Guest Post: The Dangers Of A Failed Presidency
The Dangers of a Failed Presidency
By Michael Krieger, of KAM LP
If moderation is a fault then indifference is a crime.

-Buddha
Having fallen from the eternal, the Evil One's desires are endless, insatiable. Having fallen from pure Being, he is driven by the desire to possess, to fill his emptiness. But the problem is insoluble, always. He is compelled to have and to hold, to possess and consume, and nothing else. All he takes, he destroys. Certainly he rules the material, as he is called the Prince of this World in the gospels - but only of the things of this world.
-Denis de Rougemont
I have been calling Barrack Obama’s Presidency a failure for at least six months now and it seems that I now have considerable company in this assessment as it becomes obvious to most. It is not a failure because of the Republicans. It is not a failure because of events beyond his control. It is a failure because this was a man that filled a depressed and downtrodden nation with the audacity of hope. When I voted for the man I knew it was against my personal financial interests. It was clear what he would do with taxes. Nevertheless, I got to the polls and voted for this fifth avenue creation thinking maybe, just maybe he might do some of the things he said. Most important to me were two issues related to the military-industrial complex (see Eisenhower’s warning on this during his Farewell Address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y06NSBBRtY) and civil liberties. George W Bush was turning America into a depressed police state with perpetual war and consolidation of power between a corporate oligarchy and entrenched political class. A nation where the masses voluntarily gave up many of the liberties the founding fathers fought for merely to ease the fear that consumed them and which was propagated by the administration and the media. I and many others that voted for him even though they disagreed strongly with his economic policies thought he would at least reverse this trend. Why did we think this? Cause he said so. How foolish we were.
That being said, the real answer was certainly not John McCain as I think we would be in just as bad shape with him. I think that what this experience has taught us is that the President of the United States answers to others behind the scene. There are many theories on who these others are but I will keep it very simple. There is clearly a power elite that consists of a union between big corporate and financial oligarchs and career bureaucrats in Washington D.C. These are the folks that pull the strings of all administrations. All you have to do is look at the trends that have been in place since George W Bush and continue under Obama to see what these players want. Bigger government and thus more Federal power, more wealth for the oligarchs (thank you Federal Reserve) and an erosion of the middle class, and reduction of civil liberties in the name of the 1984-like never-ending “war on terror.” I believe in a war on terror of my own. A war against the terror that Washington D.C. is constantly trying to inject into your head so that you sheepishly give away all you rights and power to them. That’s my war on terror.
Ok, so what do I mean by “The Dangers of a Failed Presidency.” I mean that it is July of an election year and Obama’s magic spell that held sway over the American people and the world for about three months has completely washed away. I mean that the printed money mirage recovery that we have had to tragically watch is ending and we have no job growth to speak of other than a few hundred thousand census workers. The public has no appetite for more spending and Bernanke has no cover to print more money (yet). As such, if people think things are in freefall now for this administration just wait and see how the next several months pan out. This then brings me to the following quote:
The bottom line here is that Americans don’t believe in President Obama’s leadership,” says Rob Shapiro, another former Clinton official and a supporter of Mr Obama. “He has to find some way between now and November of demonstrating that he is a leader who can command confidence and, short of a 9/11 event or an Oklahoma City bombing, I can’t think of how he could do that.”
I found this quote in an FT article earlier in the week and it sent chills all over my body. This is how the strategists in Washington D.C. think. They are sick, twisted people. This guy doesn’t even realize how sick and twisted what he said is which is why he said it. Imagine what they say off the record! You can take this quote in many different ways but none of them are good. I am not going to say anything beyond the fact that I would be VERY suspicious if some sort of event occurred before the elections. Google the term “false flag.” Also remember Rahm Emmanuel’s famous quote of “you don’t ever want a crisis to go to waste; it’s an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid.” Think about this deeply. This doesn’t mean do what the public wants, or follow the constitution. It means that that those pulling the strings of power have the opportunity to do what THEY want, what fits THEIR ideology. Hitler is the most famous modern example of a leader that used a crisis to form his fascist state. Again, I am not talking about Obama in isolation. I am referring to the power structure that has been firmly in place since the 9/11 attacks. Many call it a silent coup. I agree with this assessment.
This email is not meant to create fear. It is actually meant to get people ready if things get crazy for whatever reason. It is a challenge to people. I challenge everyone to think about how they would react should another terrorist attack or something along those lines occur. I was there for 9/11 and I saw the buildings go down in person. I know what it was like to be manipulated by my own government and media in the wake of such an emotional trauma. I also see that what we have done since, with things such as the Patriot Act and two wars that are still ongoing, and I have reflected on how they have changed America for the worse and provided a fertile ground for the elite to take away more of our rights and our wealth. So my rallying cry is that we must be strong and fearless in the face of fearful events. In the wake of anything that may occur in the years ahead we must not react on emotion and NEVER give away our inalienable rights in the name of protection from big brother. Be fearless, strong and resolute. Spend more time with your neighbors and build things up at the local level. If we have those supports then we will be less inclined to cry to the magicians in D.C. and the Federal Reserve for “help.”

