Global Community Condemns Israeli Actions As Crowds Of Protesting Turks Scream “Long Live Global Intifada”

Tyler Durden's picture

Things for Israel are getting from bad to worse. The Israeli attack on 6 Turkish ships carrying aid to Gaza, which has left 19 dead and 36 wounded according to latest estimates by Israel's Channel 10 TV, has drawn a wave of global outrage, resulting in "widespread international condemnation of Israel, with Israeli envoys summoned to explain their country’s actions in several European countries" according to the NYT. Additionally, Turkish website World Bulletin has formally branded Israel's attack "privacy" (no, not another stab at Google killer du jour Facebook, but a reference to government authorized attack on foreign shipping). Turkey's foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu has said he will create an international legal case against this case of piracy and that "Israel's attitude has hurt the conscience of all humanity." Also, Turkey has joined the bandwagon of countries condemning the Gaza blockade, and is now openly supportive of the Hamas cause: "We hope that Israel learns lessons from this incident. Israel's blockade on Gaza is against laws and is not legitimate, Davutoglu said." Prime Miniter Erdogan also voiced in, saying: "by attacking innocent civilians, Israel displayed to the whole world its disregard of human values." The head of the Turkish Grand National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Commission said, “We are going to see in the following days whether Israel has done it
as a display of decisiveness or to commit political suicide.” Making a strong case for the latter, minutes ago Reuters reported that Israel PM Netanyahu has canceled plans to meet president Obama on Tuesday as was previously scheduled.

Turkey recalled its ambasaddor in Tel Aviv as of Monday, even as Israel told all its citizens to get the hell out of dodge, which is a smart thing - everyone knows not to mess around with the descendants of the Ottomans and the Seljuks when angry. And pissed off they are:

Thousands of protesters gathered in Istanbul’s Taksim Square, chanting anti-Israeli slogans and repeating Islamic verses while government officials called for calm and urged demonstrators to avoid retaliation against Israeli nationals.

Protesters met in front of the Israeli Consulate earlier and marched toward the square carrying a banner that read, “Zionist Embassy should close down,” and chanting slogans including “Damn Israel” and “Long live global intifada.”

Crowds also gathered outside the Ankara residence of Gabi Levi, the Israeli ambassador, who was summoned to the Foreign Ministry.

Also, with Israel amassing a nuclear-armed Armada in the Persian Gulf, it may have considered for a more opportune moment before stirring the Muslim hornet's nest:

The outcry from Muslim leaders was strong and immediate. Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, called the incident “a massacre,” according to the official Wafa news agency. Mr. Abbas is to meet with President Obama in Washington next week.

Saad Hariri, the Lebanese prime minister, denounced the raid as “a dangerous and crazy step that will exacerbate tensions in the region,” while the president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said it was “inhuman.”

All in all, just another day in the life of an increasingly unstable world, where even Bloomberg is forced to publish such oximoronic sentences as the following: "European stocks and oil advanced as
investors speculated the economy is strong enough to withstand
the region’s debt crisis. Spanish government bonds fell after
Fitch Ratings stripped the nation of its AAA rating."

Considering the U.S. presence in Iraq:  how convenient.  Suddenly it all makes sense.  The question isn't the war;  it's who will fight it.

Our *volunteer* military is policing the Koreas, Afghanistan/Pakistan, and Israel/Iran.  Think about that for awhile everyone.  Three nuclear proliferation hotbeds, and the U.S. has decided to be Team America:  World Police.

But don't worry:  Hillary Clinton is on the job.

Everything that is happening confirms history as storytelling.  Banksters in trouble?  Start a war, or even better, start a couple of wars and ramp up a couple of others.  Truth is stranger than fiction because it's real.  These developments are nothing short of remarkable.  A giant confirmation bias-reinforcing series of events.

