Former CIA Analyst Tells Truth About Libya Intervention On CNN, Hilarity Ensues

Tyler Durden's picture

Former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer appeared on CNN and told his lovely blonde and brunette anchors the truth about what is really happening. The hilarious Stepford Wives reaction and the unprecedented cognitive dissonance the ensues is worth the price of admission.

Aliens, time travel, quantum reality control, the Singularity, techno-shamanism, the death of the NWO, and Cosmic Consciousness defeating Satan... it is all starting to come into focus.  2012 is when we will choose between two doors to the future.  I am pulling for it to be an awakening, not just for humanity but for the Universe.  The Matrix is crumbling and all lies and conspiracies will soon be laid bare.

The next generation will wonder how we could not have seen the evil and manipulation of the elites.  Fundamentalists and hippies will lie down together and help each other see through the lies of fascism and socialism.  Puppet strings will be severed, old laws and old money will be like chaff in the wind, consumerism will be seen as a badge of enslavement and willful stupidity, the talking heads will try to herd sheep but the TVs will be off, the surviving elites will scream over their loss of influence but they will be seen as screeching alpha chimps in the zoo.

Vatican international banking dates waaay back and intertwines with ancient phoencian canaanites.

They have a much more obvious connection to the temple moneychanging/banking culture.  Why skip over that for something totally bogus?

This shit is deep and all has to do with the secret societies that govern this planet.  Whether you believe in this or not it does not matter, the fact is it is very real and out in the open for all to see once you take the complacent blinders off.  Banking, politics and religion they are all one in the same.  It only takes a little bit of one's own research to connect the dots.  What you believe is up to you.

i have no info about "just about" every kind of intel getting "filtered thru the vatican intel agency first."  such a protocol is certainly not impossible, and i have no facts which stand againt that.  just my bias, perhaps.  permit me to explain.

Exactly. This guy did the agency's ugly work (I'm a realist, and I know the world is an ugly place, that requires some ugly solutions, when and where it's TRULY required to safeguard the TRULY innocent at times - though this line is blurred and abused with reckless abandon) for years and years.

He then helps build the case that Al Qaeda is not only real, but an existential threat, which helps to form the basis of tragically flawed U.S. foreign policy for the last dozen plus years or so (killing innocent Americans and innocent foreign citizens/non-combatants) in places that just so happen to harbor oil, where pipelines are desirous (Afghanistan), where 90% of the world's heroin is cultivated (Afghanistan), or where a game of post-Cold War dominoes has been unleashed to 're-order' MENA in the absence of the Russian Bear.

So, caveat emptor.

I have found that many people doing bad can marshall good will by sprinkling some truth or popular sentiment into their statements from time to time; the good-willed but not-seeing-the-total-picture crowds love it, and it gives some credibility to the speaker that they aren't really deserving of.

I'll add this little factoid, a few weeks back I heard a "Homeland Security" big wig say that there was maybe 1,000 AlQuida in the whole world...the whole WORLD!  That doesn't mean that there are not 'toughts' and lonely lost boys claiming to be one, but have no clue where they left their Ipads.

BUT...when you stop to think that there are 1.5 BILLION Muslims in the world, and we are creating a Trillion dollar business "fighting' them, it would have made sense to simply put a bounty on their heads...heck 10,000,000 each and we would have been ahead.  It is now a business just like this so called 'war  on drugs'.

Without fear, Westerners have nothing to watch on TV, and unemployment would surely be bigger.

"Ana raicha Al Qaeda" is colloquial for "I'm going to the toilet". A very common and widespread use of the word "Al-Qaeda" in different Arab countries in the public language is for the toilet bowl. This name comes from the Arabic verb "Qa'ada" which mean "to sit", pertinently, on the "Toilet Bowl". In most Arabs homes there are two kinds of toilets: "Al-Qaeda" also called the "Hamam Franji" or foreign toilet, and "Hamam Arabi" or "Arab toilet" which is a hole in the ground. Lest we forget it, the potty used by small children is called "Ma Qa'adia" or "Little Qaeda".

So, if you were forming a Jihadist terror group, would you call yourself, "The Toilet"?

I posted this below, but here it is again:

There are a lot of 'whacky' people making 'whacky' claims about terrorism and such, which only serves as a great tool to lump ALL who QUESTION the official verson of reality as moonbats.

A proper discourse on the whole topic of what's real and what may not be requires a differentiation of the claims made and a look at the supporting evidence -

Is Al Qaeda Fake?

Is Al Qaeda Just a Bush Boogeyman?

Is it conceivable that Al Qaeda, as defined by President Bush as the center of a vast and well-organized international terrorist conspiracy, does not exist?

To even raise the question amid all the officially inspired hysteria is heretical, especially in the context of the U.S. media's supine acceptance of administration claims relating to national security. Yet a brilliant new BBC film produced by one of Britain's leading documentary filmmakers systematically challenges this and many other accepted articles of faith in the so-called war on terror.

"The Power of Nightmares: The Rise of the Politics of Fear," a three-hour historical film by Adam Curtis recently aired by the British Broadcasting Corp., argues coherently that much of what we have been told about the threat of international terrorism "is a fantasy that has been exaggerated and distorted by politicians. It is a dark illusion that has spread unquestioned through governments around the world, the security services and the international media."

...

Terrorism is deeply threatening, but it appears to be a much more fragmented and complex phenomenon than the octopus-network image of Al Qaeda, with Bin Laden as its head, would suggest.

