Did someone misplace a decimal on that Personal Income number?  Seems a bit way too high there.

Chindia my ass.  America bitchez!

Was watching an old travelog vhs of NYC architecture.  Every building of significance was built buy an old dead rich guy Morgan, Astor, Guggenheim, Rockefeller, Getty.  I thought it was telling that in each case the narrator noted how the original owner "made his money" in copper, oil, railroads, etc...   Then we watched a video about Czech castles.  All of the castles were built by monarchs or other royalty and usually change ownership through war.

After the ongoing collapse is completed, America will return to making things, buildings and money.  Go back and learn about your family tree.  Nearly every one of us is the end result of a long line of persistent, tireless survivors.  It is in our nature.

A Citigroup prediction of 2050? I also might ask a Romanian fortune teller...

And what is Chindia? Sounds like an ancient chimera. And no, I am not afraid of India or China. Actually, I like the history and culture of both nations. But to think they would've something in common. But who knows? Maybe tomorrow it will be the "United States of Eumerica" to keep up the ponzi scheme game.

It's funny Madoff is viewed as a monster by most people in America. He only ruined very rich people and trusts.

And his Ponzi was very pale in comparison to the global financial/political system.

I have sympathy for him.

When the pension/social security Ponzi will blow out, there won't be any trials, lawsuits or sheeple outrage.

Everybody is a criminal. The only ones who are viewed as such by the sheeple are those who get caught...

Yeah, Madoff is a good guy.  After all, he cried for two whole weeks after the suicide of his son.  That's grief.  Good grief.

"The winner of Ireland’s election said he saw “room for manoeuvre” to change the terms of Europe’s bail-out of the country’s banks."

Not the done deal the IMF thought it was. Go Ireland.