The "palestinians" are poor because they are stupid:  Marxism plus Islamism is stupid squared, combining the poorest economic system, famous for bringing misery everywhere it is tried, with all the benefits of a famously dehumanizing sect.  The reason there are so many palestinians, average age of the population being about 15 mind you, is that they live off of western aid.  So you can add the uplifiting effect of welfare on their self-estime and motivation, and calculate correctly that in their minds they are perma-victims.   Reason cannot penetrate their mental sheilds.   The UN "refugee" "camps" are welfare ghettos, full of spiteful, hateful, ignorant, unproductivement people, paid for by you and me.  The surrounding arabs don't give a toss, or else they'd help drain this swamp rather than forcing these camps to exist:   The palestinians are treated as the lowest of the low in all the surrounding Middle East countries.    Only Israel had a guest worker program and so forth, but that had to end, thanks to the Intifida PLUS suicide bomber terrorism.   Add to that the rain of rockets from Gaza, a formerly rich area turned over to the idiot horde, and its starts to make sense as to why the government of Israel has an interest in blocking all "aid" that cannot be inspected down the last little shoebox of stuff.   Semtex and anthrax and even AK47 rounds are famously compact.

you really think they want to live in those camps because of all the luxury they get?!

Why not throw all the black people and poor people in the US also in camps where they can enjoy the luxury!

But if they come out after 20 o'clock, we shoot them!

If they want to walk around freely, we shoot them!

They want to see a doctor, we shoot them!

They want to protest and use their freedom of speech, we shoot them!

Let's just start putting all the unemployed and poor and sick and enabled people in the camps!

Also throw in everybody who doesn't think or look like me! I'll start with you! You'll love it there, and if not, I'LL BOMB YOUR HOUSE AND SHOOT DOWN YOUR FAMILY!

And if one dears to carry a gun or protest, WE JUST BOMB THE NEIGHBOURHOOD!

YES WE CAN!

Add to this there are no such people as "palestinians".  That is a false identity created to explain away their stupid mistake in refusing to create a country of their own when the state of Israel was created in the 1940's.

The "palestinians" never lose a chance to be the abused pawns of their Arab masters, never lose a chance at failure.  There are "refugee" camps in Gaza that are older than I, where people's living costs have been covered by my tax dollars for the past five decades. A normal people would have declared themselves a county and gone about building a life for themselves without their Israeli neighbors.  Instead they abuse themselves to prove their victimhood.  They are an embarrassment to humanity.

The "palestinians" are a people cursed by their own stupidity, hatred and violent hearts.

On the ground, in Palestine, you find one of the most thoroughly ruined peoples on the planet.   The victim mentality and the welfare heaped upon them have created this horde of utterly ineffective people living in near total dependence, breeding at warp speed and infecting this teaming progeny with psychotic bullshit.   I'd call it child abuse, what they do to their children, but the whole place IS childish...average age 15!   Its an asylum where the most sociopathic of the inmates run everything.

1. I show up at your house

2. I say, your house is mine

3. You may want to protest against me taking your house and you sit in MY front yard.

4. Every day I drive MY car that I took from you because it was IN MY GARAGE, over your little tent.

5. You try to protest, I shoot your wife, you protest again, I shoot your kids.

After that I call you a coward because you let your kids stay IN MY YARD and that also give me a reason to shoot you because you where such a retard for not moving away!

Also, you are a parasite because you didn't pay rent to me for camping in MY YARD! That gives me a reason to take all your families houses in the same way!

Because they are paid to by the same corrupt Bankster cabal that runs the anglo-israeli axis of evil.  Check it out.  $2B++ every year.  Egypt is paid to play nice with the evil entity.  If they change their mind, they get the Sadam regime change treatment.

We enforce "democracy" via depleted uranium, cruise missles and sniper rounds in Iraq, but we pay the Egyptian tyrants to crush democracy in Eygypt.  Why?  Because the only meaningful question for any foreign policy issue is - Is it good for the evil entity?

joomedia intentionally mistranslated ahmadinejad's remarks.

