Is A Deluge Of Latent Rape Accusations Against Strauss-Kahn Imminent?

Tyler Durden's picture

A French reader of Zero Hedge steps up and makes the following bold prediction: a "Tiger Woods effect" is now imminent, as many other rape accusations against Dominique  (or will that soon be Demonique?) Strauss-Kahn emerge, since yesterday's rape episode is most certainly not the first time this has occurred (granted, DSK is innocent until proven guilty). "Until now, hes has been bale to fight back allegations by "fixing" the situation through influence and keeping the French press shut up, or by pressuring the women into not getting into a public battle with him." Now this status quo is over, and it is very likely that very soon many more will step up from under the cloak of anonymity and tell their story.

Full prediction:

This is not the first time this has happened. But until now, hes has been bale to fight back allegations by "fixing" the situation through influence and keeping the French press shut up, or by pressuring the women into not getting into a public battle with him.

I wanted to point you to this video:

Short summary:

This young journalist was attacked when she interviewed DSK who made her come to a remote apartment with nothing but a TV, VCR, and bed in it.

He then attacked her and she fought back. He tore off her bra and jeans. She used the words "rape" during the fight to scare him away, but he showed no reaction. She was eventually able to flee, but did not bring charges on the advice of an attorney who showed her a pile of similar cases against DSK but that the other women had decided not to go forward. The lawyer advised her that, if she went forward, she would forever be known as the woman who brought down DSK, not as a journalist.

After the incident and after she had been able to flee, DSK sent her a phone text message, saying' "You fear me, don't you?"

The TV show was a show where well-known people talk about their most difficult professional moments.

When the TV show initially ran, the moments where Banon mentions Strauss-Kahn's name were BLEEPED out. The bleeps have now been removed.

If you dig deeper, you will find much, much more, at every step of his career.
You can break stories and make safe predictions.

I fully expect a Tiger Woods effect if he stays in prison, as other women will then feel sufficiently safe to step forward.

John Waters wrote a film about this a long time ago, called Multiple Maniacs.  Here is an excerpt:

Divine becomes even more crazed upon finding her daughter's body hidden behind the couch. Just after collapsing, exhausted from the ordeal, a giant lobster (named Lobstora) enters and rapes Lady Divine.

In the film, Strauss-Kahn played the part of the rapist lobster.  Talk about history repeating itself, only with fewer lobsters this time.

Shitheads like this at the top of the plutocrat food chain seem to think they have plenary droit de seigneur over the world.

They would have more than ample reason to think that.  Any pretexts of morality and justice died somewhere in the 1980's to early 1990's, depending on your focus.  This is just more of the same, no surprises.  After the revelations about Catholic priest sex abuse in the last decade, should anything be a surprise?  There is a systemic breakdown in both actual morality and credible pretexts of morality.  It won't be fixed.

1980's?

Me thinks you're a few milienia late in your estimate.

The heart of man has always been 'desperately wicked.' It's only a question of those periods when society becomes more permissive (and less punitive) that people like DSK feel 'safe' to act depraved without fear of consequences...

If we want to go down this path, I've a sneaking suspicion that we'd hit 300 names before the hour was up on "top financial players who've sexually exploited / abused other human beings". Add +500 for those who've had it covered up for them [hello, Jeb Bush]. FFS, we have a MSM [blonde reporter] who gets on a plane with a Buffet lunch and gets molested. *Shudder*. Not to mention the entire "grab a hooker from the under-aged Ukranian / East European boat" that multiple financial houses have actioned. Like really.

Actually, being honest... that number is likely to hit epedemic numbers if we all chipped in. That time you were coked up, and she was so wasted she was 'out for the count'... yep, that counts.

I think it's even more basic than that, it's about power.  These guys on the stratospere level of the food chain couldn't spend the money they already have on real things if they tried 24 hours per day.  After the first 50-200 million how can they use it, more cars when they can only drive in one at a time?  Maybe more houses when they only be in one room in one house at a time?  How much food, how many hookers, how much you name it can anyone use?  After that it is purely about power, approval and self-aggrandizement, with the possible exception of starting an empire to protect family and descendents.  I'll bet if you look at those who operate at that level all of them are have power pathologies. The crime he's charged with fits in with that psychology.

