EURCHF Prints Fresh All Time Low As European Deposit Flight To Safety Accelerates

Tyler Durden's picture

And once again, all of Europe is dumping its deposits in Switzerland, running away from domestic banking centers, and making the lives of Hungarian CHF-denominated debtors a living hell. The EURCHF just hit an all time low of 1.3066. The Bank intervention sonar just went apeshit as both the BoJ and the SNB are fully expected to intervene at any moment.

I guess once the currency collapses I'll have to pay the prostitutes in beatings.

From what I understand, during a currency collapse, health care products like tampons, pads, and toilet paper can get you one heck of a hummer.  And no, I don't mean a gas guzzler.  There will be guzzling, but oil products will not be the drink of choice.

Your question assumes you're (financially/materially) better off than the pros working the streets. We're all prostitutes. The only thing in question is the price. :>)

I guess my joke was a bit over the head there.  I meant to give them a "shot of protein" through a meat injection, if you catch my drift?  Not that I am going to be monetarily rich.

I understood completely. Did you get my meaning about working for the same "protein"? It works both ways....so to speak. "Desperate (wo)men do desperate things" was all I was saying, not that you would actually be....um.....working. :>)

Yes, I know the Fed is throwing tax dollars into the stock market. Yes I know we are going to see a green Dow all at the expense of the poor Dollar. How long can they keep this up? When is it game over?

That is the million dollar question.  CAN they keep this up is a question I think we all know the answer to--nothing lasts forever.

Less than 9 points and we go green (and we are currently up over 10 points from the low).  I have faith that the Fed's will still pump this market to unsustainable levels so that we continue to see this massive swings in a day (I do not think it is all algo based swings as opposed to Fed intervention in the stock markets).

Let's see, the Swiss have not had a war in centuries and became as rich as Croesus and then recently gave women the vote with the concomitant result of electing touchy feely types, now their gold is gone and they're probably thinking about invading eastern Europe to get their Francs back...reminds me of early 20th century USA, would't be surprised to see corrupt douchebag Barney Frank type Canton Meisters around the corner...
