Well, we live in a twisted world when the truth is labelled as "conspiracy" and the real conspiracies are passed around as truth and "news" by the MSM. This is only my second post on here. I've been following you guys for ~6 months and have never come across any media source that speaks more truth to power than this site. I hope you keep it up and my donation is on its way tonight. I wish I could fill a smoky room in the back of a whiskey bar with the people that follow this site because I know for sure that I would feel a certain kinship with you guys that I never feel when I speak with the sheeple in the "real world". Anyone ever think about forming regional groups of people who live in the same geographic region so that we can share a pint over some reality/comedy?? Perhaps I'm being somewhat sentimental but it's a real treat to check out what is posted here at the end of the day. One question----If one is to move one's gold stack from one side of the country to the other would it be prudent to take it on a plane (it is a substantial sum)?

When I started reading this site in early 09 ZH had the distinct vibe of being underground and subversive, sometimes just for the shear hell of it. As time has passed it is astonishing to watch the world outside start to turn (ever so slowly) as ZH has consistently applied pressure where it hurts. Outstanding reporting on FED abuses, Wall Street banking outrages, MBS fraud, PM manipulation, Soverign Debt, market maipulation, etc., etc., has seen the light on ZH weeks or months before the MSM and even Congress begin to grapple with them. Keep up the pressure ladies and gentlemen. Soon real change will begin to occur.
I am a much better educated person than a year ago. A day without ZH truly sucks...
ZH is a mindset, a collaboration of world wide energy, never worried about "pc" and always "on" , watching, observing and listening. To the looters of Wall Street, the fed-heads, pseudo-journalists, opposites of progress (i.e. congress), and short (and wimpy) dictators of the world, the message is, you can run but you can't hide from Zed Hedge.

I found you ZH way back when I was searching for any info on my conspiracy theory that computers were in control. ZH was an early adopter of the HFT millisecond trades that cleared things up for me. Little did I know then that it really doesnt matter what you catch them at , rules only apply to the little guy. As long as money is involved the entity with the most can use you as his mop bucket. I learned oligarchy rules and the american way and Democracy is just another way of saying "yea, I take bribes, I own politicians, pay up or fuck you"
I think that definition will be in Websters next year. lol

The content and contributors are all first rate and my dilema is I spend too much time here and can't get anything else done. Zero Hedge is a good site. All media must submit to a higher form of authority. We are not in living in a world of pure messianic anarchism just yet , and so various departments of state and government are required. Certain boundaries must be respected. Some form of oversight and censorship of the internet is warranted...

Zero hedge is the best site of it's type - period. Even down under in little NZ some of us see the train wreck coming. FYI We still have house prices at 6 to 7 times average income so a world of pain to come. Our Aussie mates, house price wise, are in even worse shape. People started to listen to me during the last quarter of '08 but now it's back to "hope 'n' change". Oh well I tried. At least we, in NZ, produce shit loads of food. So a welcome ZH friends for some duck, bunny, deer, pig and goat hunting in a range near by.... guess what no fees but you gotta carry it out yourself!