http://www.whitehouse.gov/the_press_office/Message-from-the-President-regarding-the-emergency-declared-with-respect-to-the-September-11-2001-terrorist-attacks/
From the White House's own website. All sorts of legal shennanigans can take place once the country is declared in a "state of emergency," which it has been in since 9/11.
I tell people about this and many simply don't believe me. I started carrying around the WH release you highlight above and people have accused me of "using photo shop" to make it up. When I offer them the web link they refuse it.
Others will look at it and say "I still don't believe it" or "There must be some kind of mistake". A friend told me last month that because it doesn't make sense, it must not be true. This person has a MBA.
When reality doesn't fit with our preconceived notions of how the world really works, reject reality and sleep better at night.
My wife, god bless her soul, is one of those very people. She's a physican who has no problem understanding nuclear physics, but doesn't understand why I read these "conspiracy theories." Last time she said that, I broke the plane. I told that it was fine if she didn't want to be aware, and that I'd take care of what needed to be done for our family, but that she should never insult me with a label that implies that I am somehow less than sane because I don't buy the "official" story that is nicely fed to us. Just for fun, I brought up the fact that it is widely known and documented that our government has long been engaging in weapons smuggling and drug running operations in order to achieve their objectives both here and abroad. Just so she could have a concrete example, I told her to read up on the Iran-Contra affairs. She promptly pulled up her laptop, and about 60 seconds later, she said "I don't understand any of this", closed the laptop, and dropped the subject entirely.
Whenever I discuss these things with her, I can see it in her face that it shakes the core of who she is and what she believes this country and our government is about. Nevertheless, I know that she doesn't think I'm that crazy, because when it came time to hedge our paper life with PMs, purchase and train ourselves to use firearms, build a solid supply of food, and learn to garden, she always said to do what I felt needed to be done for our family. Like I always say... cognitive dissonance is a bitch! ; )
Deja vu
isn't it amazing how a press release weighs more than the constitution. Greed motivates most of this but somewhere I believe, these folks justify this with the actual "emergency" of peak oil. If only they'd play it straight, we might have built something by now.
Come on... people had jobs because the world was living on credit and the US was living off our status as the world's reserve currency. It was a mirage. There is no credit to Bush on that. The medicine that our country should have taken with debt deleveraging that started in 2000 was pushed down the road by the creation of a housing bubble. Take the red pill... before it's too late.
you and so many others conveniently forget that all the dems vigorously argued that saddam had WMD and needed to be stopped -clinton, kerry, kennedy all of them (look at the youtube evidence). Bush repeatedly attempted to downsize fannie and freddie and was rebuffed by dems every time. Bush eavesdropped on terrorists so I guess if you are a terrorist you might complain about loss of liberties. obama is on the net, warrantlessly searching ordinary citizens phone calls, forcing people to buy insurance, scanning at airports and invading every aspect of personal liberty. he has praised islam and apologized for america
For those who have eyes to see and the will to look, Obama has succeded in advancing the NWO's cause.
Pity, as the USA looked like the last country standing for liberty, property rights and justice for all citizens.
I am as bummed out about Obama as anyone. But, looking back, Bush WAS so bad.
the country did NOT run well. It was during that time that the housing and leverage bubbles built up, the very definition of poor leadership. Remember patriot acts, afghanistan, iraq, military commissions act, more federal debt built up than in the 200 years prior, and Katrina, for starters. Jeez.
Obama's presidency would be viewed as a failure short term no matter what he did because the problem is so immense. But he could have made choices that would have put this country on firmer footing for the future and he did not. He instead chose to bury us deeper in the hole.
+1 Donnie. The first thing to do when you're in a hole is to quit digging.
Citizens of the US need to stop comparing the good-ness or bad-ness of a president according to the previous administration, and start comparing a candidate's worth to the ideals in our founding documents.
well said
keating,
Whatever Bush was................he was far better than what we have now.( He has done NOT one positive thing for this country, nothing).
Also, people tend to forget, Bush did not invade IRAQ, just on his own intel, or lack therof.
ALL the NATO Allies, and the U.N.,agreed there was proof of WOMD.
There is also anecdotes, that SadMan, HAD them, and had them moved to Syria prior to the attack.
We will never know..........
We just know the PLAYA's, ALL need to be replaced with NEW fresh faces, and believers in America, as it was meant to be.
I think the GOP, is going to be in for a RUDE awakening in November(if we have an election), they are going to get a lot more NEW faces in their slots also............and NOT one's the GOP establishment wants(already happening).
The Dems, are screwed.............no doubt..........and rightly so.
Never in my long life, have I seen ONE Congress do more damage to our country, than this one..NONE ever before it either.
IF all stays as is.
Also, people tend to forget, Bush did not invade IRAQ, just on his own intel, or lack therof.
There is another pristine. perfect example of willful self-delusion.
Bush didn't invade Iraq? His intel did? What?!
And Bush didn't say "mission accomplished." The banner did. It's the banner's fault.
Get a fucking clue!
+1000000
fukn banners!
Red - Dos didn't say that Bush's intel invaded Iraq. His sentence was akward, perhaps, but it is not saying what you make it to say. Better maybe: Bush wasn't the only one who believed in the validity of the available intel. Other countries believed the intel was valid as well.
