The teleprompter is expected to prompt stuff about the debt ceiling or something or another momentarily. Nobody really knows or cares. Readers can follow it here.

IMF Urges U.S. Debt Ceiling Increase to Avoid ‘Severe Shock’

Why are his eyes so discombobulated? Is the teleprompter not properly focused?

His speech is also impaired. More so than usual.

But I already see where this is going: MORE TAXES.

The guy holding the Teleprompter in Chief is shaking with uncontrollable laughter...

Look at Obama, or Bush I or II, or Clinton, or Nixon, or Truman...

...what do you see?

American ineptness, not exceptionalism is what we should all see.

And I'm not talking about the aforementioned presidents but the sad reality that has become the mass psyche of the American Populace.

C'mon, we all know that it's true.

I often lash out bitterly and angrily, while commenting on how the criminals have taken over the institutions of our government, and this true. But I should always add the caveat "because we let them."

Some will argue that it was predetermined that the criminals would have taken over, and they would have cited the creation of the 3rd central private bank of the United States, the non-Federal Reserve, in 1910 (legally recognized in 1913) as a prime example.

This is a good rebuttal. But we've had a long time and the words and warnings of many knowledgeable people with integrity to reflect upon this type of malfeasance, yet we've done nothing about it, collectively.

I see Amerika, once known as America, definitely continuing down that rich man-poor man path that all Empires ultimately seem inclined to take.

The road less traveled would mean a lot more short term pain, sacrifice and stress, but it would possibly restore some integrity to the system and refocus our children on the good, productive and truly useful side of capitalism and free markets - but it would mean a bitter, bloody fight that I just don't think many Americans are up to the task for.

On top of all of this, any such revival would require a true leader to shake Americans from their slumber and motivate them and remind them of what we are letting slip through our grasp, and who and where is this person?

Where? Who?

A Lunatic's picture

Could the road less traveled occur instead in the form of a shadow economy full of American individuals who choose to opt out of a dying system?

Awaken them?!?!?  Its a lot harder to rob them if they are made wise to the game.

Obama, Bush, Clinton, ... it really doesn't matter....

They are figureheads, the real power is in the central banks.

Obama deserves whatever award the Devil bestows on liars committing murder and terrorism.

human junk could he be anything else being a progressive (closet Marxist) by ideology, a lawyer by training and a bankers rent-boy by career choice ...get ready for a tele prompted stream of trash

weinerdog43's picture

If you had a clue, you'd know he is not a Progressive.  Further, Progressive is not the same as a 'closet Marxist' whatever that is.

But since it is obvious you don't have a clue, please go back to your regularly scheduled Fox program so you have something to occupy your tiny mind.

Zero Govt's picture

Weinerdog - what a wonderful specimen of the ignorant American electorate you are. You're not clued up to Obummas radical left beliefs reading that sugary piece of shit, his autobiography you know?

Obumma was one of Saul Alinsky’s (a 60's radical leftie loon) most prominent followers and admirers, never knowing him personally, but a practitioner of his methods. Alinksky's book, ‘Rules for Radicals’ – a book he dedicated to Lucifer is all about deception, the goal to destroy the American system of Govt by any and all means. Alinsky gathered his dumb-arsed followers with the “social change” adage while Obumma used 'Change You Can Believe In'

Alinksy was a Chicago community organiser, in fact "the father of community organizing". Obumma was a Chicago community organiser.

In a letter to the editor of The Boston Globe published on August 31, 2008, Alinsky's son David gushed about how well Obama had learned his father's teachings. He wrote, "The Democratic National Convention had all the elements of the perfectly organized event, Saul Alinsky style. Barack Obama's training in Chicago by the great community organizers is showing its effectiveness. When executed meticulously and thoughtfully, it is a powerful strategy for initiating change and making it really happen. Obama learned his lesson well."

Ryan Lizza reported in The New Republic, "When [Obama] announced his candidacy for president last month, he said the 'best education' he ever had was not his undergraduate years at Occidental and Columbia or even his time at Harvard Law School, but rather the four years he spent in the mid-'80s learning the science of community organizing in Chicago." Obama has repeated this comment in several stump speeches.

At the heart of the Alinsky method is the concept of 'agitation' - making someone angry enough about the rotten state of his life that he agrees to take action to change it; or, as Alinsky himself described the job, to 'rub raw the sores of discontent.

Obumas connections with radical fruitcakes include America-hating Reverend Jeremiah Wright, unrepentant terrorists William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn and Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan. Obumma has also filled his 52 Czar (crony) positions with a nice collection of radical lefties and communists not to mention a key sponsor, lifetime socialist George Soros.

By "closet Marxist" i mean progressives believe in communism by progressive (where they get their name) steps. Baby steps (subtle un-noticed deceipt) toward communism rather than an all-out revolution. Progressives have gained control of Comgress before, they left the same fuking bankrupt shambles behind their ignorant worthless ideological arses as will be Obummas assured legacy

There's more to fill the vast vacuum between your ears (a lefty genetic trait) but go Google you lazy toad and do some research (work) for once

I love how Obama continues to say that Republicans want to gangbang the poor, despite the fact that the disparity between the rich and poor only gets larger on his watch.

dexter_morgan's picture

the best defense is a good offense........and he is offensive for sure.

weinerdog43's picture

Yes, Barry is a scumbag, but if you think Miss McConnell and the other Repugs are looking out for our best interest, you're delusional.

dexter_morgan's picture

Didn't say that at all, but how nice of you to jump to the defense of the scumbag via an offensive and illustrate my point. The rich get richer and the poor poorer under both current faces of the same party, just faster when the demoncrats have control. Doesn't mean the republicans are a lot better, just kind of like the tallest midget type of thing.

Keep hoping for that change though.

You know, there really is such a thing as the lesser of two evils in politics... and it's on full display in the American model of divide and conquer democracy. Regarding the poor and middle class, he is the lesser of two evils, by a mile... IMHO (how many Democratic Governors or Presidental hopefuls were slinking out of town last weekend to attend the Koch Brothers retreat... not sure about you, but I'm thinkin' help for "the poor" and the middle class wasn't at he top of the agenda).

I bet that any minute now, Obama is going to announce some type of "Shock and Awe" stimulus plan.

It is the only explanation for the epic ramp in cyclical stocks today:

X up 6%

AKS up 5%

FCX and HAL up 4%

I only invest in things I can feel if dropped on my foot

LOL.  That about sums it up for a lot of people now.  And rightfully so.  Although if we do go Zimbabwe, there could be some argument for paper along the way.  But, risk/reward is definately a factor there.  Rather, my take is that primary investments are best made in physical form right now.  And I am not talking all metals either!

SheepDog-One's picture

Thats right Blythe. 5 front war, only ramping up in BK USA....this is all fluff for the morons.

I'm with you, except I think it started in 1971.

Actually that sounds rather invigorating. I would hazard to say Ryan Dunn would have done so willingly. Sorry, whenever i think of Obama i think of Jackass for some reason.
