What if "they" controlled everything? The bond market (interest rates), the stock market (wealth effect), commodity prices (not too high for consumers and not too low for producers), and, if an entity failed, "they" paid off the debtors in an orderly way so no one got hurt.

Wouldn't that be something? A dream? Seems like present reality.

No, it's the belief in that non-existent entity that creates this bullishness. People have short memories and if you look at any 1-year stock chart, the trend is undoubtedly up.

Of course the Yuan is properly valued...for a currency that is being printed like mad to maintain a dollar peg.  Once the printing stops, then it will start to rise in value vs other currencies (even if it is static with respect to actual purchasing power).