Actually other countries did not believe in the validity of the available intel:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1166479.ece
The ironic thing the intel was correct....couldn't actually come up with any because they would have MADE IN THE USA stamped all over them.....we supplied all the WMD's to Saddam (CIA flunkee) to go after Iran. We did that because the Iranians had the nerve to boot out the US installed Shah who reigned with blood & terror for 26 years. Google Operation AJAX
....probably believe we are occupying 186 of the 201 UN recognized countries in the world all in the name of "spreading democracy"....which ironically is just a transition stage between Republic and Oligarchy.
Looking back, Bush wasn't so bad. He was stupid about Iraq, and stupid about banks and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,
that's it? Well then he wasn't so bad that cost only what like 10 trillion, oooppps
no not that bad really
Voting for republicans is NOT the answer.
I would suggest you support ONLY independent & third-party candidates.
Each time you frame your point/discussion in terms of R vs. D or red vs. blue, you expose yourself as a rube, a stooge, a victim.
R = D.
D = R.
It's a one-party system. This must change. Voting R or D changes nothing... obviously.
Wake up.
Vote with your wallet - STOP PAYING FEDERAL TAXES. It's not a one-all solution; but it's a good first step that sends a serious message to international investors to stop feeding the beast.
Hard for me to do buddy, as I am stuck in the System via trusts for my beneficiaries, etc.
I can buy Gold, send money overseas for legit & legal investments, etc.
EVERYONE here has to look out for No. 1. .gov is a big-time parasite who will bring down the unwary...
Buy Gold, physical with cash, and stay under the radar... Think diversification as wide as possible, even if it means investing in another universe!
Does anyone remember another instance of so many on both sides labeling "failed presidency" before? After just 1.5 years. President Paris Hilton is plunging and in need of the PPT.
It's looking more and more like someone such as Ron Paul will win the next one, assuming there is a fair count.
"It's looking more and more like someone such as Ron Paul will win the next one..."
Love your optimism!
I/we are certainly doing our part to restore the republic, via RP and all other Constitutionally-minded candidates. The november midterm election should be interesting, to say the least. I expect to see 10-15% independent/3rd-party victory/representation at local & state levels. Such momentum would translate nicely across local/state/national elections in 2012.

I'm trying hard to just look at the trends without letting what i want to see fool me, but RP's support is growing and I seem to remember some polls show him already beating Obama in a rematch. But I kind of thought this before and was wrong. Any big event could tip things one way or another.
Hey, I'D LOVE a Ron Paul or Peter Schiff or Marc Faber presidency...I'd also love a handjob from Halle Berry.
None of the above is likely to happen.
As for a fair count? You're going to see voter fraud in 2012 the likes of which would make Hamid Karzai blush with embarassment.
I don't even know what "likely" is anymore. 2012 is a very long two years away. But I'll try to do more than just hope that you're not right.
Why even screw around with voting....EO in February set the stage for martial law....10 governors - 10 FEMA regions....all reporting to Sec of Def who reports to the Pres.
Michael Krieger is correct. This has never been a war ON terror, but a war OF terror, and it has been waged against the American people by TPTB. And we all know who they are, don't we Jamie, Jeff, Lloyd, Rubin, Larry, Ben, Tim, Harry, Nancy, Mitch, Boner, Bahney, Shelby, Dubya, Dickya, Herr Karl...?
most you list are scripted act-ors, bit part walk ons. . .
it's the people who write the script, that you have no names for - those are the real people who have overtaken this nation, and others. . .
though personally I believe it's too late - END THE FED.
I liked this article and gave it 5 stars, but this:
seems to me proof of paranoia. ANYTHING that happens before the elections is automatically grounds for paranoia and proof of a false flag? FFS, at least wait until AFTER things have happened and find out if they are actually false flags or not.
(Enraged 9-11 conspiracy theorists coming out of the woodwork in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...)
"seems to me proof of paranoia". That is unless you used to work in a certain Aspirin factory that got bombed on 9/21/98
I think we're more at the point of laughing at you, maybe with a tear.
Give me a break troll.. Your attempt to gain consensus here is futile. The vast majority know what time it is on this site..
I use to believe 9/11 was a terrorist plot.. Then I woke up.. The numbers who think like you are dwindling while the numbers that think like me are growing exponentially.. There is a reason for that.. Think on it.. Are you Mossad or CIA ?.. just wondering..
Missing --link, you do live up to your name. I hope you find the other end of your chain
LOL
After the euphoria of the inauguration when many thought that it really was a "new deal" something very strange happened. The cabinet and other key appointees where "business as usual in DC"
Timmy's appointment to me was absolutely fucking astounding.
But you know, Larry, Gates etc. etc. etc.
NOVEMBER INCUMBENT BLOODBATH !!!! MAKE IT HAPPEN !!!
Let's makethe velocity of the musical chairs game so fast that they all start to vomit. Make it more than the crooks can endure!
...to the tune of Reign in Blood. On 78rpm.
Rip,
Exactly, for those of us with memories, look back, and do a check off, on HOW many Ex GS employee's, were on GWB's cabinet, or payroll, and now in Da' bummer's.........HELLO?
