Gold Over $1,450, Silver $39

Tyler Durden's picture

Nobody could have foreseen this. Nobody. In other news, Ben Bernanke has just ordered an extra absorbent set of Huggies.

Time for some force majeure announcements from the TBTFs.

One of the greatest compliments ever paid to this white boy was "he works like a messican"

There's plenty of white boys out there that are just like me.

You people that like to sell Americans short need to get out more. That American Idol bullshit is way overused.

Half a pound of tuppenny rice,
Half a pound of treacle.
That’s the way the money goes,
Pop! goes the weasel.[1]

Often a second verse is added:

Every night when I get home
The monkey's on the table,
Take a stick and knock it off,
Pop! goes the weasel.[1]

You should be sad - sad because of what it means for the U.S. and sad because you didn't use more leverage and make a larger bet.

I'm equally sad the captcha still produces incorrect equations.

I'm calling up local sellers, everybody is absolutely right: physical is GONE. G-O-N-E. everybody pointed me to a different seller who was also out of silver. i finally found ONE. i asked them all their thoughts. they said i was on the right track, and that it should definitely at least hit 60 bucks, just off of the gold/silver ratio. that's another 50% gain from today. of course, that is very conservative, i think. if or when the JPM short squeeze happens, it will be much better.

The Benster didn't explain what he meant by "transitory". What he meant was that inflation will occur, being careful to not say how high it will go, and then after everything hits the fan (read: "crisis"), the Fed will come in to save the day from the disaster they created. That's what he meant by transitory...

Silver $39.20, Gold $1452.40 per Yahoo! finance.

No fancy Bloomberg dashboard required.  I am so screwed.  JPM already got all my money, and contracts on me for years.  Hyperinflation sounds good because my debts are pegged at 2007 dollars, but I don't expect my wages to keep up (they never do).

Since September 2001 Silver has increased in value 960%.  8000% or more in returns looks realistic now.

In my internet scouring's; best bang for the buck at lowest premium be war nickels .35, 100 pesos .72 77-80, and the first dedicated 1ozt ag round (best of breed) scales/press 49/77-80. .925. The Mestizo peoples had their shit together in coinage, for they stamped purity and weight.
