So much for no intervention.
Austerity lasted for a few hours, its a start.
Intervention is now non intervention, bankster doublespeak haven't you upgraded your vocabulary yet?
Perhaps Brazil's wife needs Dollars, as she's going shopping in New York?
There's no free lunch ... but there's free dollars!!!
sheeple
You've been gone nearly a week. I thought the wolves had finally gotten to ya. :>)
I'd buy a few dollars if I could get 'em nice and cheap. Used, of course, from a distressed seller or something. I've been checking eBay, but no luck so far.
Sadly, Ebay normally only offers Gold Certs, Silver Certs, and US Notes and they all carry a hefty premium.
Where can i buy some piranha's in bulk for my moat ?
1-800-PIRA-NHA
That WAS fast!
Daily occurrence, in fact Brazil's central bank has been buying USD, often twice daily, for weeks.
That will be the Nip's excuse, too? They have been doing it twice weekly for days. Or do you believe that they, the USA, and everyone else will reallyl stop intervening?
Brazil's business plan.
1. Buy Dollars
2. Wait for artist to die.
3. Profit!!!
Brazil has been buying dollars every day for ages. Of late, to try to limit the impact of the Petrobras deal, they've been doing two rounds of dollar auctions daily. Nothing new at all in the Bloomberg headline.
I think you guys might have missed the point....the time was blank xx.xx-xx.xx...in other words its a boilerplate template of intervention -- they didn't write it after they bought or planned to buy. They have it ready before.
And we have lift off, lift off of the dollar on it's mission to crash the risk trade.
All systems are "GO" Mission Control. Go to throttle up. Currently at 106% power. Go baby, go!
Brazil had shown interest in collaborating in non-dollar oil payments, along with India. Indeed, China appeared to be the most enthusiastic of all the financial powers involved, not least because of its enormous trade with the Middle East.
THEN LIKE MAGIC...WA'LA
George Soros purchased an $811 million stake in Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PBR), (better known as Petrobras) in Q2. The Brazilian oil company is now the largest holding in his fund, amounting to 22 percent of the total $3.68 billion of stocks and American depositary receipts held by Soros Fund Management LLC. Not to mention that Barack Obama has chipped in $2 billion in loans to exploit offshore oil resources in hopes of extracting a major new source of petroleum…in South America.
THEN LIKE MAGIC...WA'LA
BRAZIL CENTRAL BANK TO BUY DOLLARS XX:XX-XX:XX
Anybody that wants to ship to us needs to buy dollars...
Korea's already doin' it. Like the man said "Get on Board."
No no no, there IS no currency war, didn't you read the MSM?
Why is the time range 'X'-ed out?
The bloomberg terminals do it automatically. So does this place.

See.
And it changed your avatar as well.
Ah, thanks. Didn't realize it was because of the platform.
That was a joke tim. That's how people get you to reveal your facebook password. They throw in a couple of facilitators to do the same thing but it mostly ends with the person typing thier password out for everbody to see.
They xxx out the times so that you don't front run them.
Yeah, I forgot that on the internet - personal responsibility is a beautiful butterfly that ends up smashed under the palm of "lulz".
Appreciate the *real* explanation. I don't have the reserves to pony up the $1,000 or so a month for Bloomberg, so I had no idea.
No problem. I really enjoy your comments from time to time. I'm just goofy today.
Niggaz, is you crazy!??!!
So this is the chicken game w/ BB at the helm...he is raising and forcing the exporter developing nations who want in on the Chinagame to call.
It's like the USD is an infection and these foreigners are inviting exposure. The more the merrier I guess.
Is this IT for the world, these bitch ass nations can't develop themselves, they have to have an inflation racket and cheapen their own currencies in perpetuity to get anywhere? JFC. As long as this inflation bubble game is good for the elites in any given country, the band plays on, I guess.
From the guys at www. forexlive.com/
Former hedge fund manager Raoul Pal on CNBC has a very downcast view of the European sovereign debt situation. He sees a very real risk of a sovereign default from one or more of the highly indebted members of the euro.
He sums the view up nicely by saying that it used to be when you bought the euro you were buying Germany. Today you are buying Greece and Spain.Yeah, but what I wanna know is: if I buy the dollar, am I getting North Dakota or Florida?
Or Puerto Rico?
How 'bout Florida or California?
dup.
