Former CIA Analyst Tells Truth About Libya Intervention On CNN, Hilarity Ensues
Former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer appeared on CNN and told his lovely blonde and brunette anchors the truth about what is really happening. The hilarious Stepford Wives reaction and the unprecedented cognitive dissonance the ensues is worth the price of admission.

Caught that too. Very telling statement.
Great catch Tyler!!! Priceless!!
Ha! Carry that water you shill! Nice, very nice.
Because, well, bombing dictators until they leave office worked *so* well the last few times it was tried.
"Will Mr. Obama kill enough Libyans to win his unnecessary and illegal war?" By mike (Michael Scheur) Published: April 3, 2011http://non-intervention.com/879/will-mr-obama-kill-enough-libyans-to-win...
That was just sweet. I'm sure that brunette can suck a golf ball through a garden hose.
Thanks to youtube and zh such moments live forever!
Not so. What's to prevent CNN or its parent company from sending in a takedown notice for that? I'd be surprised if that video is up tomorrow.
I think that people here should participate in the Streisand-effect now. Or not, that's just an opinion. Please don't sue me.
Thats OK I uploaded the video myself, if youtube takes it down I'll be glad to repost it.
Somehow, I don't think he'll be on again. I'm surprised that they didn't make "Technical Difficulties" happen to his connection right as he said that "Mr. Paul is correct..."
+ 1
Ron Paul in 2012!
They are paid actors, not journalists. Obviously, somebody at CNN didn't vet Scheuer.
ahh, refreshing.
'a piece of theater.' (e.g. distraction from nucleoeconomic meltdown)
'carrying the water.' (allusion to inculcatory pregnancy?)
nail on head.
Can you believe those magpies?
Not even I can.
"You're just carrying the water for Obama!" I loved that line!
And did you see her hand-on-the-hip body language? Despite her denials, she was doing EXACTLY that! He nailed her, and she KNEW it!
Brilliant. For those who get bored at the beginning, it get's more interesting 2/3rds of the way in.
The Red and Blue Team both love interferring in other people lives, what else defines our fascist and socialist parties better than that? Go TEAMS!
+33 lol the theater has taken a brief comedic twist exposing the idiot bimbos that inform the sheep of their daily news. thanks for posting that
Fool the TV news bimbos once...