"Ahmadinejad did not say he was going to wipe Israel off the map because no such idiom exists in Persian," remarked Juan Cole, a Middle East specialist at the University of Michigan and critic of American policy who has argued that the Iranian president was misquoted. "He did say he hoped its regime, i.e., a Jewish-Zionist state occupying Jerusalem, would collapse." Since Iran has not "attacked another country aggressively for over a century," he said in an e-mail exchange, "I smell the whiff of war propaganda."

http://www.the7thfire.com/new_world_order/zionism/zionist_collaboration_...

I think it all makes sense. Zionists were obsessed only with Palestine. If Hitler was terrifying the jews in Europe, european jews should be more inclined to migrate to that distant land in Palestine...

I also found something about secret radiation experiments the zionists did with jewish Sephardi children in Israel:

I would not like to take this to the religious side, because I do not think any religion is guilty of the crimes of Israel, and there are many adherents of Judaism who condemn Israel.

But I can not stay silent in the face of outrageous attempts to accuse Islam of being a religion of fanatical fundamentalists.

So, let's see what the Bible of Christians and Jews, says on Deuteronomy, chapter 13:

"13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

13:2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

13:4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

13:5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

13:6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;

13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;

13:8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:

13:9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

13:10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13:11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you."

Amen.

Quran don't say to you that you have to kill your son, your brother, or your wife because they have a different religion.

Muhammed was a violent person who reveled in his violence. His followers use his example. Just watch what happens if anyone should be so bold as to publish mere cartoons of him. They are killed or sent into hiding. No one feared for their lives when a statue of Christ was put into a vat of piss. Let the muslims be so tolerent and we can talk of co-existence.

One year after 9/11 the people of Indonesia a supposedly "moderate" Islamic state saw 58% of the people have high confidence in Bin Laden. It is a violent religion filled with violent people who use the Koran to justify their violence. They also use Muhammed.

Qur'an (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."  There is a good case to be made that the textual context of this particular passage is defensive war, even if the historical context was not.  However, there are also two worrisome pieces to this verse.  The first is that the killing of others is authorized in the event of "persecution" (a qualification that is ambiguous at best).  The second is that fighting may persist until "religion is for Allah."  The example set by Muhammad is not reassuring.

Qur'an (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."

Qur'an (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."  Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time.  From the Hadith, we know that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding caravans with this verse.

Qur'an (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

Qur'an (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".  This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be 'joining companions to Allah').

Qur'an (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward."  The martyrs of Islam are unlike the early Christians, led meekly to the slaughter.  These Muslims are killed in battle, as they attempt to inflict death and destruction for the cause of Allah.  Here is the theological basis for today's suicide bombers.

Qur'an (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"

Qur'an (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks."

Qur'an (4:95) - "Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-"  This passage not only criticizes "peaceful" Muslims who do not join in the violence, but it also demolishes the modern myth that "Jihad" doesn't mean holy war in the Qur'an, but rather a spiritual struggle.  Not only is the Arabic word used in this passage, but it is clearly not referring to anything spiritual, since the physically disabled are given exemption.  (The Hadith reveals the context of the passage to be in response to a blind man's protest that he is unable to engage in Jihad).

Qur'an (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain..."  Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense?

Qur'an (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement"

Qur'an (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"  No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.

Qur'an (8:15) - "O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless maneuvering for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey's end."

Qur'an (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah"  From the historical context we know that the "persecution" spoken of here was simply the refusal by the Meccans to allow Muhammad to enter their city and perform the Haj.  Other Muslims were able to travel there, just not as an armed group, since Muhammad declared war on Mecca prior to his eviction.  The Meccans were also acting in defense of their religion, since it was Muhammad's intention to destroy their idols and establish Islam by force (which he later did).  Hence the critical part of this verse is to fight until "religion is only for Allah."

Qur'an (8:57) - "If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember."

Qur'an (8:59-60) - "And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape.  Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy."

Qur'an (9:5) - "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them."  According to this verse, the best way of staying safe from Muslim violence is to convert to Islam.  Prayer (salat) and the poor tax (zakat) are among the religions Five Pillars.

Qur'an (9:14) - "Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace..."

