German Finance Minister Rushed To Hospital On Eve Of Last Greek Bailout
The reason given by Reuters why the FinMin is in the hospital is due to an adverse reaction to a new medicine. While we wish Schaeuble all the best, his the timing could not possibly have been worse: the whole world is watching with baited breath to see what happens in Europe before 6pm eastern tonight. Anything less than an "ironclad" bailout program will result in a total market wipeout tomorrow.
We will bring you more as we get it.

This is just bizarre. Maybe the medicine he reacted to was the bailout?
He could also have been overcome by what some refer to as the "Hank Effect". He ingested too much "truth", and became violently ill.
Worth repeating, VI:
"He ingested too much truth, and became violently ill."
+1
Hank Effect? Does this mean he tried to swallow his own bazooka?
Good news! It's a suppository!
Would you swallow 300 billion euro's without a hickup?
60 billion for the German taxpayer to grant the system. I'd resign.
Perhaps the German Finance Minister had too many schnitzengruben.
Lili Von Shtupp: Would you like another schnitzengruben?
Bart: No, thank you. Fifteen is my limit on schnitzengruben.

Fail.
Nobody switches meds in a time of crisis.
Epic Fail.

GERMAN FIN MIN: UMMM YOU KNOW WHAT GUYS
GERMAN FIN MIN: I'M NOT FEELING SO GOOD ALL OF A SUDDEN
GERMAN FIN MIN: GOTTA RUN TO THE HOSPITAL
GERMAN FIN MIN: YEAH THAT'S THE TICKET
I understand his hospital is located in Sumatra.
Gold bitchez
The whole world might be watching, but you wouldn't know it from looking at the TV. I just ate lunch (salad from my garden! woot! it was fricking awesome, BTW) and scanned the Sunday news for about 20 minutes for anything, anything on the financial crisis / European debt / stock market. Nothing. All talk is about Obama (?), the oil spill, the Times Square bomber.
Those who depend on American MSM for their news are in for a series of unpleasant surprises over the next several months.
The oil spill is much more important than the EU. It doesn't matter if everyone goes broke all at once. It does matter if the ecosystem collapses and noone can eat anything from the sea forever.
The oil spill is threatening the balance of wildlife in the Oceans. Iceland's Volcano is threatening all life in the air and on the ground for who knows how many miles radius or for how long.
Money can be replaced with good old fashioned production. Air, water and food can't.
Just delete Government and fiat currency from your life and you will be much better off, until you confront the harsh reality that no matter how sharp your spear or your skill, whatever you catch you might not be permitted to eat. Then you will be fully awake MOMO.
The oil spill is a technical problem that can be solved. The financial crisis is a debt problem that cannot. Wanna see ecological destruction? Think "World War."
Put your tinfoil hat on and consider other possibilities.
"brain aneurysm - it just happened so fast, no one could have seen it coming."
"Reynolds heavy duty", bitches !!!!
I used to run a large department before going into a different career path. the joke to me as the boss was:
"Um, I have to get something out of my car."
(The person drove off into the sunset on me)
Translation--"I can't take the pressure. I quit."
translation here: "We're frickin' DOOMED!!!"
Can you drive to the Katyn forest in a Mercedes. I hope he does not get lost in the heavy fog.
yes, bail-out medicine causes all kinds of bad symptoms

You can't tell the difference between "The Onion" and real life any more.
There was a difference?
Reply: No debt. Live in the country. Got bullets, gold, and a big garden. Bite me, banker scum. Bank bondholders take a big haircut. We know you have TP in the vaults. Take it out and get a big whiff. BWAHAHA.
I was wondering how long it would be before someone used that picture for an avatar.
HUA.
The UK doesn't look like its going to have a government by Monday and the current Chancellor has said Britain will not participate in a Euro bailout but only make a limited defined contribution to a fund to help European countries.
Says he won't let Britain take on any liabilities. The Conservatives, when they take power are going to do even less than that and leaked memos suggest they want to take a hardline stance and withdraw Britain from everything but the trade aspects of Europe
Suicide FAIL. Stand up and fight your German pussy, stand up and fight as if the Russians were raping your mother and your sister is next and then you. FIGHT BITCH.

Hope his papers are in order.
Hospital is probably code for airplane hanger.
He took the red pill.
Time to wake up now before its too late.
Great news! Hope he'll see Germany's future from high above the sky! I've heard they have more austerity there than in hell.
A thief, a hateful man, hope he's done.
Cross my fingers it works!!!!
Who wants to wager there is a bank holiday on Monday?
I've uploaded a new DOW chart.

Thanks for this link..
Thanks for link. It say "At 20:00 (expected start time)". Would you happen to know what time they are on?....trying to make sense of "20:00" time reference.
GMT +1 ... thats +6 EST
Thanks for the reply. What confuses me is the reference to the meeting beginning at 20:00 their local time (which would be 8pm their local time Sunday) which would be long after the meeting was supposed to be finished on Sunday afternoon their local time.
The website now says the start time hasn't been determined. They're currently tasering the ministers who tried to run away so they can drag them into the room.
Worlds have turned on far less. What was that lost message and the Mexican revolution?
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble was "conscious" in a Brussels hospital Sunday after suffering an allergic reaction during crisis talks to protect the eurozone, his spokesman said.
"He is doing well under the circumstances," said Michael Offer, adding that Schaeuble was "conscious" and "understands what is being said to him" after taking new medication for the first time, according to his ministry.
Oh, well, that's OK then...move along, nothing to see here..

We can rest assured that the finest within the Obama administration see no connection of cyber terrorism associated with Thursday's market action.

Roofied and taken advantage of by greek party boys.
Glad I left some short exposure on into the weekend... guess my stops won't be kicking in tomorrow morning.
now regretting short exposure..... :(
Just got a WSJ IM that IMF approves 30 billion Euro for Greece. That's peanuts..
Equity markets love the smell of bailouts in the morning.
Im thinking a muted relief rally and euro squeeze.
However, the law of diminishing returns is going to be manifested big time, this go-around.

From the UK telegraph:
"Euro-zone leaders took the decision as a two-hour dinner on Friday stretched into nine hours of tense negotiations."
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/greece/7696870/British-...
Well 9 hours drinking by 16 men often puts at least 1 in hospital.
I thought the Germans were second only to the Irish in alchohol tolerance. Maybe the fin minister didnt read the warning label on the perscription; "Achtung!! Nien drinken ze sauzen ven poppen ze pills"!
Tyler, are you waiting with bated breath, or have you just eaten a herring?
A thought to ponder, there is a massive capital call racing around the world...
Germany & France are attempting to put England in a position to be blamed for the coming colapse of the Euro. The EU/French are demanding that England & now Germany fund the bail outs with more capital than is realistically available to them. For different reasons the Brits & Krauts cant stumach the bottom line numbers...
So, this leads to England needing to bail out of the EU Adventure to save its own ability to control the capital already inside of its economy. You cant ask Britain to fund 10% of the Euro bail out fund with an internal deficit already measured in double digits.
Germany needs out of the Euro before it is BK'ed in "capital calls", and should be preparing to launch the next D.M. once the Euro is low enough to lock in a favoritable export currency rate.
All Currencys need to go to 1 and you get...
1 Dollar = 1 Pound = 1 Broken Euro = 1 New D.M. = 100 Yens
Hey that would make it easier for tourists!
It'll be even easier when it's 1 "Worldo"
only problem is all of them are going to go to zero, eventually.
trading now is really only trying to second guess the order.
I've uploaded a weekly DOW chart.