Literally?... Ohhh boy... I got wood when I saw that.. LOL
"NOVEMBER INCUMBENT BLOODBATH !!!!"
Yep it will happen, for better or worse, and then we're in for a world of hurt.
We are anyway. Even if one seat does not turn over.
all these people who drank the koolaid and voted on "hope" and lies. now they want to give advice - no thanks
how about some apologies for voting in obama and destroying our country
Agreed. All you morons who voted for Obongo should be ashamed of that fact - please keep it to yourself, we know you're an idiot without your mea culpa.
And if you're one of those mouth-brteathers who get so excited about your rulers that you put a 0bama bumper sticker on your car, you get to wear a scarlet I for idiot through the next election.
+100
McCain would have been better? Some folks tend to forget who would have been occupying the Oval Office instead. When recommending someone's removal, please propose a substitute for the person removed. When criticising one's vote, please advocate for the alternative.
Dr. Paul was the only candidate I contributed to.
Rocky,
While he was not my first choice, I am politically astute enough to know, he would/could on NO WAY be as bad as what we have, and especially with a Dem controlled Congress.
BTW, haven't seen anyone the NEW info (it's a tad off topic, but relevant to me), on the election of the Al Franken?.
Seems he won after a VERY prolonged re-count(ballots in a trunk), and still came up short, after weeks and weeks, finally MORE ballots were found.
He won, after the final re-count by like 311 votes.............
Yesterday, seems proof that 350+ FELONS in prison voted in that election...........how convienent.
I KNOW they are members of the GOP.
Oh yes Palin and Mc cain would have done sooo much better. This is bejond politics now. You all best figure out how to live with core exit (poison) in your dayli lives. it will indeed come to all of our houses, even mine on the west coast. There is no need to be alarmist, merely honest and factual.
Its going into the ocean which produces 70% of the oxygen. it kills everything. Dumm ass humans piss me off. For crists sake, when you all gonna get your head outa your ass and DO something
One old fart in oregon. Dumm asses!
Disclaimer: I am not human, own nothing on earth,my temporary body is expiring and i love you all.
Forgot to mention..the coreexit is coming down with the rain and the evidence is coming in and the air is putting folk in the hospital
mere,
Corexit, was used LONG before it was in the Gulf............by BP, and others.
Matter of fact, I would not be the least bit surprised that a few other of our world neighbors have not used it also.
Plus, If your not Human, you cannot type, nor do Captcha's.(:>)
Between that and people eating fast food more once a day no wonder we have so many health problems these days. I wouldn't be surprised if they were caught spraying chemicals over cities just to see what would happen. Deny. Deny. Deny.
This is probably the largest use of Corexit in history - all in public view. Never authorized to start spraying, told by FDA to stop, still spraying. Get the hell out of there!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W_szJ6M-kM
hmm, can't decide whether you're being coy / sarcastic with your
but what the hell, it's certainly a cue!
of course, there have been many stories of gov't spraying populations, various excuses / reasons - but the past ten years have seen a huge increase in "persistent contrails" (aka "chemtrails" to bring attention to the chemicals spayed, including barium, aluminium CHAFF, various microbes, spores etc.) - gov'ts have history with testing chemicals on the populace, amrka's famous for "downwinders" nuclear cloud dispersals over southern Utah in particular. . . I have loads of links, have posted a few here when the thread seems to merit. . . the gov't is very interested in "control of the weather" (Operation Control the Weather searched online brings up lots of stuff to peruse ^^)
Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025 by Col Tamzy, J. House, Lt Col, James B. Near, Ltc William B. Shields (usa), Maj Ronald, J. Celentano, Maj David, M. Husband, Maj Ann, E. Mercer, Maj James, E. Pugh. 1996
I'm sure they've our best interests in mind. . .

bottom line? with jobs being sent "overseas" those who pull the strings see little use for excess populations, hm? and if we're going to be forced to buy "health care" - best if we're really sick, right? it's almost like we're being farmed, yeah...

Just another broad who's happy her head-giving days are almost over...

Uncalled for. None of us can help who our parents are (were)
Lighten up. Its a joke about married women no longer having to give head.
Not a personal comment on her or her parents.
Btw, yes I did junk you back.
I un-junked you because I feel sorry for you. My condolences. Are you married or have you ever been?
Yes, married.
Got more head in college than I've had in the 20 years since. :(
Upgrade. That's what I did. It is better to go out find someone that has your equivalent desires then to spend the rest of your life wondering if that person even exists.
She refuses because she doesn't think other women are lining up to do it if she fails to do it.
Read up on Vox Day and Game theory if you want to be treated like a rock star who's only in town for one night.
or just man up and be HONEST that all you want is a blow job, and stop lying to women that it's a "relationship", hmm?
get your 10 bucks out and PAY for it dudes.
Wow, you would think it was a royal family wedding from the description. I'm sure Chelsea will still give him the occasional blow job on his birthday or whatever.
Daddy's girl!
Nothing less than a Noah's flood part 2 will wake the sheeple up from their American idol induced slumber... Demoralization has taken root in the minds of our youth and cannot be reversed barring a painful ass kicking.
