The capstone of a free society, "Rule of Law" is officially dead.

It is all show and no go. Sure the Federalies may take down a few little fish to justify their existence, yet the Big Fish are strictly either no-touch or a catch-and-release situation. Anyone who lived in Florida in the 80's knows how they 'handled' the Big Fish drug dealers (read: they went free and clear).
Here is how the scam in Florida works:
Big Fish alert the Florida authorities on the Small Fish competition muscling in on their action. The Florida law comes down hard on the Small Fish. Of course the Federalies makes sure the media makes a big headline slash, etc.
Result:
The Big Fish now have fewer competitions and swim free and clear.
