Going Gilligans Island

Jack H Barnes's picture

“Title IV, Subtitle B, Part 2, Section 426, of the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 states: ‘An eligible worker (specifically, workers who lose their jobs as a result of this measure) may receive a climate change adjustment allowance under this subsection for a period of not longer than 156 weeks…80 percent of the monthly premium of any health insurance coverage…up to a maximum payment of $1,500 in relocation allowance…and job search expenses not exceed[ing] $1,500.’”

Is it me, or is this place getting ready for a really bad turn of events? Maybe its time to find a carbon dead end job, and get some benifits stored up to claim, so I can join the cast of Gilliagan and go carbon neutral in style while calling in my unemployement claim from the boat.

A Garden of Piggish Delights

50 reasons to hate this pork of Crap n' Tax

"

The stimulus bill was the legislative equivalent of the famous cantina scene fromStar Wars, an eye-popping collection of the freakish and exotic, gathered for dubious purposes. The Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill, known as ACES (the American Clean Energy and Security Act), is more like the third panel in Hieronymus Bosch’sGarden of Earthly Delights — a hellscape that disturbs the sleep of anybody who contemplates it carefully. "

Warning, if you read all 50 reasons to hate this new bill ... there will be projectile vomiting on your screen.

This Cap & Trade innovation, if completed, will be about as bad as the Tax Code.  It will result in a new breed of blood sucking bureaucrats, mother fucking lobbyists, cock sucking consultant-ants, and stifling overhead for the only productive industries still alive in America.

Fucking Traitors!!!!!!!!!!