Thebamster won by less than 50% of the vote so at least 50% of Americans didn't have any faith in this neohyte in the first place. Of the other 50% likely less than half of them voted for him because he would do something about horrendous Bush years' atrocities. The others?
Blacks who want "obama money".
maybe not 50% if you adjust for dead people and felons
NOT,
That was just in Illinois.........
anony,
94% voted for Obama, it was a Pride thing.
Can't blame them for that,I was happy that we had progressed as a nation to this point, finally.
But at least someone with SOME experience, bad part, most still are in his camp.....seriously sad.
They do not know how bad their going to get it in the end.
Dude! If you were too stupid to realize that Obama's ideas were really, really bad, and now think McLame would have been worse, we can stop the convo here. McCain is a total douche, but Obama is an evil narcissist, who is damaging our country immensely.
Exactly, another "none of the above" election offered up by our single party fascist state.
I agree McLame was not much of a candidate, but at least could have vetoed some of the worst abuses of a run-away Congress.
It is a poor comment on our country that we have had such lame choices to lead us.
How do you know McCain would've used those vetoes? Idiosyncratic details (i.e., exactly HOW the same abusive legisltation got passed) might have changed if Senator McCain had won, but I strongly suspect the general thrust of a McCain administration would've still been directly aimed at the collective backside of the electorate.
The old "maverick" McCain, who said what he believed even when it contradicted Republican dogma, might have been able to at least start the country back in the right direction. Of course he would have been universally vilified because going off economic heroin "cold turkey" is a long and hard road that would require every American to share some of the pain.
As thing turned out it didn't really matter. Political reality finally broke this guy. He saw the the error of his ways and became just another "go along to get along" pol. If elected, he would not have pushed Obama's liberal projects, but aside from that the big picture would have been the same, complete with trillion dollar financial bailouts and wars without end.
You give him too much credit. He is not real bright. Recall that little show called the "Savings and Loan Crisis"
I'd love to have a few beers with Johnny Mac . I'd even pay if he couldn't get us free Buds from his uber rich wife's stash. I realize he wouldn't be able to stoke a 40 watt bulb under most circumstances. Maybe getting the snot kicked out of you in the Hanoi Hilton for years will eventually cloud thinking and judgement.
I knew he was toast when he trotted out arm and arm into the Rose Garden with W after winning the GOP nomination. Then gets another photo op within days with his special economic advisor, PHIL GRAMM, the angel of American economic destruction. The press jumped him right away for both.
Whether it's Obama or McCain or a host of other pols, I have been stunned that they are not getting proper advice or they are too smitten with their own flawed judgement to take it. Or they are totally corrupted and couldn't give a shit about advice except when it comes directly from their handlers.
Excellent post. Sums up my feelings 100% (minus the part of voting for Obama). My choice was between Bob Barr (I've voted for the Libertarian candidate in every presidential election since turning 18) and writing in Ron Paul. I hate Bob Barr.
I did hold out the same hopes on Obama... that ship sailed quickly.
Same. Ron Paul was the only candidate worth my vote.
Yet, I had hope for the hopeful. That lasted about a day.
What is happening in the Gulf coast is at a minimum, negligence inspired by greed. It's a crime against humanity for what is happening to the ecosystem and to people's lives. So instead of some civil slap on the wrist, why not criminal charges the moment someone dies from their actions? Wouldn't the death penalty be appropriate for taking someone's life? Good, then the rig workers' deaths were not in vain. As far as Obama goes, while he didn't cause the spill, his finger prints are all over it and his failure to act constitute complicity. How funny that he was looking for someone's ass to kick when all he had to do was look in the mirror. A recall would be too good for him, impeachment might be too kind. It's become BS that we can no longer believe in and sadly the only way to change is a revolution or collapse.

Televise it. I'd do pay per view.
Edmon,
Thanks, due to the extremely serious nature of this post......much needed LEVITY.
LMAO..........
Close to "Planes,Trains, and Automobiles".............( well no, not quite)(:>)
“He has to find some way between now and November of demonstrating that he is a leader who can command confidence and, short of a 9/11 event or an Oklahoma City bombing, I can’t think of how he could do that.”
Expect an "Oklahoma" or "9/11" some time within the next 4 months then.
Let's say you believe that this is all orchestrated... I don't think you need another 9/11 to "save the presidency"... let the presidency fail and let the pendulum swing. Our next fascist leader is the one who scares me.

Personally, for the last year I have felt like the whole world has been soaked in gasoline and everyone is just waiting for that first spark. We are living in a era that great wars are made of. You can feel it in the air and your gut.
yup. Archduke Ferdinand is sitting in the cross hairs somewhere. If we still have books in 100 years, and, of course, depending on who wins the next war, I think history might mark Iraq/Afghanistan as the first shot fired with a steady tense build up to the inevitable. Of course 9/11 and the Reichstag bombings do parallel.
"Of course 9/11 and the Reichstag bombings do parallel."

Double Post
How can Obama be a failure when his is intent was to Destroy America??
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
He fucked up Copenhaguen...The Chinese played him good and proper...then he flies in last day to try to salvage the Carbon Credit theft and had his arse kicked...That's the point where the NWO buckled to one knee, leaving their USD replacement currency, the SDR, heavily unfunded ... Enter BP.