The Ministry of Propaganda really came up short on this little episode. They should be able to do much better than these two ass-clowns. This clip will not even convince the ignorant and the decieved.
CNN's Johns Gushes Over 'Incredible,' 'Riveting' Michael Moore Speech By Matthew Balan | March 13, 2011 | 14:15
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matthew-balan/2011/03/13/cnns-johns-gushes-...
Hahahaha, that was fucking brilliant!
"It may fool some Americans."
I don't think the "news-bimbos" as they're being called here are at all dumb.
They're looking for a paycheck, just like anyone else.
If they speak the truth themselves, they will not be getting that paycheck anymore.
They're doing what they were trained to do, probably after taking several years of over-priced college courses for which they have more than a dacade of student loans to pay off.
It's true.. everyone toes the line to a certain degree, because you need a paycheck. The people that don't are the ones with fuck you money, or people who just don't care about money.
I could use the voices of those harpies next time I want to cut paving stones
LOL, Good one!
I wonder why Scheuer didn't ditch his CIA issued facial hair when he retired, and whether he was/is counted on the information or the disinformation side of their ledger.
As much as I dislike Scheuer, I must admit that's about the clearest demonstration of superiority I have seen in a public setting in a long while.
Just curious - why the dislike?
To be as good as he makes himself out to be in that game, one must have a zen like detachment from politics, which he does not, to match the equally required zealous disdain for politicians, which he does. In the absence of knowing him personally, I have to go with instinct. But since he is in the business of information/misinformation it is entirely possible he is better than I think he is, and I would never know it.
I'm not that familiar with Scheuer, and it's tough to judge character on one clip. Knowing, however, that politics must play a part in the CIA just like the "Department of Justice", it's tempting to say that he does see reality, and that his reports probably got "tempered" passing up through the chain of command, before being thoroughly watered down and inverted to support the pre-existing prejudices of those in power at the moment.
You've got to wonder: boots on the ground, involved people with brains see "X" occur, and report accurately on it. Up at regional, the regional chief gets the report, is close enough to see it's true, and knows it won't please HQ. What to do? "Temper" it a little, use weasel words to introduce uncertainty, and pass it up. Multiply by four more levels, and "X" has become "A". "theta" , "aleph" or possibly something Cyrillic my keyboard doesn't provide, if not Klingon.
I cannot believe EVERYONE in the CIA, NSA and various other alphabet-soup agencies are idiots; the good ones give us valid, useful intelligence, and the political hacks give us the Bay of Pigs, Iranian revolution, and so forth.
He's spot-on about the need that many of our politicians have to control other people's behavior; it's almost a requirement to run for office these days. Let us learn to recognize their personalities, so that we quit messing up the world so much by electing them into positions of power.
As in most beaurocratic arenas, it mostly matters who is at the top.
Freakin' double post! sorry about that....
Remember this snotty, combative, openly hostile CNN “journalist” whose coverage of one of the tea parties yesterday was the high water mark for liberal scorn and derision aimed at the tea party movement?
Here’s what CNN didn’t show you.
http://sayanythingblog.com/entry/the_susan_roesgen_tea_party_report_what...
Its little wonder CNN is hemorrhaging viewers.
Oh, and by the way, when CNN and Roesgen was covering an anti-Bush rally in 2006 she wasn’t nearly as concerned about the protesters comparing Bush to Hitler as she was about the tea party folks comparing Obama to Hitler.
Here’s a hint: Both are wrong.
Update: For the record, here’s how Roesgen covers a left-wing rally:
She is lucky that she didn't get the Lara Logan treatment.
She certainly is a supercilious self-important snot, but isn't that what's taught at J schools now? Isn't that why such people get J degrees?
Thanks for putting this up, pauldia. That CNN reporter is sickening.
The clown being interviewed is clearly deranged... throwing the F bomb around while carrying his own 1 yr old... these are the people you support?
btw, CNN cut that part out... you should thank them for being so "fair and balanced"... lol!
That spanking was almost pornographic. Nicely done!
Now THAT was classic.
holy shit....a real dude...
Exactly - the shills are getting harder and harder to find in the CNN rolo-dex
What a pleasant change from all the lies. ty Tyler.
You know he was laughing all the way out of the building after that one. I'm guessing he won't get a call back. It was such a nice ass kicking though.
Wow this was simply brilliant on his part.
"Your only going to fool Americans with this Clinton & McCain with this U.S. led initiative"
Reality meets the mainstream propaganda. Once you have taken the red pill events like these appear as glitches in the Matrix only we can see. These gals were pretty angered at Scheuer not staying on script. The best part was her trying to say he is no fan of the administration and him saying both parties are at fault.
White House talking points for all.
...
I think her water broke...
hate that, when it happens!
best interview in a long time.
Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I simply can't stand watching these bimbos on tv. Most of them dress like hoes, act like hoes, talk like hoes, but demand respect as intellectuals on subjects they clearly have no understanding of. The old "my eyes are up here" while they are wearing a g-string bikini.
It's because without the eye candy to distract.. people would quickly realize how little content is actually there.
so you really are interested in the news?
I have only one thing to say :) http://www.buzzfeed.com/gavon/twin-babies-talk-about-the-bronx-zoo-cobra
Gavon's a good egg. His moustache gives me nightmares though.
The answer to "my eyes are up here" is and always has been; "yeah but your tits are down there"!
Carry that water, Bitchez...
He didn't say anything we didn't know but it is nice, every so often, when someone comes on to confirm the reality. Pure evil and hubris has taken over our federal gov't. I'm sure some here will call for new leadership, especially Ron Paul. But Ron Paul serves a great purpose to those in power. It allows those Citizens who would otherwise recognize the farce that is our "democracy" to hope and believe that there will be change if Dr.Paul was elected president. I am a fan of Ron Paul as a person and a teller of truth. But he is also being used to make otherwise reasonable men into believing in statism. What is happening in our gov't was written in stone from the foundation of gov't. This is what happens to all govts. Ours is nort different. Ron Paul will never be elected. When it is apparent that he is not going to be elected then his followers will scramble around to vote for the next best option. And waiting for those followers will be Huckabee, Romney, Palin etc.
Govts start wars Gov't steal your hard earned labor. Gov't choose favorites. Gov't create central banks. Govts divide the populace. But govts offer you leftover scraps of what they've stolen from you. Fighting over those scraps (public union jobs, tax cuts, etc) truly misses the point.
Yes, Ron Paul is a lightning rod to capture all that energy and make it harmless. Jon Stewart is another example--you watch his show and get all self-righteous and then laugh it off and nothing productive happens that would change anything.
I am starting to think John Perkins is still working for the company. A certain way of telling sort of half the truth and brushing aside the really important stuff. Like someone mentioned once before here on the hedge, 911 is the real litmus test red pill wise, either that or a bullet in the head.
Ron Paul won't get elected if he runs as a Republican, however if he ran as an independent I'm not so sure.
TpTB will do whatever to keep him in the fold but they will also do whatever it takes to not allow him to have a position of real authority. This is a balancing act: to allow his followers to continue to believe in a rigged system based on the hope that Dr. Paul may one day be elected to a position of power. I would much rather Dr. Paul come out and just admit that there are no real answers to our problems within the confines of a rigged game. He has been in congress for more than 30 years. Very little has been accomplished during that time in terms of decreasing the size of gov't. If he was to state that this is a fruitless endeavor then he would be able to take his supporters with him. They would not be voting at all. A choice to not vote carries power in and of itself. It represents a person's disagreement with the current system. The beast needs to fed with votes. The beast can be starved. Don't vote.

