Despite Bloomberg calling the vote in favor of G-Pap, it seems the immediate response in the EURUSD is to dump the euro currency:

SPY up though
The S&P may be interesting tomorrow...I'm confident ;-)
Too much build up going into the event, we'll see how the unions react in the coming days.
SPARTAAAAAH it isn't
Ah, let there be light, let there be EUR/USD 1.45! These infidels must first scatter. Then we will see the light!
shennanigans.
The hard vote is the austerity and they know it.
yep exactly. All good to vote for the govt, but do you want your office stormed by the angry mob ... thats a whole different level.
Spike up and now selling the SPY
Oh phew, europe saved for a week.
It's like a car crash victim and the relatives are arguing whether it's ok to leave Uncle Joe on an artificial respirator or to pull the plug.
Either way the euro gets smoked imo
Only someone who hasn't understood this part of the market would write (and with much respect, seriously, I admire your work, you're a guide, an inspiration and most important an information source):
Actually, this makes sense... The more EU bailouts, the more money printing, the less the value of the EUR.
So wait, the more a country borrows the less money they have?
That's one way to look at it. I think Zimbabwe has the highest percentage of millionaires, but only very few of them are "rich"
Yep Zimbabwe has millionaires, sucks that half a loaf of bread costs $500,000 though.
Increasing your liabilities, with no hope of extra income, deflates your net worth.
Yes, if it's a fiat currency with debt attached to it, when it was created. On the other hand, the debt is fraud, so you don't have to pay it. But you need to be awake and smart enough to realize you've been boned to begin with.
eur/usd looks really weak
EUR/USD and ES down, PMs UP UP AND AWAY!
Stawks, bonds, and currency nonsense...all that garbage aside we can be totaly assured of 1 thing, further bailouts means great strength for PM's.
Syntagma Square is remarkably passive about the results of the vote...
June 28 vote next.
Pretty much a non-event.
Whatever happens in Greece will be overwhelmed by the CANSLIM junkies who received the "follow through day" buy signal by Wm. O'Neil of Investor's Riverboaters Daily.
Back to ES ramping tomorrow?
Who knows?
Not without qe.
Time to dump until uncle sugar gives up some mo luv
maybe it was "who no's?"
Robo loves those CANSLIM cups and handle formations painted by the banksters.
eat drink and be merry for tommorrow we may not borrow
No borrow, no budget.
No borrow, no budget.
No borrow, no budget.
And the Rothschilds/Rockefellers/ Kissinger Joo boy's smile...:=)
Take that back... the jews just happen to be the most persecuted race in history... but they are completely innocent of any and all things they have been accused of... got it!?
Innocent riiiight.
They are da chozen. Dey tell us so.
Right, the phony Jews have been expelled from about 100 countries over the past 400 years, however totaly innocent of all accusations and very 'anti semitic' to boot.
I heard that Mark Cuban, Rick Carlisle, Jason Kidd, Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry, and Peja Stojakovic are all Jew Lizards that came together from various parts of the globe to win the Finals for the trophy because Jew Lizards want all the gold in the world. Muhahahahaha!
"the jews just happen to be the most persecuted race in history."
I'm not the one, but I agree..
"Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS."
"wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born King of the Jews?” [Matthew, 2:2-3]"
I won't search more details for you, but you got the Idea.
Most persecuted? How so? Statistically? Or just the atrocity of Hitler?
http://www.google.co.uk/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=jews+the+most+pers...
Timespan easily.
Egyptians -> Various kingdoms pre Saul -> Assyrians -> Babylonians -> Greeks (lesser degree) -> Romans -> Early Christians/Early Catholics post Constantine -> Muslims -> Russia/Slavic areas and Palestinians (look up the 1st Aliyah) -> Nazis -> KKK/White Trash Americans -> modern Antisemites.
Not too many peoples that can list off that many antagonists throughout time.
How do they manage it?
Professional victims.
See, Jews can do anything they want and you cant say anything about it because of 'The Holocaust', nevermind just as many 'others' were killed as well, priests, nuns, gypsies, etc....
Ukrainians...
To be fair they are one of the oldest, if not the oldest communities ( I say communities because being Jewish is both racial and religious ).
Easy to explain.. Really there is about few millions of Jews on entire planet but think about. 26% of all Nobel Price winners are Jews.. Basically it maybe 40-50 million in total but 26% of Nobel laureates? I know, I'm in shock myself.. That's why Jesus was "born" in Israel, you got the Idea?
euro reaction? think gamma hedging. probably too sophisticated for the tabloid snappy comments this blag is used to.
gotcha, ATM not ITM, OTM, yet that alpha... Synthetic, yeah, could explain the currency movement.
Looks like it's scaling back up.
Algos caught at an astable point. Damn feedback loop again.
Oh well, at least now we can concentrate on Italy. Now THAT's going to be fun.
The Ponzi lives! That's all any one cares about...until their living expenses are twice their income
you mean "until our living expenses are twice their income." maybe the problem is we really don't pay them enough?
Hey we're all one big happy Ponzi family these days. Yeah we pay them. So that they won't defect from the Ponzi and cause our banks to implode. And everyone will be fine until they wake up one day unable to afford the cost of living
Selling their now-even-more-rapidly-depreciating euros and buying PMs, no doubt. That is, if there's anything left after the Indians' and Chinese' buying sprees.
Metal, bitchez.
Waiting for the bond market reaction. Pretty sure the EUR will go up in the next couple of days and the game is back to the US with debt ceiling and OT2. Of course, nothing has been solved and the two ballons are getting bigger and bigger until one bursts.
what's the news again? "the country is gone but they voted yes"?
Yes Greece is finished, but voted confidently...about something or other.
Hey Greenie, hows that 'long Euro 146' you were lecturing me about earlier goin for ye?
How 'bout them apples? Take care.
Yes, target for EU has been raised to 1.50 And
S&P 1300 in near term, after "sell the news" is over.
Learn sheepy, learn.. :)))
OH, target has been raised, I see.
Well, oh master trader....wouldnt it have been better to wait until the Euro took a dump before doing your long trade? Smartass?
On BlowHorn Worldwide, a criminal syndicate Wall Street banker was just calling for 1360 on the S&P. Crackpipe vapor dream!
doubt anything (including S&P) achieves its target ... just close enough to keep you there and then .....
This is exactly why Banks wanted to Own Governments.
Who else would actually enforce their ownership of stolen assets?
Somali warlords?
Nothing will change until bullet holes appear in skulls.
I'm confused... so this basically means that no matter what happened the EUR/USD was going down and it was only the severity of the sell-off that was in question here?
It was a bull trap, Asia was selling yesterday, but US traders...I dunno, a panic buyup, so it's a another bulltrap.
Everyone knows Greece has partially defaulted, if not a full default in the coming months. Also, they (Greeks) have got to send the country in a extreme recession to pay the interest to the banks holding Greek debt... and you really think a million+ Greeks are gonna buy into that, nope protest and riots. I would also be watching the rest of EZ, even Germany for backlash.
Germans hate high oil prices and a higher EUR. It's on.
bingo
And this was just the easy vote, the one that matters is the austerity vote.
WOW...It must be news worthy if moves are now reported on a tick chart!!
HFT's all over the EUR...looks ominous
G-pap must be hoping and praying brother Hu comes through with some BS about buying Greek crap before the weekend.
All Right! Lets get Goofy (BIS) STyle! Oh don't frog)et the ECB! Yen.
