Fun With Nodes

Tyler Durden's picture

Almost as fun as connecting the dots. Courtesy of NNDB, where readers can add their own nodes. Not much data would be needed for this map to encircle the globe.

I think Matt Goldstein is missing the potential of those materials.

Perhaps Sergey's personnel file will confirm (1) what individual hired him, (2) who he works with [via peer assessments], (3) COMPLAINTS he may have made as to concerns regarding the legality of the code he was writing, and (4) details on his duties [thus revealing what it was he was coding].

Most important, I think, is that people often have a copy of various things that go into their personnel file. They may have copies of the letters they wrote; copies of the tasks/duties. Etc. So when things are mysteriously missing from their personnel file, say because they were damning, the employee may be able to convince a fact-finder of the destruction of evidence ..

(Of course, I'm just speculating here.)

But yeah, I say former CEO's of GS should not be allowed into public positions of influence such as Treasury Secy. Could we pass a law on that? Lol.

be careful Tyler, or they might come up with a new name for you " Factual conspiracy theorist " ... its not good that you state FACTS and present EVIDENCE to back your claim. I'm not saying anything, but there is a lot of angry bald people and the flag@whitehouse.gov is interested in what they got to say ..

Amazing. One could draw similar tangled webs of public-private connections for countless other U.S. corporations, of all sizes. That's not a bad thing in and of itself.

But yeah, I say former CEO's of GS should not be allowed into public positions of influence such as Treasury Secy.
Could we pass a law on that? Lol.

We need to vote the corruption out, keep it out, and pass term limit legislation for lawmakers. Secondly, send a message to GS and AIG by simply avoiding them like the plague. You'll never find me doing business with any of the companies pictured above.

It is the purpose of your professional existence if you're a fund manager who has a fiduciary duty to your clients...

But you're right they should refuse to trade the best b/o's because of some random conspiracy ramblings on the internet, duh.

yes its all a giant conspiracy if we don't consider all the EVIDENCE, all the FACTS and all admissions by INSIDERS; yes its all just a conspiracy.

And BTW, there is no such concept as professional existence; that is your job, not what makes you a human.

Evidence such as the above chart?

Evidence such as SPY reverting to a standard benchmark intraday? And that one of the biggest broker-dealers on the street trades it in size?

None of your so-called evidence is any more than circumstantial (sp?) as far as I can tell.

Happy to be convinced otherwise but it will need a lot more than what I've seen so far.

what would satisfy you; and open admission of all living GS CEOs, Presidents, Governmental officials etc. well, that's not going to happen. Scepticism is good and it makes society  go forwards, but closing your eyes and not question anything and accept everything at face value with no questions asked, is my anonymous, friend; what causes societies to fall, individuals to lose. I don't know what kind of evidence would satisfy your need for omniscient verification, but i can assure you there is no such evidence. And if you are a fund manager, you can test my claim looking at your performance in 07 and 08, and see where you fit. You were probably one of those people who listened to " experts" and had a -40% year because you were buying AAA MBS and CMBS. If you are gonna respond please be true; you have a cloth of anonymity to shield you from the embarrassment

I've signed up now - happy?  And how droll it is for a user called cheeky bastard to criticise someone for hiding behind a "cloth of anonymity"...anyway:

1.  I'm not a fund manager - that was just an example.

2.  As I said above, some actual evidence of front-running or market manipulation would satisfy me, not conjecture or circumstantial evidence.

3.  You sound like a typical conspiracy theory nut.

4.  Overall, I'm yet to be convinced but am all ears once you find something.

nice response which actually said nothing about my original post; and i don't understand people like you who dismiss investigative journalism as conspiracy theory; you want evidence; re-read everything about the crisis we have and then come back to me with some actual response; because you are either financially illiterate, or you just got off MSM bandwagon ( then i understand) if 23 trillion dollars of governmental aid to financial sector is not enough evidence, and if, in a minor scale, 98% rate of success of GS trading desk in Q2 ( which is an impossibility in ALL statistical models, and quantum models) is not enough evidence for you, then please take the blue pill of MSM and enjoy the artificial matrix of green shoots, " the recession is over " BS and a premise that financial system operates because its altruistic and really wants to help people. I'm sorry if I broke your illusion of an innocent and altruistic World, but i would be even more sorry if I had not ...

It is my opinion that Neel Kashkari is being prepped up for GS' foray into the Indian "market". Correct me if I am wrong, they haven't infiltrated India's political establishment, yet. That's still virgin territory. Give it a couple of years and you'll find Neel returning to India and being appointed at a high post within the Indian government.

Great work.  A web spun of the entire network of global operatives would be mind boggling.  Most people here have a concept of what the larger picture is, but are a small minority struggling to grasp what the hell is going on.

The success of the PR machinery in cloaking the oligarchical kleptocracy is astounding!

Almost everyone knows something is really wrong with this situation.  Almost nobody understands how insidious this stealth network of kleptocrats are.

The best possible approach to bringing change is education of the Proletariat.  Trickle down does not work.  The workers are the ones who cannot be dismissed.  Whoever controls the proletariat is in control.

The only possibility for meaningful change is to educate ordinary people.  There may never have been a better opportunity than now unless some Green Shoot miracle makes this economic mess all better.  I have Zero confidence in the economic track the USA is on.  It is based on the failed policies of the very institutions / people who got us into this mess to start out with.

Ordinary people are ready to learn and understand.  They are not the stereotypical dumb assess that the network is trying to promote.  A mass communications initiative from the ZH community could have a surprising impact on the minds of a much broader audience.

An initiative for Project Mayhem?
