Follow The Lethal Oklahoma Tornado Supercell Live

Tyler Durden's picture

It may not be directly related to finance or theft via financial innovation, but for anyone who has not turned on The Weather Channel, there is currently a super cell of Tornados impacting Oklahoma state and nearing Oklahoma City, where at least one F5 Tornado is rumored to have touched down and 2 people have died. Follow the livestream of what can only be classified as the sequel to Twister below.

In a quasi related way, I think it's funny when they interview the mayors of these shit towns and there all like "we'll get through this and rebuild and be stronger than ever."  I'm thinking "of course you will asshat, FEMA's going to roll in and shovel money into your town and all of your residents are going to collect on their insurance and rebuild.  Meanwhile, in my boring city that's never had a disaster, we pay for the rest of you bastards to have brand new buildings, all the while our historical society gets it's pantys in a bunch every time someone even mentions tearing one of the old dumpy buildings down.

Rant over.  Thanks.

frank this is truly horrible and most serious.  lost lives and damaged property is not to be taken lightly although many do just that.

the "unusual" weather patterns are not by chance.  all these events are planned to make the u s of a a third world country.  see the vids on yt where "officials" told the people in to-be-flooded areas along the mississippi they were packing to leave and NOT come back.

once we all live in shacks and mud huts eating irradiated fish heads and rice, the "leaders" will be happy.

That is true. But have you ever considered that it is intended this way to make scapegoating easier? The "jews" are compartmentalized as are most in society. Do you honestly think the curtain-be-hinders would have catholics micro managing the operations at that level, effectively turning the pyramid upside down? It doesn't work that way.

Come on! Please don't tell me you're falling for this nonsense, too. Look, you make it seem like some kinda conspiracy, when it's not. It's not at all. Look at all the alternative media outlets: drudge (jew), michael savage (jew), john stewart (jew), alex jones (married a jew), jesse ventura (jew), wikipedia founder (jew), and on and on. Does that sound like a conspiracy to you?  You're telling me the leading conspirators are themselves in on the conspiracy, that's ludicrous!

Next you're going to tell me that the jews own all of hollywood and create the culture for the stupid goyem demolishing their cultural heritage. Yeah, right, like that's happending. Yeah, like they're really trying to erase all of our cultural ties to our ancestors and divide us up so they can easily conquer us, yeah, right. I got a bridge to sell ya :)

Then you're going to say that all the major players of the federal reserve are jewish, like ben bernank (jew), alan greenspan (jew), in fact, Jews have headed the FED for the last 26 of the last 35 years. But that's because they're very, very talented at finance!

Yeah, they may own almost all of the news outlets and news papers, but really, all the information is going online; hello, no need for newspapers anymore, got internet?

And yes, in the protocals of zion, it goes over step-by-step on how to bring a nation to financial ruin through the use of capital:

"Economic crises have been produced by us for the GOYIM by no other means than the withdrawal of money from circulation. Huge capitals have stagnated, withdrawing money from States, which were constantly obliged to apply to those same stagnant capitals for loans. These loans burdened the finances of the State with the payment of interest and made them the bond slaves of these capitals"

But we all know very well that the protocals of zion is a total absolutely functionally hoax. Read it yourself and you'll see how bad of a hoax it is.

While I applaud people that are trying to uncover this over arching 'conspirarcy', enough is enough. Let's acknowledge people for their talents, not their noses.

Enough with the racism!!

Insurance is starting to come around after some wrangling. Their first settlement offer was insulting, but my general contractor has gotten them to agree to pay more than double what they initially offered. I don't need help from FEMA. Local churches sent 50 people unannounced to my cul de sac the first Saturday and did over $10,000 worth of tree work for me. My point is that we don't need big government to take care of what strong communities do for those in need. I must say, the love and community here in Alabama has purged a lot of cynicism from my soul . . .

We had 11,000 homes damaged and about 2000 made uninhabitable from the flooding in Nashville last year. FEMA issued payments of up to $27k for individuals homes as well as money for hotels and to cover some losses to renters. There were also small business loans made available.