The event's timing does seem very strange in light of what he assumed was about, finally, to happen. Probably he was so convinced of his "coronation" that he felt immune to any law.

"Each time, the Straus-Kahn target was to exchange US dollars for new money, and dissolve US debt in new and printable fiat paper money. recycling wealth from the few capital surplus countries to the OECD debtor countries, headed by the US but including all EU27 states and Japan. From mid-year 2010 the European PIIGS crisis only got worse, as US debt also worsened, forcing Strauss-Kahn to shelve public airing of his pipedreams and concentrate on saving both the euro and the dollar. The role of recycling and siphoning capital surpluses from smaller players with big holdings, starting with the Arab petro states and small island tax haven states, became more important than ever, as remarks by Strauss-Kahn and variable geometry allies and friends like George Soros, at the 2011 Davos Forum suggested to observers able to cut through the counter-noise. Likewise the role of SDR allocations and plans for radically increasing the production or issuance of SDRs most surely placed Strauss-Kahn in private conflict with very big players, starting with the US and China. The latest plan was almost ready for launch, 14 May. Federal officials invited Strauss-Kahn to New York, arranged the hotel and travel, and set the agenda for a final review before going public on Strauss-Kahn's last plan to roll US debt into European debt, in which the Federal Reserve, and all its State banks, as well as European central banks would disappear. We know what happened, next."

As i speculated this morning on a previous thread:

Until it becomes known that this is a patten of behavior for DSK. And the IMF looked the other way, because the German and French banks came before everything and everyone else.

All subordinated to the banking interests. After all without confidence in Banks, we don't have a functioning world.

Collateral damage be damned.

How will this be fixed? Look for the French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde to be named as the head of the IMF in the next week.

Naming a woman to the head post helps mitigate (in perception ONLY) the damage that the rich powerful MALES covered for one of their own.

I agree with you DoChen.  I mean, the whole point of this thread is to show that this freak has an established pattern of deriving sexual pleasure from terrifying young women; hence the "do you fear me" text message.  You don't get the same fear from a paid escort unless you are at the point of killing her - otherwise it's all part of the paid game.  Attacking a target of opportunity on the other hand, is exactly what a sexual predator does.  To me this DOESN'T stink of a conspiracy. I think this villianous POS just got caught in the act.  Let me add sincerely that I am glad to hear that your wife moved on from the IMF before this animal took the lead.

DoChen,

Occam's Razor applies as long as the prosecution call produce all the physical, DNA, witness, and video evidence that should exist to support their claim.

Unfortunately, investigative journalism has become about as useful as used toilet paper for gathering and presenting facts, and it is in neither the prosecution's nor the defense's interests to expose their cards before a trial.

I think the perception that the incident was "too stupid" to believe comes from someone with no experience in Paris.  Whether innocent or guilty remains to be seen, but in Paris one can go much farther in an unwanted approach than in the US.  Here even a few words can ruin a career.  In Paris a rich man has to rape the wrong women, and he rarely does that. The mind set is different.   Listen to the reporter in the video:  She speaks as though this is just a type of politician, another one of those obsessed "with chics."  It was no doubt only a bit more aggressive than a few other approaches from famous subjects of her journalism.

There's two stories here:

#1 Sexual slur (HELLO MR ASSANGE!) -- utilised to smear opponents. However, TPTB have large [CIA / KGB 50+ practice] at this, and it is hardly ever this crude; it usually plays out a lot more subtle / smeary.

#2 Smack my Bitch up - sometimes, when you're that out of it... you think that maid is the hooker you ordered, but it turns out the hooker got caught in traffic.

The bottom line is: he (apparently) ditched most of his personal effects [phone etc] and got on an immediate flight. Now, this might be CIA spooktastic spin, but.. hard to fake. (CIA isn't the only agency able to trace the phone in that time frame. Shit, I can.. if I just... knew... his.. number).

