I love how he completely contradicted himself. The War Powers Act was implemented to prevent unconstitutional wars to be waged by the Executive branch and he agrees with the resolution...but Libya isn't a war and therefore he isn't violating the constitution.

I disagree with youur POV because there is no evidence that the wheels are in motion to start the revolt you speak of. 90% of Americans are working and getting along just fine. A president shouldn't have the power to toss people in jail. An independant judiciary needs to do that. Your system is very effective at providing checks and balances. It also makes sure that one man can not to too much good, nor too much bad.

1) More taxes needed - government hungry.
2) More taxes needed - must feed Wall Street.
3) More taxes needed - must feed military-industrial complex.
4) Debt good. Spending should exceed revenue.
5) If Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling, which we all know they will anyways, Wall Street will crush 401(k)/Pension/Retirement accounts, WWIII will erupt, other great calamities will erupt, and an asteroid and/or solar flare and/or meteor shower will knock out cable television for at least one year.
6) We can deal with a 5 trillion per annum deficit, if we need to, and 202 trillion debt, so long as interest rates are really, really low, because that's good for the economy, based on the advice and sage wisdom of Ben Bernanke, who is really a genius when it comes to the economy and monetary policy.
7) The unemployment rate and inflation may rise significantly between now and November 2012, but both should drop off immediately after I'm re-elected, and I'll balance the budget by 2013 and wipe out the national debt the final year of my 2nd term, when the unemployment rate will be 1.23% and inflation will be less than 1%.
8) and the sun will shine out of my Presidential banker-puppet arse if you're stupid enough to believe a single trigger word i'm saying
