Good morning, worker drones: This Week in Mayhem
by Project Mayhem

Helloooo worker drones. Here is a little haiku for your Monday:

Calm as Hindu cows.
But, this is Project Mayhem.
He loves support groups

Paint a self-portrait,
We've just lost cabin presssure.
It's out of our hands.

Something on your mind?
This is how we fill our lives.
Fight Club franchises.

It's an addiction
Insurance will cover it
Work. Going to work.

Vampire Squid feeds now
on the fading middle class
This is a chemical burn

We accept our fate
I wasn't really dying
Come back to the pain

And you're going to lose...
Zerohedge likes to gamble
Do not fuck with us

Economic:

Okayz!! Last week's economic news was quite voluptuous, but ultimately ended up going nowhere. A shame considering how beautiful the economic femme fatale was, singing her seductive melody of the brewing potential for a crash. Oh , I'm willing to wait. This siren is going to leave carnage on the shore when the tide goes out.

Patience is a virtue. Indeed, This hallucinated economy is definitely going to be full of lulz when the shit finally hits the fan. Oh I dunno give it a few weekz. NE wayz , so last week, basically the US Lol-Dollar continued its terminal decline, Tyler broke like twenty news stories  and handed them to the lapdog press who didn't do shit, Mish said Told ya so 'bout deflation and said he likes the Lol-Dollar, TPTB continued their attempts to manage the price of gold with pretend computer pixels, Rob Kirby and Antal Fekete both insisted gold is in stealth backwardation ( Project Mayhem agrees), Jim Willie wrote a new article in his usual colorful language predicting the fail whale will eat the USA, Denninger went long the US Spacebuck via call options either in an act of genius or lunacy, and George Ure insisted that the future-predicting spooky web-bots had proclaimed today, Monday Oct 26 , the epicenter of serious economic dislocation. So I got up early to see this supposed catastrophe predicted by random internet crash-prediction spiders, and from where I sit everything looks normal, and the web-bots look retarded.  That is, besides Obama and his declared failflu pandemic "national emergency" of course. But who knows , the web bots are usually early to the party. Where's my chaos, Cliff?!

Geopolitical:

So last Friday Obama declared a national emergency due to failflu, which basically allows hospitals to send patients elsewhere , to places such as "armories" to quote the NYT. Whatever the hell that means! Here at Zerohedge we rolled our eyes then lol'd. Despite the general idiocy of a drooling degenerate American public, last week we basically had a "ZOMG THERES NO VACCINE" media-engineered freakout moment. Of course, this was a somewhat contrived event , because a solid 33% - 50% of the "terminally-brain-damanged-yet-still-vaguely-conscious" American public refuse to impale themselves on the pharmaceutical garbage needle , somehow knowing deep down in their black little hearts this vaccine nonsense doesn't even work anyway (weak B-cell antibody titer in 50% of recipients is a pretty low bar, dudes!). **Note to HHS Secretary Sebelius, Email me I will send you my Immunology textbook so u can see how B-cells are the Ford Pintos of the immune system. ITS ALL ABOUT THE HELPER T-CELLS, KATHY.

Sometimes I wonder if our government can get any more corrupt... but then a new day arrives, and some official runs their mouth at a corporate-sponsored conference, and I realize that YES actually , our government can indeed get even more corrupt! Future surprises will be consistently to the downside!  But , you ask, so what about the failflu?: well fellow drone, if it worsens (which the government seems to be expecting), broad-spectrum antivirals (not vaccines) are where it's at. That will become clear sooner or later, despite the vapid and deceitful pronouncements of our lapdog officials.

Okay so we have reviewed how most of the idiot public won't take the shot, and will no doubt be better off without it.  Novartis, GSK, Medimmune, CSL, and Sanofi Pasteur have already made off with Uncle Sugar's billions so if you haven't bought your options yet you are late to the party, barn door open, horsies GONE!.  Which brings me to my soapbox, since your options are already in the money:   ** Note to Big Pharma re: vaccines: Try purifying the Avian Leukosis Virus and the Reverse Transcriptase out of the vaccines you idiots -- no one wants to inject themselves with that crap. Srsly.

Okay so back to fluconomics -- so last week there was a bunch of insider trading on a company called BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:BCRX) , who got FD-Ghey (FDA) emergency use authorization for their crappy intravenous neuraminidase inhibitor "Peramivir" that barely works -- the same week Obama declared failflu a national emergency. Hey Board of Directors at Biocryst!  Do you guys have friends in the FDA or something? How Can I get in on this insider trading stuff? Project Mayhem has to pay his bills you know... throw some of that corruption my way, I need to eat...

Okay ZH readers, I know you want some hot INSIDER tips on how to profit from the failflu pandemic. Forget vaccines. We all know that's just a scam for Novartis, Baxter, GlaxoSmithKline, etc and you've already bought the call options on these bastards anywayz. Forget neuraminidase inhibitors. They are all total crap druqs anyway , and Rumsfeld has gone home with his millions from Gilead Bioscience (NASDAQ:GILD). What we want here is the V for Vendetta anti-failflu money-making pill!! And it sure as hell ain't Tamiflu!

What is this pill, you ask> IT IS is T-705, from Toyama Pharmaceutical!!! Yes , T-705 is an orally administered influenza polymerase inhibitor (way more useful than Tamiflu) patented and manufactured by Toyama Pharmaceutical of Japan (are they on the Nikkeii? someone check plz, lets make some yen!!) . Japan I would be most honored to be a guest! So this T-705 , the little flu destroyer , is scheduled for Phase III clinical trials by the end of 2009!  Perfect timing!  All hail the new Tamiflu!  No doubt it will not be cheap!

