Gold Takes Out All Limit Orders To Hit Fresh All Time High $1,307. Next Stop: $1,500?

Tyler Durden's picture

The Fed thinks it can destroy the dollar? Sure they can. Too bad fewer and fewer people actually give a rat's ass anymore. Gold just took out the $1,300 psychological barrier. Next stop, as predicted earlier today by BofA's Widmer: $1,500.

Today is my son's 3rd birthday, how many 3 year old's get 2 ounces of gold from dad?  It's better than that shitty 529 plan I had started for him.

I have been taking my (10 and 2) girls bonds, purchased by their great grandfather for them, cashing them out and then buying silver and gold whenever possible.

I always wondered why my grandmother was giving us kids silver back in the day.  She went through the great depression and told me this was real money.

Impressive!  I thought I was a high roller giving each of my nephews a roll of silver rounds each, every Christmas.  They know it's money and they have an idea it's a lot. They wanted to put it in their piggy banks, but my sister was having none of it :)

haha not a high roller just decided to ditch his 529 and get him gold and silver instead and pad it a little.  I think he has more than I do now all together.

Don't count on The New York Times running a front page or even business section headline on $1300 gold. but surely Paul Krugman will be grousing about it in his column.  Are there no gold bugs at the NYT or Wall Street Urinal?