So true, Cue BP to sell 'Clean Energy' (translation Carbon Taxes paid to IMF private central banker shareholders of BP) courtesy of the GoM Chernobyl.
Be careful MobilExxon, the vulnerable BP prey offered may well be a poison apple from the NWO which could possibly see Barry O curtail oil and gas exploration to save the environment and take us Beyond Petroleum (My God! It is so in your face!!) to a world where the latest version of communism is green and you will have no market whatsoever.
Green is the New Red
Where Communism was the former mechanism for globalist bankers to loot the wealth of true sinners, being he middle class who used technology, empirical science and the free market to create economic sovereignty, we now have a new version from the same perps: eco-guilt.
Class warfare is not an effective manipulation within the economically successful so this is where the omnipresent state will step in to adjudicate and re-distribute these unacceptable successes under the guise of environmental stewardship.
Divide and conquer. This malicious steatlh goes back centuries through the religious and aristocratic power structures of Europe. They put the feud in Feudalism.
ExxonMobil beware. The crown jewels in Alaska are going to Apache (RED PILL QUERY asks: a BP proxy? or a Chinese side deal?)
The delicious fruit proffered may be bitter indeed.

Michael Krieger a pure sucker....at least he admitted it. You have given up more civil liberaties in 18 mths than all administrations thru that dope Roosevelt as gove has taken control of every aspect of your life. All because you dont get that govt is run by people who cant survive any other way but to exploit your ideology for personal gain. That is why the founders put in the constitution. Conservatives in general get it others dont. So the solution is getting rid of govt or trimming it back dramatically. By its nature it must be held in check.
300+ million of us and look at our choices for President?!? The last 3 elections brought us Bush, Bush, McCain, Gore, Kerry, Obama. Nice! At least Bush was governor of TX before this - what about the other 4 senators? All of them, worthless.
I'm in Cook County, IL and so I know plenty about Obama and his friends. The only item left from my prediction regarding Obama is "nervous breakdown while in office." Because of his combination of narcissism and Christ-like adulation from many. Factor in that he just can't bring himself to quit smoking (and that he's actually never done a single thing in his life - ever) and I summed him up as "worthless and weak" - breakdown is next.
When did I know that his honeymoon was over? Listening to NPR last July while leaving the Grand Canyon with my family - and they were discussing the Gates/Harvard arrest and his comments regarding not knowing the facts, but "the police acted stupidly." It's been all downhill for him after that. The bloom began to fade.
But, hey, it could be MUCH worse - Biden!!!
re: "But, hey, it could be MUCH worse - Biden!!!" -- Nancy Pelosi!!!!!!
she is next in line after Biden
re: "But, hey, it could be MUCH worse - Biden!!!" -- Nancy Pelosi!!!!!!
she is next in line after Biden
I know that she is next, but I didn't want to scare everybody! Isn't Biden enough to give you the "Scooby Doo Fears"?
You lost me at "when I voted for Obama..."
+1000
DITTO!
How you couldn't see this fraud from a mile away is beyond me.
Two interesting points:
- Why did you still vote for him, if you only had a faint hope he would do the right things?
- Always keep in mind, pretty much no "democrat" opposed W. taking away these liberties, neither with words nor votes (in house and senate).

Wish I could communicate with someone who was living in Western Europe in spring 1940, during the so called "Phoney War". This was just before the German push to Paris and the total defeat of the French and English Armies. It was a very eerie time. Waiting for the other shoe to drop.... We know we are about to be clobbered and are living the last days of our "old times...." Feel it? It matter not who is in power, the die has been cast.
I am hopeful people are starting to see the truth through the endless flood of government and ruling elite propaganda and lies.
Yes, indeed, revolutions allow great nation to overcome major economic and political catastrophes, recover, and prosper. The American and French revolutions are good examples.
PS
The Russia revolution of Nov. 1917 was not a revolution. It was a coup d'etat organized by foreign powers similar to what took place in Iran, Chili, etc.,
You are an Idiot due to several easily observable points you made in your comment, but most because it is not spelled Chili you uneducated baboon, but Chile.
Honest mistake, Cheeky. He probably works at Chili's.
I know, but it just shows the level of ignorance and lack of any respect. What if I suddenly decided I dont like the fact the USA is called The USA and I start to call it Assfuckistan.
I say go for it.
I'm on board. I'm an ass man myself...
Although Titfuckistan has a nice ring to it.
I hear the ladies love pearls.
But what do I know, I'm just a mangy old coon.
Cheeky Bastard
"What if I suddenly decided I dont like the fact the USA is called The USA and I start to call it Assfuckistan."
Please start a petition or we could all call our elected officials and support the name change.
I for one would enjoy claiming myself as a Citizen of Assfuckistan. The only thing better would be if parts were Greater Assfuckistan, and Painful Assfuckistan.
You already are a citizen of Assfuckistan. Figured you knew?
I'd insist on seeing the flag.
Mmm...chili.
Hot sauce spilled on his keyboard?
Totally agree,
Everyone that understands the volatility the future holds has a responsibility to their family, friends and communities to help hold it all together and use the destructive nature of the collapse to educate people as to how the power elite diberately set America up to crash for their benefit. That's when they will be looking for alternative understanding to their predicament.