I thought this was more of a British and Sarkozy deal. Obama has only a slight ( I hope) Gaddafi problem in that he has some tenous ties to him but the British and French? They have Gaddafi's stained blue Field Marshals tunic in their bedroom closets and need him gone before the 'special prosecutor' can find it.
"if there is trouble, you know the CIA is there"
Bingo! winner winner chicken dinner
CIA crafted and implemented chaos.
CNN sucks. Those gals like all the rest = moral hazard. I guess if you pay someone enough like those CNN whores, they will lie for the elites.
Michael Scheuer was great and right.
lol WTF is an "appasition" ?
hyperbatons. very dangerous. try and be a pastor and use one...
Here's an even better interview... same topic... even worse beatdown. Jeremy Scahill is awesome... Search for him on YouTube and watch any of his interviews. He's a fantastic journalist and a lucid speaker: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1M2LskW5Qxw
Thanks
Thanks for sharing.

Talking past each other, neither one listening, impossible to learn anything. There are better videos.
Host asked Jeremy, "why Russia did not stop" abstained rather voted no. I am surprised by this question. Why should Russia try to save America? It is one more stone to a dying giant.
Bankruptcy and hubris shaken together in a cocktail of Libyan sweet oil with q-daffy's butt as cherry on the cocktail stick...Bottoms up!
...and then yum, yum, another bite of the shit sandwich.
I love her debating style, she holds an imaginary ball that represents debt in one hand and a ball in the other that represents war and moves her hands up and down and says "they're not related". There see she won the debate because she is holding imaginary balls. Take the plant idiot anchor holding big balls line anyplace you like because that's about all she's good for. Moron.
And that is why she got the job in the first place. Follow the balls and you'll know who put her there.
It may have been a pair a boobs ...don't be sooo macho!
I think you are correct on your first point but I'm too macho to admit the second.
Nice work, Mr. Sheuer. Your smile at the end made my day..
The intelligence community knows what is going on. The ones that are still riding the gravy train just keep their mouths shut, but the veterans know the gig is up.
Too funny, the only person getting fired over this is the producer who set up this interview. I'm sure the libitards at the top of CNN are fuming mad over that little exchange.
The best thing about the interview is seeing Michael Scheuer shove the shit back into the bitches faces.
When I watch a video of an interview of a knowledgable person, I don't expect to be confronted by the opinions of the interviewer. They are there to assist the subject in expressing his views as completly and as articulately as possible. that is their function and should be there job. What the hell has happend in the few years since I quit watching television. When did the interviewers views become the issue. I have been irritated about this for some months now. Dumb moderators, and no name co-guests trying to discredit and invalidate well known and respected opinion makers has become to be the norm. I am glad to see others share the same outrage. I thought Joe Pyne died about 40 years ago, let his kind of journalism go to the grave with him.
When did the interviewers views become the issue?
I think it began with Fox, and in fact Chetry began on Fox.
I wish all the shit-for-brains airheads on tv (male and female) would explode. And good riddance.
But your comment about "well known and respected opinion makers opinion-makers" troubles me; news reporters should report news, not shape, express, or "make" opinions. Opinions are for the editorials and should not be confused with news. My cousin says opinions are like arseholes; everyone has one.
Indeed. This is one of the more annoying things about NPR in particular -- hosts arguing with their guests, and asking leading questions with their opinions embedded in the language. There's also the technique of having the reporter's speech interlaced with short tidbits of the subject's own speech, giving the impression that the subject is the source when in reality they have been heavily edited.
When are we going to stop fighting for the French?
When you pay them back for the Louisiana deal, the steal that dates way back to 1802!
At it's inflated present day true price! Not the give away one done by Bony to his friend Thomas J! To spite the Brits, if I may say!