You were talking about rancid holy books.  I pointed out that yours is full of evil puss and ... you change the subject.  How truly predictable of you.

But, OK, I'll play.  How about New World slavery, largely funded and run by Jews?

The Jews maintained a smaller geo-political entity than the larger ones, some Muslims were able to construct.  But if you go back and look at your own biblical tales, they're all about slaughter slaughter and slaughter of the unJews.

So what's your point?  Yes, states cause massacres?  Jewish, Christian and Muslim states all have initiated massacres.  In the present epoch, the list of Jewish/Israeli crimes against unarmed, innocent civilians is both extensive and well documented.  You seem to be forgetting this.  Let me help remind you with some notable, representative examples.

o Qibya October 14, 1954 "the UN observers who arrived shortly afterwards noted that:

Bullet-riddled bodies near the doorways and multiple bullet hits on the doors of the demolished houses indicated that the inhabitants had been forced to remain inside until their homes were blown up over them.[16]

And original documents of the time showed that Sharon personally ordered his troops to achieve "maximal killing and damage to property"

o El Arish June 8, 1967 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo0yuWsF-vs a.k.a why the USS Liberty was napalmed by the IDF.

o Lebanon ... Sabra Shatila ... Qana 1996 http://www.bintjbeil.com/E/occupation/robert_fisk_qana.html Qana 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce9ZBM_fYM0 http://yalibnan.com/site/archives/2006/07/qana_massacre_2.php

o Gaza December 2008 - January 2009 "Israel committed actions amounting to war crimes, possibly crimes against humanity." Goldstone (a Jewish S.African judge) UN Report http://www.wildolive.co.uk/goldstone.htm

So do the world a favor and take your appologetic ass elsewhere.  Find a way to make amends for the horror you act as a cheer leader for.

You pull random quotes out of a book you do not understand to make a point. I then point out that one group of people has consistently over the ages committed random acts of genocide, they have done this with or without government sanction...but always with the sanction of their book. They have merely acted as the father of their book, Muhammed.  And you say I have changed the subject? No I have merely extended it to show the results of either book.

This flotilla had objectives other than purely altruistic motives. The organisers and their backers were itching for a confrontation. The Israelis were prepared. National sovereignty and maritime borders must be respected. None of the Arab nations batted an eyelid for years over the barrage of rockets falling on the south of Israel. In fact it was more like "Nudge, nudge, wink, wink" in the souks and alleyways of Damascus, Cairo, Beirut et.al. There are a lot of mixed messages coming out of Turkey over the last twelve months. It can be a big player in the Middle East peace game if it plays its shesh-besh correctly. Some recalibration needs to occur pronto.

Were these people trying to run a blockade?  YES.  Was there a demonstrable need for "humanitarian" relief for the Gaza strip?  NO.  Has the Gaza strip been used to launch military and terrorist strikes against Israel?  YES.  Is the Gaza strip so radicalized that they are essemtially at war with their "brothers" on the West Bank?  YES.

And this is the mess these troublemakers stuck their heads into.  No country enforcing a blockade will let that blockade be run through.  Was this conveniently timed at the time where Israeli satellite intelligence was picking up the movement of ballistic missiles into position to strike at Israel so that attention would be shifted away from Syria's and Hezbolla's aggressive moves?  Is the deploynent of nuclear-armed Israeli subs off the coast of Iran perhaps a warning that if missles rain down on Israel the source of the missiles will be held accountable?

As I said elsewhere, the key in all this is to see how Israel's relations with Turkey degenerate. The IDF screwed up here, they acted with brute force, as they typically do, but it really wasn't warranted. We will be discussing Israel and Palestine till we die. It's really a hopeless cause. Too bad, because I really do believe that most Israelis and Palestinians genuinely want to live in peace.

One more thing: I tell off my friends who blame "the f*cking Jews" for all the world's ills. The issues in the Middle East are not going to resolved easily, but when Israeli commandos act like war criminals, then they're not helping their cause or bolstering world sympathy.

