Here is why it took a week to announce this.
We get the cat a week ago in a predator strike.
The Rangers who were the FAC for the predator strike then have to hump across a shitty mountain region, taking time not to get shot to hell on the way and retrive the body. Then those same Rangers have to hump back out to the nearest exfil site WITH A BODY. That takes time.
Then you have to make it from the Xfil to the base, the base to the airfield then fly the half a bazillion miles back to the USofA from Asscrackistan. Its a long fucking flight. Then you have to pay a bunch of CIA guys to test the body to make sure it is a DNA match. Then you have to get the info through the DOD and make sure we don't let go any classified info, and THEN you can announce it to the American populace at large.
