Casting Call Arrives: 1999 Party Continues Unabated
Yet another rotation engineered by some Chop House upgrade of the semiconductors, which sent some of the chip stocks into Outer Space. Investors never sell, they just switch from one Keno Table to another, sell one group, and reinvest in another. All part of the coordinated effort to keep the party going.
By the way, anyone here ever date an aspiring actress in Los Angeles? It's pure hell. When they are not working, they are despondent and borderline psycho. Bank account drained while the credit card bills get racked up by continuous weekly manicures, pedicures, Botox injections, hair coloring, clothes shopping, etc.
Unless they are spirited enough to leave their crummy 1-bedroom La Cienega apartment built in the 1940's and fly to Vegas each weekend to be a high end escort, or drive down to Newport Beach to be a waitress at the Gulfstream or something.
But then, out of the blue, they will get a "casting call", and suddenly life is good.
That's what happened today with the semiconductor upgrade, as many of these stocks were in a slump but they suddenly went wild....
Meanwhile, "investors" were taking profits in oil stocks and jamming the proceeds into various junker plays, like near-bankrupt companies such as Sunrise Assisted Living, up 45% today...
Hey, even the skanks like Jeri Ryan get a casting call once in awhile.