Almost everyone affected in Nashville was not in a flood plain and thus not required to buy flood insurance. Everyone should make sure tornado damage is covered if there is any history of tornado damage in your area. That might affect how FEMA compensates individuals suffering tornado damage vs unprecidented flooding where most are not covered for floods, but I'm not sure.

Very interesting thread, the idea that the side show is being maintained

until the shit hits the fan seems to be growing.

This short video displays the possibilities of sheet metal and iron bits of stuff.

I would be really nervous if I lived in the midwest right now. These storms have been coming through Calif on a much smaller scale. And blowing up when they hit the midsection. We are predicted rain in Cali tomorrow. Nervous to see how that blows up when it hits the middle. We almost never get rain this time of year.

It's been one of the coldest springs here. Normally we are hitting 100. Right now we are scraping 70deg.

This is going to cost of lot of money to fix.

Our town is on edge.  The police had a secret email to be on the highest alert tonight as it is expected to be the worst night of hail and tornadic activity to date.  Once police man's wife sent this "secret" email on to her friends and quickly went viral.  Needless to say the authorities are not happy with the cop and her wife.  I for one don't understand why the public shouldn't get the same notice. It's my right to panic if I want and exactly what are the government officials so worried about.  I just won't let my family sleep upstairs and will be on  alert.  Why hide this info?  It's totally wreckless to keep the public in the dark about this sort of thing.   They can't protect me but they also don't want me taking precautions either.  Unbelievable.

The largest tsunami in recorded history was in Lituya Bay, Canada, 1958. An earthquake measuring 8.3 on the Richter scale caused 40 million cubic metres of rock to fall into the sea. A wave more than half a kilometre high was created that surged through the bay devastating all in its path.

In response to the Canary Islands scenario, I believe people who buy into it are ironically uninformed about waves and tsunamis. Tsunami's develop from a massive displacement of water deep under the ocean. Millions of tons from the Canary Islands collapsing will produce a huge wave, but it's a different type of wave from a tsunami wave. It will initially be massive, but will die out after at most a few miles. Tsunami's caused by earthquakes start small and end big, this is the opposite. I'd be more worried about other things than the Canary Islands at this point.

Thank you for your concern, TheSto.

As a long-time Florida resident I have weathered many Hurricanes, a few Tornadoes, and the occasional flooding from torrential rains associated with them. As a Utilities worker in the lower ranks of management, I have made it my business to be aware of potential hazards associated with low probabilty / high impact natural disasters. Man-made ones too.

It is part of my job, you see.

There is nothing paranoid, or "Doomy" about it, it's just part of the job.

While the case can be made for optimistic projections, experience has taught me to be more circumspect.

If only our friends in Japan had planned for what turned out to be a truly worst-case scenario, perhaps they could have avoided the situation they now face. But it is too late for that now, isn't it?

Rest assured, if you are a resident of the U.S. your tax dollars are safely spent for wars, Granny's pills, and bailing out failed bankers.

NO level of government shares my opinion on these matters. I know this because i've been there for some of the meetings. You are on your own, my friend. Until after the fact, that is.

Forgive me for taking steps to ensure my own safety, and I heartily encourage you to do the same.

Good luck.

Yes, though it's been a particularly violent season.  Big difference between a twister that removes a couple of roofs and windows versus one scouring entire blocks of houses from their concrete slabs.

Ten deadliest tornadoes in U.S. history

1. Mar 18, 1925 Missouri/Illinois/Indiana; 695 dead

2. May 6, 1840 Natchez, Mississippi; 317 dead

3. May 27, 1896 St. Louis, Missouri; 255 dead

4. April 5, 1936 Tupelo, Mississippi; 216 dead

5. April 6, 1936 Gainesville, Georgia; 203 dead

6. April 9, 1947 Woodward, Oklahoma; 181 dead

7. April 24,1908 Amite, La./Purvis, Miss.; 143 dead

8. May 22, 2011 Joplin, Missouri;  122 dead, up to 1500 still missing

9. June 12, 1899 New Richmond, Wisconsin; 117 dead

10. June 3, 1953 Flint, Michigan; 115 dead