Carrying the water for Obama and covering up the oil-interest by some juicy democracy talk....good night ladies
if you slag off the european union after you've retired they can/will hit your pension,i hope the cia haven't cottoned on to that particular scam
The "new" report about CIA being on the ground in Libya might make us forget the CIA has been on the ground in Libya for a long time. Most likely supplying weapons as well.
Some people still believe the government controls our military. Maybe the same people believe the government controls our banks too. Our military is the enforcement arm of the world's oligarchy and they act when it's in their best interests to do so. Cost? Give me a fucking break. Oil is the only currency that matters here.
This is why CNN is several layers removed from my news aggregating lexicon.
You know how if you fart, sneeze, burp, and hiccup at the same you die? That almost happened to me watching CNN, so I just never did it again.
So much of politics and media today reminds me of the infant that covers their own eyes and thinks he can't be seen 'cause he can't see anything himself.
I have seen Michael Scheuer on FAX as well - it is refreshing to say the least to hear at least one person who has the courage and morality to tell it like it is as opposed to the endless spin. I especially love it when he does it to a couple of bimbos who haven't a clue about what they are reporting on and only have the IQ to read and report what is on their telprompters.
Scheuer's most important point is that because the CIA are in there that US troops are definitely going to be going in soon?
I dont see this.
Wait till Q-daffy re-threatens Benghazi!
He said that Obama and his EU buddies didn't expect Kdaf to resist. It will take time for the men in black to ramp up the rebels into an effective fighting force.
By then, Kdaf might have them by the throat and the O team is painting themselves into the corner of admitting defeat and letting the rebels get crushed, or direct intervention.

In an unrelated/related news:

Dave Chappelle-Black Bush & Tom Lehrer Libya Speech Responsehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg6qj69TGLc
Change you can believe in, unfortuantely the change is not good for us of the Dwindling Majority.
ATTACKING Libya, engaging in a WAR against a nation that did NOT attack us. Hey Obama it is nearly 4 WEEKS since the Japanese have been spreading radiation materials over the USA, how about DEMANDING that they entomb those reactors as was done in Chernobyl? TOO LATE, I realize that, a REAL president would have put the MUSCLE on the Japs on Saturday March 12th, but .gov doesn't give a damn about the dwindling Majority.
dwindling majority of clean air/water is the killer...that no Majority or Minority can solve in a ballot box!
3 days without water is all it takes. For most people, the damage will be done after the 2nd day.
God, isn't Obama just about the biggest damn dissappointment that could ever come our way? Talk about flushing your vote down the toilet!
Can't take the heat get back in the kitchen.
Make me a samwich. bitchezzzz!
That's what happens when you don't have a teleprompter or the producer (via earpiece) doesn't respond to the quaker parrots.
Now that was AWESOME! He gets a +10000 for making her stammer so badly.
these blithering CNNT bimbos have their panties in a knot over the unexpectedly trenchant analysis provided by "former CIA analyst" Scheuer. in a scene reminiscent of the movie "Idiocracy" we are treated to a remarkable and cleverly successful misdirection supplied by Mr. Scheuer as well as a revealing glimpse into the increasingly ridiculous, transparent, and pretentious attempts at selling news via these gussied up robotic mannequins spewing their prerecorded doublespeak.
Unfortunately they are only emblems of the larger context of disinformation and propaganda to which Scheuer referred in his aspersions directed at the termagant Susan Rice to which they took notable exception. Rice, together with Samantha Powers and the odious lesbian Clinton form the feminist triumvirate much at the forefront of this latest US/NATO juggernaut now laying waste to the Levant. Kudos to the Hedge for this foray into our ongoing theater of the absurd.
I take exception to your use of term 'odious'...As a man I feel like cheering at the reality behind your affirmation...whooof, one we won't have to service in line of duty!...Count your blessings...
coverage on ZH is getting close to the bone. please take care of yourselves... we need you.
priceless
That piece will make an excellent high school 'Social Studies' presentation; in countries where educators are valued I mean, natch.
Hope this video goes Viral.
stupid. it is viral man.
If you ever needed proof that the mainstream stations are coaching their anchors on what messages are acceptable, even for open debate, this clip proves it beyond a reasonable doubt. I know there is a lot of healthy debate on this site around where the economy is going, but I think we can all agree that the government is treating the people like children trying to control the messages they can or cannot hear. This is both entertaining and terrifying. How much longer before even this forum needs to be pushed underground in a secret society?
For sure running man.. It was hilarious seeing those 2 clueless bimbos getting their lunch stloen but yet terryfying to relize they are the face and voice of most americans.

My many thanks, you made my morning Tyler.