If he was a serious spooky dude, three things:

#1 Get myself diplomatic immunity, bitch

#2 Learn how to charter private flight to Mexico / Canada then flee, bitch.

#3 Jump into an embassy [poor man's option; largely dependent on willingness of country to take shit for you]

He did none of those; likely he lost his shit totally, and really did do a mental mouth fuck. Apart from that, he was obviously high / not a pro.

Pay attention.  Last week's article about Ireland stated explicitly:

The IMF offered Ireland a deal where about 50% of outstanding debt would restructure (default) and the rest would have to be paid via austerity.  The Ireland Finance Minister said "You have saved Ireland!" almost in tears.  Only hours later Timothy Geithner was on the phone to the IMF to veto any such arrangement.

Repeat after me.  IT's ALL ABOUT THE SWAPS AND IT'S NOT ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE.

When you hear the word "disruption", think swaps.  When you hear the word "contagion" think swaps.

DSK May Have Done Nothing.  He very likely was willing to accept swap triggering defaults from either Greece or Ireland and that was going to take the system down.  He Had To Be Removed.

I also wonder how many billions you could get as a corporation or nation by forking over a couple of sex-slaves to be abused or however the pandering went. That makes me wonder what they have on the Bernank and others that would lead him to dole out so much on such absurdly illogical reasoning.  If you think about it it would explain a lot of things that make you just scratch your head wondering.

Actually it is not about the swaps. CDS on most peripherals already trade well wide of cash bonds, and due to daily variation margin even a continent-wide event of default has truly been priced in from a liquidity standpoint. Unlike Lehman, when GUCs traded from 80 to 8 in one day forcing unseen daily collateral calls, in the case of the PIIGS the irony is that default will actually result in a higher settlement level than prevailing prices, thus, paradoxically, cash would flow to the sellers of protection.

Sorry, but swaps are no longer the black swan.

Sun, 05/15/2011 - 23:15 | Link to Comment CrashisOptimistic

I am going to disagree, though we won't be able to resolve it.

There is no transparency on this issue.  The almost pathological fear of default at ANY amount for senior bondholders can't be justified any other way.  Pure security holdings could not explain the fear evidenced by completely adamant refusal of EU negotiators to permit any level of restructuring.  A restructuring is a swap trigger.  That simply has to be meaningful.

The relevant parties could have unwound their positions by now, be they sovereign swaps, swaps on bank debt or simply outright holdings of Greek bonds of any kind.  They could have unwound by now and there would be no reluctance to allow restructure . . . if they could.

My conclusion is the swaps are so pervasive, in a non transparent way, that the Lehman effect of refusal to execute overnight lending with counterparties would trigger.  It is the absence of transparency as much as the magnitude of liquidity in play that compels terror.  And I strongly suspect the terror is encouraged by the banks.  They tell Merkel and Sarkozy that there must be no default or German/French banks will be destroyed, and their economies subsequent.

This keeps the EU tax money flowing into the bank coffers through the Greek (Irish) conduit.

the contention is that a financial system lock up will not be due to CDS (of which the notional on the PIIGS is so small as to be laughable - check DTCC), but to other downstream, and far more traditional, aspect, most likely shadow banking - read money markets and commercial paper. in other words, no need to evoke mysterious sounding objects to validate a system halt: good old simple concepts are more than sufficient.

Whoa. Thanks for the Group of Thirty link.

This list of members reads like a who's who of representatives from many powerful countries and elite institutions around the world.

In situations like this, I prefer to go back to my 1936 Merriam Webster Collegiate dictionary, 5th edition, written before the language was completely corrupted by propagandists:

"con-spir'a-cy, n. 1. Act of conspiring; combination for an evil purpose; a plot.  2. A general tendency, as of circumstances, to one event.

Syn. Conspiracy, plot, intrigue, machination.  A conspiracy is a combination, usually secret, of persons for evil or unlawful ends. Plot stresses more the idea of a carefully devised and secret plan or contrivance for mischievious or treacherous ends.  Intrigue usually implies more complicated scheming than plot, and more petty or under-hand dealings.  Machination (usually in pl.) emphasizes the craft and tortuous processses of plotting."