Incidentally, A friend of mine called Toyama in Japan to get a sample of T-705, and the people on the phone got really suspicious, which means it must be good since Toyama won't share a sample for GC/MS and rodent dosing!! Sounds greedy to me but what do I know.

Okay so let the failflu monetary speculation begin!! Who says chaos can't be fun and profitable??  Leave your hot pandemic stock tips in the comment section!  Bonus points if they are shadowy defense contractors!  Also, Forward them to Jim  Cramer too , so we make sure the boys at Vampire Squid get wind of them!

Btw Toyama I have dibs on the carbon-thio derivative of T-705. ITS NON-OBVIOUS , thus, mine to give away off-patent!  Sorry guys!

Project Mayhem releases a non-obvious, off-patent, influenza polymerase inhibitor that works on paper!

T-705, manufactured by Toyama Pharmaceutical of Japan, is totally the "V for Vendetta" flu pill --  lolz  -- lets get some HFT on Fujifilm Holdings , kthx!

PM any comments on the 72 WHO memo? Is this tin hat land or a long term plan coming to fruition?

http://www.fightbackh1n1.com/2009/08/who-memos-1972-explains-how-to-turn.html

Seems the government is really interested in giving us alot of flu shots in a hurry. Interesting how governments are ordering squalene free for staffers. Let's not forget Michelle "You are not gonna inject my kids with that poison" Obama, oh wait its "my kids are not on the priority list to receive it". HA

PM

I am ticked off at myself to think i might have missed some of your posts!  Really enjoyed it!

Do you expand your knowledge of immunology, pharmacology and chemistry ( and all other related disciplines) for investing as a full time avocation, or do you work in one of these fields and do your investing as a sideline?

What do you think about using an cystine or methionine, in an immunotherapy to treat lupus?  I know that this is a controversial treatment for some other disease, but i thought it was an interesting idea worthy of someone's time and grants.

With all you have written here, i am just thinking you may know a little about this.  I don't know much, but i know that sulfur based medicines can trigger lupus and that made me think that since lupus is an "autoimmune" disease, maybe somehow folks with lupus may have some strange "allergy" to their own cellular structures and cystine and methionine have the sulfur most available...ok, just a thought, and i am wondering if you have any thoughts on the matter.

PM I have a healthy history of self medicating. last year I could feel myself coming down with flu symptoms. I began taking valtrex twice a day ( hey it works on herpes).I also quarrantined myself and made chicken soup. symptoms did not progress.  any thouts?

Mon, 10/26/2009 - 20:11 | 111067 Project Mayhem
Project Mayhem's picture

Valtrex won't work, herpes is not a DNA  (not RNA) virus.  I'd make garlic/onion and/or mushroom based soups, and get your hands on interferon inducers.  Three I know of off hand are Arbidol , Del-immune V, and beta-glucans.  Thats Just my 2c though

About the web bots by Clif at HPH: It might help to remember the ALTAs track language on the internet, not events. The nifty thing that Clif High discovered with his radical linguistics project (over a decade ago I think) was that language PRECEDES events. It doesn't follow them. That's kind of cool because it means the Hive Mind is a little bit psychic.

10/25-26 is/was to mark a significant shift in LANGUAGE on the internet, specifically about the banking/finance failboat we're all in, which means something FAIL about the LOLdollar is definitely around the corner. So there is still time for chaos, dear Mayhem. The web bots are not retarded.

I guess we have an answer on the oil future action of a few days ago

http://www.philly.com/inquirer/world_us/20091026_Puerto_Rican_fire_probed.html

Edit: Along with http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125656432870408055.html?mod=WSJ_hpp_LEFTTopStories

Who would blow up a couple of truck bombs and would try to destablize Iraq. Who would profit in the oil market from a terror threat and place massive short term bets. We have 3 choices

a. the US

b. c'mon guess

c. both

I am thinking that this line of thinking is no longer tin hat. It's time the world throws the above perps a blanket party.

Your congenor for T-705 won't work.  Sterically too clunky.  F is tiny in comparison to all the other junk and can slip through.  What might work is another F at the ortho position.

Thanks.  I think it might work, it might not be too bulky and nonpolar... then again, those little carbons chains have lots of degrees off freedom to rotate so who knows...

NYS Halts Mandatory Vaccines As Goldman Sachs Connection Exposed

More..

Albany, NY - Oct 23, 2009. NYS State Health Commisioner Dr. Richard Daines has suspended the controversial mandatory influenza immunization requirement for New York health care workers, citing a shortage of vaccine supplies as the main reason. The halt in the regulation also comes a day after popular upstate NY WGY radio personality Al Roney exposed the connection of Linda Daines, Commissioner Daines's wife, as a manager of private client services of Wall Street finance firm Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs was the largest shareholder and brokered a 2007 $15 billion sale of the vaccine giant MedImmune. Roney called upon his listeners to contact NY State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to open an investigation of a potential conflict of interest between the mandatory vaccine regulation for over 500,000 NY healthcare workers and potential profit for Goldman Sachs.

I'm pretty sure I had H1N1 last flu season already. Never had a nastier flu bug in my life. Probably many people had it and treated it like any other flu. If there were any deaths, how many times would hospitals or doctors bother to identify the flu strain? Death by flu is not uncommon.

No vaccines for my family, please. Save the needles for the next sucker.

Tetrasilver tetraoxide (Ag4O4)
