Forex Megadroid and GridBot Players Decimated

RobotTrader's picture

Things are really getting out of control now, as the "V-Shaped Recovery" vs. "Great Depression II Bust" macro strategies are now being daytraded on a 5-minute chart by the fast-triggered 19-year old chart monkeys now in charge of billions under management at the biggest fund firms, endowments, foundations, etc.

Witness the parabolic move in bonds last night as yields and stock futures plunged ahead of the McJobs report.  All the 300:1 "watch the money roll in" Forex traders were positioning for an epic breakout in the dollar and an utter collapse in risk currencies.

Sure enough, once the horrid numbers were released this morning, the Euro crashed, gold plunged, stock futures cratered, as the Bucket Shop boys let their retail clients load up on margin for the inevitable "deflationary bust".  No sooner than they were loaded up, the Bucket Shop managers turned the tape and the Euro skied, gold ran up $20 in 15 minutes, and the dollar started to fail.

Needless to say, the Forex Megadroids and the GridBots were wiped out in the first hour of trading.

Such is the way of life in the Wall St. jungle ruled by the Skynet Robots.

Seems as if the life or death of the quadrillion dollar derivatives ponzi pyramid and the world economy at large is now entirely dependent upon the trading action in the XLF:

Also note how "Da Boyz" made a stand right at the 50-day:

At this point, its really up to the O-Team and Bernanke, Geithner, LLP to see if they are going to use more "unconventional methods"  to try to goose stocks once again.  On this list are:

Increase the McMansion credit to $15,000 and extend indefinitely

Stimulus II ($2,500 checks for everyone)

Stimulus III ($5,000 checks for everyone)

Cash for TV's, Refrigerators, Microwaves, La-Z-Boy Recliners

Newfangled Alphabet Soup programs

More Treasury monetizations

Nationalization of CIT, small regional banks, etc.

Lop a zero off the U.S. Dollar

Who knows???

My vote is for the last choice:  lop a zero off the dollar.   And name the new currency shlomos in honor of BS.

I like the expanded version of your avatar, but why is she wearing a bra and panties? Can't find the totally naked version?

On a different note, thank god the Vampire Squid jumped into the markets today to save what's left of Obama's reputation.

I can only imagine the collapse in the markets once the Messiah was found to be unable to walk on water in Copehagen.

By the way I really love that evil Skynet Robot, any chance we can nominate him for POTUS in the 2012 elections?

Ya know, if you're gonna have a bunch of corrupt and evil individuals running the country, we might as well find the most unfeeling machine possible. I ask you, what epitomizes pure evil better than a Terminator robot.

All hail!

I searched for "pure evil" in the economics/business lexicon, and it didn't seem to be there, sorry. Please try again.

You might like to explore terminology such as "efficiency", "competition", and "profit" when describing Terminator robots.

Obama Exploring Additional Steps to Spur U.S. Economy (Update1)

By Nicholas Johnston

Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama said today’s report of U.S. job losses is a “sobering reminder that progress comes in fits and starts” and that he is considering additional steps to spur economic growth.

“I’m working closely with my economic advisers to explore any and all additional options and measures that we might take to promote job creation,” Obama said at the White House today.

Addressing mainstreet (not newspapers) and a statement on the FDIC situation would be a good start if he could take the time from campaigning for 2012 and the 2016 olympics.

She does have nice eyebrows, as deadhead suggested.  I'm wondering if she more into mojitos or chardonnay.