While the BBC documentary acknowledges that the threat of terrorism is both real and growing, it disagrees that the threat is centralized:

"There are dangerous and fanatical individuals and groups around the world who have been inspired by extreme Islamist ideas and who will use the techniques of mass terror ? the attacks on America and Madrid make this only too clear. But the nightmare vision of a uniquely powerful hidden organization waiting to strike our societies is an illusion. Wherever one looks for this Al Qaeda organization, from the mountains of Afghanistan to the 'sleeper cells' in America, the British and Americans are chasing a phantom enemy."

The fact is, despite the efforts of several government commissions and a vast army of investigators, we still do not have a credible narrative of a "war on terror" that is being fought in the shadows.

Consider, for example, that neither the 9-11 commission nor any court of law has been able to directly take evidence from the key post-9-11 terror detainees held by the United States. Everything we know comes from two sides that both have a great stake in exaggerating the threat posed by Al Qaeda: the terrorists themselves and the military and intelligence agencies that have a vested interest in maintaining the facade of an overwhelmingly dangerous enemy.

Such a state of national ignorance about an endless war is, as "The Power of Nightmares" makes clear, simply unacceptable in a functioning democracy.

Great, another jihadi-denying 9-11 conspiracy theorist.

Get your head out of your ass, "TruthInSunshine."

Hamas is real, Hezbollah is real, the Taliban is real, the many Islamist groups known as Islamic Jihad are real, al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades are real, al-Shabaab are real, Lashkar-e-Taiba are real, Jamiat e-Islami are real, the Muslim Brotherhood is real, and al-Qaeda are most definitely real.

The Koran is real, and 14 centuries of Islamic expansion and imperialism, the domination of north Africa and the Middle East, the centuries-long Moorish occupation of Spain, the invasion of France that was halted by Charles Martel, the conquest of the Byzantine Empire and the fall of Contantinople, the siege of Vienna in 1529, and the ongoing Islamization of Europe were and are most definitely real.

Ad hominem attacks notwithstanding (I don't use any drugs - not even Tylenol), why the need to bring up Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. etc. etc.?

You seem angry and disoriented.

The subject you're apparently responding to is my claim that it's possible (and maybe likely) that Al Qaeda, as has been sold, is a fiction, used to scare the masses into agreeing with or at least not vehemently opposing a much larger objective.

Maybe you can focus and compose a responsive and logical response at some point in your life.

why the need to bring up Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. etc. etc.?

Because the idea that al-Qaeda is somehow fictional is nonsensical on its face.  Why would anyone think an Islamist terrorist organization like that could not exist, when there's overwhelming proof that it does, and that quite a few other, similar Islamist organizations also exist, and openly admit to their own existence?

I mean, really.  You need to get some experience with actual Islamists.  They really and truly are out there.

The idea that it's some kind of a "fiction" is the worst kind of blame-the-victim mentality.

Anytime anything happens in the world, a million basement-dwelling Zero Hedge commenters pop up to scream "FALSE FLAG!" and "INSIDE JOB!"

Where did he even get into issues pertaining to the events of 9/11?

The simple premise I stated, that you apparently objected to, was that Al Qaeda was something highly conflated by the U.S. and other governments, and that more precisely, it may even have been created wholecloth from nothing by those governments, for the specific reason of giving domestic constituencies a more palpable external enemy to unite around, thus making the foreign policy actions at the time easier to implement.

Why do you necessarily stray from that core premise when insulting people and throwing out proofless and substanceless rebuttals?

Think about the questions asked on the show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader", then get back to me.

Anything you might not know on that test is either trivial, or you just didn't take the class (I don't know ANYTHING about music).  Some of the difficulty comes from the archaic nomenclature and units.  As a scientist, I know what a tare weight is, but I bet the average person doesn't.  I know from the context that a rod is a unit of distance, but I have no idea what that is, nor do I know the acre-square foot conversion, something they likely had just learned, and something the average person needed to know back then.  The average person probably knew all about grammar when they were in the 5th grade, but has forgotten it by now because it is trivial.

The test is a good one for the age of the students, and it does show that for all the money we spend on education, our students certainly aren't any better than they were back then, but they aren't necessarily much worse either.  Re-write the test to make it more modern and exchange the Kansas history for the history of the child's state and you will find many actually do pass.

How many adults in 1895 could answer the following questions:

1. How many bits in a byte?

2. What is a CPU and GPU?

3. What does the acronym "bit" stand for?    (binary digit)

It is all relative but your point is taken.

I did get the geography question right:

Q. What do you use a river for? an ocean for?    A. To relieve oneself while pretending to be swimming.

Have CIA analysts proven good at strategic analysis over the past 30 years?  They excel at cynicism and narrow focus.  We did Iraq to diffuse the immediate threat to Saudi.  We did Afghanistan to get a foothold on the other side of Iran.  We encourage democracy across north Africa to keep focus there local.  Now we're ready to defend Saudi/Bahrain against the only significant non-preoccupied foe, Iran.  But Schauer's the perceptive one? He's out in the cold.

Somebody's got to sum up the obvious march of policy.  The onslaught of attractive chicks with more lip gloss than Saudi has oil reserves does distract me though.  Simply from a ratings point of view I think cable ought to insert some actual soft-porn clips featuring the lip-glossed babes.  That could be balanced by some ugly but alert experienced chicks who actually know something about the use of force and diplomacy in the furtherance of national power.  A trade off.  Views?
