Did Former Richmond Fed President Broaddus Just Give The Go Ahead For QE3?

Tyler Durden's picture

While Bill Gross may be ignored, what a former Fed chairman is saying may be a just a little more important

Now what?

(and no, his first name is not Calvin).

QE Trillion-plus4 won't do squat. This isn't a fix, it's a waste of time.

How about tearing down the Multitude of Ponzi's that surround everyday life in the USA and around the globe. Break them up, let the pain be released and then let the building of a better tomorrow begin.

If you don't take they pain, you'll never have actual gains in the future.

However more pain will undoubtedly hit the poor middle class unless they revolt.

Then the pain may be felt more to the upper-crusties!

'they' did not call in "inflation" when housing prices were going up. now 'they' want to call it "deflation" when housing prices are going down.

it is another bit of crookery to help banks and another type of this generation screwing the next generation by demanding the next generation overpay for housing in order to bail out/subsidize the overpay that this generation made on its housing.

just let the thing go and settle out. they are too big to fail so when they do fail, nationalize the banks. start over. what we have now is crazy. and a big lie.

    Nah, he's 'former.'

The Bernankio has his plans...I mean orders, firmly in place.

Besides, Fisher, who is not 'former,' wasn't paid much heed anytime he called for rate hikes or the risk of inflation.

Bernank said deflation is no longer a risk yesterday. While he's a criminal through and through, that statement was actually true (inflation is rampant), he's not going to change that statement or his policy now - not for a long, long time.

Bill Gross either lied or is bleeding out at present, while the Squid & JPM are loaded to the gills with every ultrashort vehicle known to the history of derivative markets, with beach chairs and pina coladas, watching everything burn.

these peole are nuts, we are never going to get out of this mess without a real bout of deflation to clear the slate. they have it exactly wrong. any decrease in prices year over year they consider bad, so we are stuck in an endless increases in credit and money supply which leads to eventual collapse. I have no idea why these people think they are smart. TO be honest I think they know they are wrong, but it's what the bankers (masters) demand so they give it and try to spin it off as being a good thing.

They aren't nuts, nor dumb. What they are are very smart criminals. If you'll notice, all this mess they've created transfers the title to more and more assets to the Fed's balance sheet (and to the other banks) each and every day.

It will only stop once they own it all, completing the current cycle of destruction in order to ensure dependency upon their rule. What's nuts is all those who can see this, yet still support the system as being necessary.

    Icebergs ahead!

Federal reserve has talked "caution" and "slowing" regarding monetary easing.

White Star Line interprets these signals as "full steam ahead" and "brace for impact".

It's just an iceberg. They can out-run it.

I love you guys. When is the poop gonna hit the fan for  the Gods Sake!!

Its been a year now sense my Construction company collapsed and I'm getting bored. The cool 9 dollar an hour job at Val-Mart is getting boring, I can only plot to take it over so many times in a day, snipers on the roof secure the front entrance from the zombies and all. All the cool Weekly World News, Stars and Arnold's baby shit is getting mind numbing, its amazing what the masses read. ( Where is Bat boy when you need him)

O cool the GF wants to go buy some PM's.  I think I have collected enough cans to get a O-Zee of silver  and may be some weed, watching a slow train wreck gets mighty boring sober.

    Hugs and kisses

Getting stoned. At least you have a plan.

The rest of those shmucks, not so much.

Sleepwalkers in a mine field; they won't be awake enough to know they've just been blown to rat shit.

We got about 2 months until feeder corn runs out. It was late planting due to weather and everything in texas went to shit and new mexico is having horrible time. So get some 12 to 18 dollar corn and watch for plummeting chicken and hog prices that turn into astronomical prices.

It's going to get real ugly up in here. Ever see a reporter gulp when he says 2 and a half to 3 weeks of NO feed corn.

No he didnt , he is a stooge being wheeled out to try to stem the sell off. Theres going to be alot of this. QE isnt coming back until the S+P is at 1000 and oil 75. And the resulting high will be lower than the years so far. The back of this market has been broken.  Follow gold price.

If the market continues down, they will implement QE3.