Mike is channeling Glenn Beck.
here I was thinking he was channelling me......and I don't particularly like Glenn Beck
I wrote a long response to this thread and it got deleted before I could even post so here's the condensed version.
Obama is a COMPLETE tool of the people that actually run things. It was the only way a black guy with little experience, a murky background and an ARAB/MUSLIM name could ever get put in, I mean elected to, the Whitehouse (against a war hero no less). He's doing what he's told to do and taking the fall just like he's supposed to be doing.
I honestly don't know what you all are so upset about. This thing is so obvious that even Stevie Wonder can see what's going on. It never ceases to amaze me at how dumb we've become as a people. You guys are doing exactly what you're supposed to be doing: blaming the figurehead that was placed there specifically for you to blame.
I think that what this experience has taught us is that the President of the United States answers to others behind the scene.
O stop, please. You got scammed, just admit it. Bam is President:
- not because of some conspiracy
- not because of some marketing campaign
- not because he gives flowery speeches
- not because he had the right policies for America
- not because ... you pick em ...
Bam was elected because YOU did not do your homework and see him for what he is, a charlatan, a narcissist, inexperienced, incompetent and philosophically opposed to America as it is. All this was there for anyone who wanted to look beyond the Brian Williams evening news.
Those who voted for Bam got exactly what he was, is and will be. Maybe, just maybe, you could spend a bit more effort on examining the truth.
sschu
We have the choice between a douche and a turd sandwich, although I think those terms are far too forgiving. I agree that a lot of this was apparent way before the election (which lasted a full year, BTW). I knew this guy was full of crap when he started to say all kinds of things that I agree with. Too good to be true. However, had everyone in the country done their homework on Obama, we would have McCain in office, and things would be just as bad. I voted for Mr. Bender Bending Rodriguez, because if we're going to have a misanthropic thieving a-hole robot for a president, I would rather him be fictional.
Anyway, I don't think you can just blame the people who voted for him without first admitting that the game is rigged. Yes they voted him into office, but that was for lack of a better choice (i didn't see ron paul on the ballot). When we are forced to pick and ingest our poison, we can conclude with certainty that we have been poisoned.
Anyway, I don't think you can just blame the people who voted for him without first admitting that the game is rigged.
Classic liberal mantra. I am not responsible for my actions, it is someone else's fault and therefore they need to pay for my errors, at the point of a gun.
sschu
you are played like a fiddle by the machine
and you are mean spirited as well
you are played like a fiddle by the machine and you are mean spirited as well
LOL!
Quite the contrary, unlike the people who voted for Bam I knew EXACTLY what he was about. All this is sooo predictable, it did not take a genius to see what he was going to do. You would prefer to blame the "machine" for your bad choice. So be it.
I likewise knew what McCain was about and frankly was not all that impressed.
The "machine" does not own me, they do not play me and they will win only if we let them. By blinding voting for a South Chicago huckster community organizer you let the "machine" play you.
sschu
sschu,
I'm with you. I voted for the first time in a national election in 1992, then again locally in 1994 on the "balance the budget" Republicrat propoganda. Never again since, never again. The usual response: "Well, if you didn't vote you don't have anything to complain about." Bullshit, unadulterated bullshit on a national and global scale....piles and piles of bullshit.
I will never voluntarily give up my time, energy and effort to help TPTB conceal the fact that our system of government is anything more than what it is: a complete farce, a shell game designed to make each individual feel like they have some control by casting their vote...when in reality, the real control over their own lives and destiny is being robbed from them in plain sight.
I disagree with one major point though: The "machine" does own me. I recognize and accept it fully and at face value. But they own me involuntarily, whereas the dim actively volunteer every time they step in a booth. They're the ones that have no right to complain, they're the ones that validated this corruption with their votes.
We have to stop paying taxes until they end the Fed, the rest is but spitballs in the wind.
This really doesn't have anything to do with liberal/conservative or democrat/republican. The overarching idea is that there isn't any good option when it comes to voting for a president. I think there is a good case to be made for the notion that JFK was the last 'real' president, at least the last one with an actual spine. The structure is set and you'll never change it through the ballot box.
I am absolutely responsible for my actions. Yes we did elect this guy. You still have to admit that we were essentially presented with 2 choices. WTF is the point of even voting when both of these guys are corrupted, bottom of the bucket scum who we couldn't trust to run even the snack stand at the elementary school baseball game, much less these united states.
I'm not sure what you mean by ''they need to pay for my errors, at the point of a gun".
''they need to pay for my errors, at the point of a gun".
Did you ever try NOT to pay your taxes because you did not agree with where and how there are spent?
Yes, this is not a Democrat/Republican issue, this is an issue of right vs wrong and what kind of country in which you want to live. The Founders were right on, the issue is tyranny vs anarchy, or insuring that there is enough government to maintain an orderly and prosperous society while preventing an overbearing government. To think that we have anything but tyranny right now is to ignore the obvious.
The fact that "we had no good options" is not a reason to make apologizes for voting for the Bamster. It is clear what he is now, and it was equally obvious what you were voting for when you decided to pull the lever.
