I'm going to estimate that gold will end the day at 1125.00. That way, if I set the bar low enough, I can say that it "beat expectations".

Question from a noob: Whats a squid? Reading it enough, I am beginning to infer its meaning but am looking for a concise definition. Also, do we possibly have a page set up for defimitions and site jargon?

Message to Buffett and his boy-toy Sheik Yerbouti (apologies to Frank Zappa):

If you two boys simply cannot manage to keep your hands off each other, I am going to have to insist that you get a hotel room so you can conduct your affair in private. And it`s going to have to be our special sound-proof "Man-love suite", because the last time you two shared a room, we had numerous complaints from other guests on the same floor about the sounds of noisy spanking, erm, I mean banking going on until the wee hours.

These two lovebirds really need porn-style nicknames ... how about:

Prince Alwaleed "Al the Arabian Stallion" bin Talal

Warren "The Avuncular Billionaire Harem Jockey" Buffett