.......did he say she was just carryin' the malt liquor for Obama?
nice job by Mr. Scheuer explaining reality to 2 bimbos who can't seem to connect the dots.
I glad that Libya and the economy are two entirely separate issues. I was worried about that. It's nice to be reassured.
Bitch, meet slap. Slap, bitch.
Whoops, he's gone off queue/message. Hurry up and end the interview. Haha.
They're all worthless. Good job Mr. Scheuer!
Tyler - another brilliant expo.
"American citizens have news explained by dum broads and can't make any sense of it"
Glad Mike mentioned the Mujhadeen - lets hope arming these rebels works out better than that did (or did the US not know that's where Bin Laden got his training - well to find out they need 'investigative reporters'....uh oh dumb broads back again)
To be fair (on one of mike's comments) - although there was a trade embargo - it wasn't allowed very long to 'work'. Gaddaffi cannot produce his own arms, he has to rely on the west. All the rebels needed to do is consolidate Benghazi and hold out until Gaddaffi ran out of ammo.
Secret meeting: O to UN's Moon; "I know I didn't get that bill for 2% of the US GDP to go to the UN pushed through while I was senator but now that I'm prez I'll do even better. I'll marginalize Congress and come to you for approval for everything, our NWO/OWG is within reach, play along, trust me."
There are a lot of 'whacky' people making 'whacky' claims about terrorism and such, which only serves as a great tool to lump ALL who QUESTION the official verson of reality as moonbats.
A proper discourse on the whole topic of what's real and what may not be requires a differentiation of the claims made and a look at the supporting evidence -
Is Al Qaeda Fake?Tuesday 11 January 2005
Is Al Qaeda Just a Bush Boogeyman?
By Robert Scheer
Los Angeles Times
Is it conceivable that Al Qaeda, as defined by President Bush as the center of a vast and well-organized international terrorist conspiracy, does not exist?
To even raise the question amid all the officially inspired hysteria is heretical, especially in the context of the U.S. media's supine acceptance of administration claims relating to national security. Yet a brilliant new BBC film produced by one of Britain's leading documentary filmmakers systematically challenges this and many other accepted articles of faith in the so-called war on terror.
"The Power of Nightmares: The Rise of the Politics of Fear," a three-hour historical film by Adam Curtis recently aired by the British Broadcasting Corp., argues coherently that much of what we have been told about the threat of international terrorism "is a fantasy that has been exaggerated and distorted by politicians. It is a dark illusion that has spread unquestioned through governments around the world, the security services and the international media."
...
Terrorism is deeply threatening, but it appears to be a much more fragmented and complex phenomenon than the octopus-network image of Al Qaeda, with Bin Laden as its head, would suggest.
While the BBC documentary acknowledges that the threat of terrorism is both real and growing, it disagrees that the threat is centralized:
The fact is, despite the efforts of several government commissions and a vast army of investigators, we still do not have a credible narrative of a "war on terror" that is being fought in the shadows.
Consider, for example, that neither the 9-11 commission nor any court of law has been able to directly take evidence from the key post-9-11 terror detainees held by the United States. Everything we know comes from two sides that both have a great stake in exaggerating the threat posed by Al Qaeda: the terrorists themselves and the military and intelligence agencies that have a vested interest in maintaining the facade of an overwhelmingly dangerous enemy.
Such a state of national ignorance about an endless war is, as "The Power of Nightmares" makes clear, simply unacceptable in a functioning democracy.
i fukin love scheer!
altho he shoots from waaay off-center, he hits the bull's eye remarkably often, for those in his business, imo. even when he's wrong, there's often a bit of what's right in the way he goes about it.

Not bad for basic cable.
I love this site; nothing goes uncensored and so many of you have no problem revealing your misogyny. (I long ago surmised that behind many of the inane comments made here are testosterone-driven adolescent males not yet possessing fully-developed brains.) There is nothing any more stupid, vapid or uninformed about these CNN anchors' questions to the interviewee than what I have seen from male anchors on MSM. While I agree they were carrying the MSM tag line, their questions were actually more thoughtful than some of the crap I have seen come from the mouth of anchors with penises. The comments here that attack this piece not on substance, but on the fact that it was two pretty women (albeit one in a ridiculous yellow shirt) posing the questions, are more superficial than the questions these women asked.

I understand you 'desamore' with dicks...As a male I feel the same way...Maybe we were all fantasizing on the sheer waste of such good looking feminine material (apart yellow shirt)... who should still be pole dancing and climbing on humped camels...instead of talking about the coming demise of a worn out q-daffyied, chewed up, camel hide that will be nailed to a WH trophy wall or sent to the MOMA museum of Picasso horrors.
