Car Containing Prince Charles And Camilla Attacked In London By Angry Protesters

Tyler Durden's picture

And now for something amusing: austerity it seems bites back - while driving on Regent Street, Prince Charles, with Camilla in tow, have been attacked by angry student protesters on their way to the London Palladium for a show. The story is being covered on Sky News. In the meantime, the protests are getting increasingly more violent.

And a photo of the post-traumatic car: definitely more than just "kicked" - yes, that is bulletproof glass that is broken.

Ahhh the irony, the peasants are finally getting angry that they aren't allowed to be indoctrinated into the same tyrannical regime that holds them down, keeps them ignorant, and robs them blind. Angry that they can't afford to be put into debt for the rest of their lives serving their corporate sovereign lord and master.

Hey kids, you really want an education, try learning for yourself, make your own conclusions, test them out, and see if you're right.  Higher education is just another bubble that is bursting; as the rates rise, if you can't pay the piper, you forfeit your education much like others forfeit their house.

Good Luck Planet Earth...

This is my take as well.  Basically this is the realization that they never could afford school...  it was simply an illusion of credit.

Don't worry though, the increases in tuition will sow the seeds of the institution's own destruction...  less people through the doors, less revenue, less indoctrination, but those costs just keep coming in...

Wonder if Charles and Camilla are finally discovering the sheeple are not happy,no advisers or security men to hide them from how the public truly feel, screwed by too big to fail greedy bankers and elites who are only interested in their bonus cheques and don,t care about the social cost. This isn,t just about Education costs, this is about an economy and country without jobs, industries or wealth for many, where the legalised crime and criminals are protected by politicians and the establishment.A country without purpose, soul or hope for many of its inhabitants.Years from now the people who fight back for a better country with purpose, drive and cohesion and wealth and prospects for the many will be seen as patriots. Why should the nations future, pensions and wealth be used to pay for greedy, good for nothing tossers who should be in prison for the crime of the millenium.

they should at least entitle students to a math lesson before they institute any kind of austerity measures. and can't the royals find a car with tinted windows, or a driver that knows the back streets? furthermore, if you have a long road of bleak budget votes ahead to try and cover your ass-inineness it would probably be advisable not to upset the riot demographic. come to think of it, it's more like creating jobs for the riot police. or perhaps most other constituent groups in the crosshairs will have their heads on a keiser platter for real. the can is now being kicked down the road of life and death.

"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle."

Its going to happen. In London already there's been a sharp rise in mugging in areas where very high net worth people live -- F1 boss, Bernie Ecclestone, was a notable one. I predict more car jackings, follow home robberies and the like in areas like Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills etc as people become more desperate. Only reason its not happening faster in the US is there's a greater geographical divide between the rich and the poor and the police can stand in between them a little easier. In London you have council estates (housing projects for you 'Mericans) within walking distance of oligarch's mansions.

"Oligarch scum'll get theirs" and you post a link to a Rage Against the Machine video.  Brilliant.  Let's take the lyrics of a song written by a pseudo-communist frontman of an erstwhile relevant band who ironically got rich by selling their CDs in a free market environment.  Please bring some insight.  I don't usually post here, because most of the technical nuances are above my head, but I am learning.  It seems like you stopped in 1990.  You should stop posting.  Save the scrolling.

I don't give a fuck about which corporate suit financed this shit -- I'm going by the message of the song, idiot. What, you think I own RATM CDs, and t-shirts and such?  Perhaps a Che t-shirt? You should be aware that classism isn't an issue of a by-gone era, it's still alive and well--but you're apparently too dense to make the necessary connections. But go ahead, keep guessing, and...

Really?  Where are you from then stranger?  UK?  If so, needless to say, your pale face has been on more than a dozen CCTV cameras today then.  But, you're right.  It is we that are so keen to be slaves.  Where was your TV made?  Ukraine?  Madagascar?  Shut your silly face.

lol, way to go assuming about me--you know nothing of me, --and this: "pale face"  Do you know what race I am?  Have you seen me, a photo of me, perchance?  Or are you going by my avatar?

Exactly.  Just shut the hell up, you piece of trash--go kiss some ass, you're good at rationalizing the shit on your lips.  And FYI: I'm in Florida and I don't watch TV. Do I have a television? Sure, it's a samsung, about, I don't know 5-7+ years old--but the message just went way over your head. Your associative abilities aren't that great.  And I'd junk you, but I'd rather just say this: You're a poor example of an American.

It's ironic that the nationalistic ones are always the worst types of people you'll come across. This clown can't even fathom the possibility that there's American citizens in his own country that would dare criticize their own government, or fellow countrymen for being, well, dumbasses. Just go ahead and suck that rotting flag, presumably while wiping a tear from your eye.  Keep making primitive & symbolic associations while failing to see the larger picture.  Such a great country this america has demonstrated itself to be, huh?  And spare me the "if you don't like it, you can leave" bullshit.

It's diappointing that [internationally] people would consider you and I to be similiar in some way.  Don't worry, if you were ever in any sort of trouble in life and I were around, I'd still help you out--because I'm a better person than you.

i've been saying it for a long time, the financing of the US higher education system is going to lead to a systemic collapse of the US.  what happens when credit dries up and financing is no longer available to students to pay these ridiculous college fees?  already many college grads with thousands and thousands of dollars in school loans debt are unemployed.  how long can we keep the charade going?  this thing is going to pop in the US, and those kids.  the ones who are unmarried, without kids, educated (hopefully a vast one that includes being open minded to things like ZH) and swamped by debt I believe will lead this revolution.  the 22-30 year olds is who we should be counting on to lead the charge.

A revolution won't come from the 35 year old + crowd.

a revolution will not come from any 'crowd', it will come from individuals.  Careful not to alienate entire generations with your viewpoints.   There have been many revolutionaries who have worked tirelessly against the State since day one, going directly back to our Founding Fathers and the enactment of our U.S. Constitution, the supreme law of the Republic.  Remember, you stand on the shoulders of giants.

Right now, your calls for immediate violence (such as those half-hearted attempts in Europe) will only empower the State.  This is chess, not checkers.  Are you more valuable in a jail cell or out educating your peers?  Arm yourself in accordance with your Second Amendment rights, and then continue to exercise your First Amendment rights to win the war of ideas.  When the time comes, you will be entirely justified to strike down any aggressors violently.  Until then, patience, my friend.