The Jewish Holocaust was a terrible humanitarian crime, but so is what is going on in Gaza today.  Of course it's not the same thing, but you'd expect enlightened Jews to be a little more sympathetic to humanitarian needs.

All I know is you can't go on oppressing people while you throw out empty rhetoric on peace. It amazes me how shortsighted Israel's policy is in this regard. If they truly want Israel to prosper in peace, then they absolutely need to reverse course or ultimately risk self-destruction.

The key to all this is how Turkey's relations with the West have been degenerating.  Turkey, because of its strategic location, has always been the prize.  Turkey is part of NATO for Heaven's sake!  But now, under the watchful and idiotic, moronic and incredibly naive  eye of the Administration, Turkey is making overtures to Iran and is openly supporting a movement that the UNited States has labeled (with good reason) a terrorist organization.

Well, NATO following the breakup of the Soviet Union isn't all that useful.   Turkey had a role there, in that time, but that time is past, and Turkey is transitioning from a secular governed islamic country towards an islamic state.   That's sprouting out of the ballot box, which itself is shifting thanks to changing demography.  The less educated, conservative Turks (in the Islamotard sense of conservative) have been out breeding the the western leaning, secular element.    The results look inevitable at this point.   The Europeans are right to cook up excuses for delaying the integration into the EU.   They have enough problems of their own with the rise of Islam in their own populations as it is.

"Turkey is transitioning from a secular governed islamic country towards an islamic state."

This is deeply concerning because Turkey always prided itself on its secular foundations. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk would never have accepted this religious shift or any radical shift towards an Islamic state.

Expect to be more disturbed twenty years from now, because most of Europe is on the same path.

The US (former Bush and current Obama administrations) and the EU governments

along with full team of EU bureaucrats have been unconditionally supporting

Islamist AKP and its increasingly despotic leader, Erdogan, and religious cult

leader Fethullah Gulen to showcase Turkey as a 'moderately islamic' country to the rest

of the Muslim world.

Stauncly secular Turkish Military and secular parties (CHP and others) have been

abondoned by Neocons as Islamists were going left and right to do whatever

appease Neocons (Cheney, Abromovitz, etc.) so that they could come into power

and hold onto it as if it is more difficult in a country that has been founded on

secular base by no other than Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

Now, let's come to this so called 'humanitarian organization' IHH, meaning in

Turkish also 'humanitarian help organization' founded by strict, devout followers

of religious cult leader, Fethullah Gulen, who happens to be residing (guess where??)

in Saylosburg, Pennslyvania. Yeap, as he was granted Green Card by the US.

His references in his green card applications range from former CIA agent George Fidas

to former US Ambassador to Turkey Morton Abromovitz.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&add...

And, these so called 'Humanitarian' organizations collect money from devout

Muslims montly in developed countries such as Germany, Holland, and the UK

to help poor Muslims across the globe. However, truth is they channel monies

to their islamist political associations and parties (such as the ruling party of AKP

in Turkey).

I, do not defend Israel's disproportionate use of power in international

waters at all but this side of the story needs to be learned as well, imo.

This story has more background info than it seems that needs to be known

by the public.

actually I've just seen some video released by IDF taken from a helicopter above as the boarding party arrives, and they are clearly atttacked by an organised group. At one stage they appear to be attempting to take one of the Israeli commandos as a hostage.

http://www.businessinsider.com/israeli-flotilla-crisis-2010-5

check out the second video

i reckon these were your run of the mill Turkish anarchists who did not realise that the Israelis will not fuck around where their personnel are threatened.

Oh well, changes things as far as im concerned.

If you board a ship, armed and uninvited, in international waters, with the intent to seize the ship, that is the definition of PIRACY.  It is right, proper and lawful to resist acts of piracy.

Yes or No?

Your appology is like saying "We saw the crew of the USS Liberty trying to resist the flames.  As such, we needed to give them another dose or two of napalm."

Many extreme left-wing socialists are seriously deluded individuals. The fact that some people even vote for them shows the pitfalls of democracy.