As has been said, we get the government we deserve.
sschu
I guess we're in agreement then. Voting is a waste of time and only legitimizes an illegitimate system.
I was simply pointing out that the process of electing leaders is fucked. Make what you will of it.
I am also saying that maybe you shouldn't condemn everyone so harshly for their ignorance. Not everybody understands the futility of our contemporary election process. It's our job to educate them.
McCain abandoned every principle he ever had, and sealed his fate by pretending to respect Palin as an equal. Who could take him seriously after that? Most of his ballots could have been labeled "Anyone but Obama." And that wasn't enough.
At the same time Obama ran a stirring campaign promising to do what is right and honorable, without regard to political pressure and realities. How credible is this philosophy from someone who learned his craft by climbing the Chicago political ladder? No matter, to many a faint hope was better than none. We will never know if he really believed his own rhetoric, since in any case that supposed idealism didn't survive his first month in office.
I am convinced there were thousands of potentially better canditates. We will never know their names, because they are too smart to dive into this cesspool, and even if they did today's voters are conditioned to reject anyone who speaks truths they don't want to face.
Bang on.....
He is a good speaker it ends there. He isn't running the show, he is just the figure head. I don't think he is as intelligent as everyone claims...he is merely doing what he is told, and when done will be sitting on enough $$ that he and his kids won't have to lift a finger. GWB was an obvious idiot controlled by others...this time around it is hidden better. BHO is there so the real operators don't take the blame. Were the people suckered? Sure they were, but it was the choice between the lesser of 2 evils....McCain would be no better. The 2 party mentality has the masses paralyzed and fighting each other, thus the 2 parties able to maintain control. Frankly, I think the masses are too shallow minded and worried about what is on cable to give a shit. Until a dramatic event occurs the situation will stay the same.
+1+1+1
I'll do you one better....
He reads well.
He couldn't speak if you asked him a simple question.
"He's a jackass." QUOTE.
Eloquent thought, Mister President.
America is essentially a failed state at this point.
I agree.
I also agree. It is impossible to refute the rule of the putrid 3 ics.........demographics, mathematics and economics. Keep Obama in place until Ben's 2016 revival festival or Krugman's after party in '17. Commence building the Barryvilles now.
Greenspan to Bernanke to Krugman? What about diversity?
everything according to plan.
the question is, what will come "next" to underline that point. . .
"Here you go." Said the smiling Dinosaur King to the serf, as he handed over the keys to the car. The King waddled away, with his cowboy hat blocking the sun from his eyes, and his suit glistening gray in the light. A gold chain hung from his neck, and a Platinum and white gold watch lay across his wrist. His suspenders could barely hold his pants up around his fat belly.
As the serf stepped towards the car, the Dinosaur King added, "Oh, and the tank is empty, good luck with that." The serf turned around and replied, "Then fill it up!" The serf was feeling courageous; the key in his hand made him feel powerful. But the Dinosaur King merely shrugged and pointed to a sign above the gas station. The word Open was not lit up with fluorescence. The serf looked back at the Dinosaur King, who was staring him down; the King then swiftly hopped up onto the foot-board of his Hummer and swung inside. "Looks like you are out of luck." He started the truck, and looked back. "Maybe next time", he said with a wink, and drove off.
Impeach Obama and lets just get Larouche in there. I mean, the next Dem/Repub is going to be just a corrupt due how these mofo's are being elected. Someone needs to get in there and write off all these CDS.
Wow you are also an Idiot [it seems as if there is inflation of you guys here on ZH]. I am just amazed how you managed to incorporate CDS into a post which has absolutely nothing to do with CDS. Do you even know anything about those or is that your "word-of-the-day" you keep throwing around until you actually learn [very much doubt that] what it means or represent or how it actually, you know ... works ?
You are in prime form today!
I Love cheeky too. But I still can't pin him down on Ayn Rand? Does he love her or hate her? It is such a fine line!
Hate. Pure Hate.
So educate him. Write a primer on the subject and post it. CDS' in six easy steps.
J6P is waking up. Don't serve him a cup of piss. Rather give him a cup of tea sweetened with knowledge. It is not as if J6P has the intellectual capacity of a mold spore, he is merely uneducated. So help him out.
Society as a whole benefits when one man steps forward to assist another.
It appears that the rules governing Presidential succession are lost on you. When the Pres is removed the gov't does not make a phone call to "react1200" to see who he'd want to place in the office. All the rest of your rant is without merit -- oh, what the hell, it's downright goofy.
It's both exciting and terrifying. Exciting in the sense they know they're losing their grip on the imagination and expectation of what the permanent regime is capable of. Terrifying in that they're not going to let it just slip away.
When the next event happens and everyone is huddled around a boobtube taking in the well-orchestrated scene, let the words in your head become vocal and say "fuck this shit. It never needed to be this way." those words spoken at the right time will prevent people around from flipping out.
obama is bush, continues to allow the centralization of money and the corruption of banks to go unchecked.
if people could just grasp this concept and E X P A N D it, put away the micro-lens and get out the wide-angle, they might begin to "see". . .
"obama is bush" is clinton is HerbertWalker Bush is Reagan is Carter. . .
and they all serve the FED.
END THE FED.
