we have to remember that chinese only controls website in china, not anywhere else.  They have been controlling their people for thousands of years. all these talks about china controlling the world has no basis whatsoever.  take a good look at the history and reality, you see English colonies, French colonies, spanish colonies, you have never seen a single chinese colony.  They brainwash all chinese people to love their motherland, and they teach them to go home all the time.  Their largest entertainment is to sing a song to glorify the central communist party on TV.  all these worry about chinese dominance of the world is nonsense.  There is a large foreign currency reserve, true.  It is due to large trade surplus with US and other countries.  They cannot do anything about the foreign currency but to buy treasuries and commodities. They can stop buying treasuries, and I guess that will screw the US.  Other than that, they don't have the balls to do anything different. But they do have a large population of skilled labor force, and this large labor force is a large asset for the country.

I didn't think I glorify the chinese in any meaningful way. The chinese is really good at small muscle activity.  That's why they assemble all the iphones and ipad. you don't see an apple assembly line in midwest states here, do you ?

the main point I was making is that they are the real paper tigers, and they only worry about themselves being in control.

Thanks for the realistic appraisal of the China situation.  I believe you're right to say the Chinese leadership is mostly talk and bluff when they're dealing with the world outside their borders. They're dictators balancing on the back of a tiger that'll eat them alive if they stop delivering jobs to their people.
