges stop trading with you.

Please be advised that there has been an unforeseen delay in renewing CDCC’s annual application with the State of California.

Due to this delay, CDCC options may not at this time and until further notice be sold or offered for sale in the state of California and to California residents until the annual application process is completed.

How does one now buy December $0 Puts on Sacramento? Perhaps Arnie can do another garage sale and pay up before the NYSE and NASDAQ follow suit and block all equity trading for Californians.

h/t Rod

What I meant by that is that each one of these up close is amazing in and of itself, seeing the connections, the horror, the impact on individual lives. And then to take your attention away from all of the details to pull back and get the big picture, well, it is hard to do, the ADD just pulls me back in.

Actually, if you check our time posts you will see I could not suppress my own need to elaborate. No offense taken at all.

Again, I am just so glad you didn't blow yourself up, in that garage, with all that gasoline. We were really worried about you. I had asked around. There was discussion. I don't think I am giving too much away...;-D

Igor Panarin says

"“The 2009 US budget deficit is 4.5 times the 2008 deficit, while firearms sales are up 40%. On October 1, the coupons that were given to state workers are to be cashed out. When the workers realize that they are getting nothing for those coupons, they will take out their firearms and chaos will unfold."

Yeah! That, and Disney Land is the happiest place on Earth. What a fantasy! Hi ho, its off to chaos we go!

Probably the majority of state workers are socialists and women who are not firm believers in either the 2nd Amendment or gun ownerwhip.

The most damage these people could do would be to hold a Code Pink rally. Hey hey, ho ho, those stinkin IOU's have got to go. Hey hey, ho ho.

What!? You'll accept the Federal Reserve's worthless scrip, backed only by the full faith and credit of corrupt Chicago gangsters in Washington D.C., but you won't accept Arnolds's IOU's?

Truth be told, the only faith and credit the US has left is the fact that if you don't accept our worthless scrip, we'll invade your country and bomb you back to the stone age. And, if that don't work, we'll nuke you until you glow!

Why do I think that the Texas Fed chief is behind the Tx session move?. In fact, I think that he probably threatened something in case the fed went further in its debt monitizing. For long peopel were expecting Ca to be the first to seceed, but hearing the tx fed president on Bloomie one day,I had a feeling that the guy was not happy. And if things gets more ugly inside,he might blow a wistle, did anybody else hear that interview and had the same feeling?
