Guest Post: Does The US Government Want To Prevent You From Leaving?
From Simon Black of Sovereign Man
Does The US Government Want To Prevent You From Leaving?
Can you imagine being trapped inside your home country, unable to
leave? It may be closer to a reality than you realize. I’ll tell you a
quick story to explain.
This weekend I rented a car in Bulgaria with the aim of driving
through Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, and eventually into Greece. Now, I’m
no virgin to land border crossings in the developing world and
understand the corruption and incompetence that typifies customs
checkpoints. But this weekend’s experience was much more.
With documents in hand, I drove to my first border crossing in
Strezimirovci, Bulgaria. After clearing customs on the Bulgarian side,
the Serbian officers decided that they would not allow me to enter with
the normal papers, and instead required that I obtain another customs
form to proceed.
Unfortunately, they had no such customs form at their station, so
they turned me around and sent me to another border check point in
Kalotina, over an hour away.
The road from Strezimirovci to Kalotina skirts the Serbian border for
a large part of the drive– quite literally, on one side of the road is
Serbia, and on the other is Bulgaria. It’s all part of the same
landscape with no discernable difference… these are just invisible lines
guarded by gun-toting monkeys.
When I arrived to Kalotina, I found the ‘office’ where I was supposed
to obtain the new document– just a simple, roadside concession stand.
The ‘agent’ was the shop’s proprietor, a chain-smoking Serbian woman
with rather mannish features.
Once I paid the appropriate fee, she spent the next 10 minutes
hacking at her keyboard to produce an official looking Cyrillic document
with lots of stamps and seals.
While I was waiting for her to finish, four different customers came
into the shop to stock up on snacks and drinks. All they wanted was a
cold one for the road, but they eventually got tired of waiting and
left.
These four customers represented potential transactions that could
have contributed something to the economy. Instead, though, they were
preempted by an unnecessary bureaucracy that adds absolutely no value
whatsoever.
As expected, the Serbian customs agent barely glanced at the form
when I crossed the border this time. Finally on Serbian soil, I pointed
my car towards Pristina.
Now, Serbia still pretends like Kosovo is part of its sovereign
territory, and Serbian police are under strict instructions to make the
immigration checkpoint on the Kosovo border as painful as possible.
The vehicle line at the checkpoint was backed up so much that it took
several hours to pass. All along the way, there was not a single
bathroom, vending machine, fuel station, or even street light. It’s
obvious that they want to incovenience travelers to the point that
people will think twice before visiting Kosovo again.
When it was finally my turn, I drove up to the policeman and handed
him all of my papers. He slowly went through every single detail,
looking for any technicality he could find to prevent me from crossing.
The rest the station was staffed with 10 other agents. All
brandished automatic weapons slung over their backs, yet each stood
around doing absolutely nothing. One person was “working,” and the other
ten were smoking, eating, drinking, and shooting the breeze.
Frankly, I pity all of these border agents whose only function is to
deny, obstruct, or otherwise frustrate the forward progress of other
human beings. These people will go their entire careers contributing
nothing of value to the world, and destroying what others are trying to
create. It’s truly a pitiful existence.
This weekend’s affair was a clear example of what happens when a
government imposes mind-numbing bureacracy to prevent freedom of
movement. And if you think it can’t happen where you live, think again.
In the US, the government now requires all citizens to have a
passport in order to pass the border, even when driving into Mexico or
Canada. Obtaining a passport, however, is neither free nor guaranteed.
You must apply, pay an ever-increasing fee, and wait for weeks to be
approved and receive it.
Recently, the State Department quietly proposed a new ‘biographical questionnaire’ in lieu of the traditional passport application. The new form requires you to provide things like:
- names, birth places, and birth dates of your extended family members
- your mother’s place of employment at the time of your birth
- whether or not your mother received pre-natal or post natal care
- the address of your mother’s physician and dates of appointments
- the address of every place you have ever lived in your entire life
- the name and address of every school you have ever attended
Most people would find it impossible to provide such information, yet
the form requires that the responses ‘are true and correct’ under
penalty of imprisonment.
Naturally, the privacy statement on the application also acknowledges
that the responses can be shared with other departments in the
government, including Homeland Security.
If this proposal passes, then US citizens will have a nearly
insurmountable hurdle to obtain a passport and be able to leave the
country at will. Even if it doesn’t pass, it’s a clear demonstration of
what the people who run the country are thinking.
Have you reached your breaking point yet, comrades? Let me know what you think.

Actually I believe it is still perfectly legal to carry as much gold as you want, out of the country. Just declare it. Also make sure that were you are going, they will allow it in. A professional freight forwarder can assist.
My business is going along fine and I have absolutely no intention of cheating any taxes. All revenue is deposited in my corporation account and I have no opportunity to hide anything if I wanted. I play by all the rules.
I consider myself smart, and anyone who is smart should be looking to get a large part of their money out of America if only for the short term. Things are not looking good here, as the government gets desperate, and the average American citizen just follows along with anything that Hannity or whatever favorite media head says.
Yes, it is legal. But that doesn't mean the predators don't steal your bullion. They do. Then they claim YOU have the burden to PROVE beyond a shadow of a doubt that the money you purchased the gold with was 100% earned by you and not for any kind of "illegitimate" business or activity.
The fact is, nobody can prove that every penny they ever received and/or spent was "legitimate". Furthermore, since money is fungible, nobody can prove the money they gave to APMEX or their friendly neighborhood coin shop was the money they earned in their obviously legitimate business. The fact is, the predators steal your money and MAYBE you can get it back... sometimes... IF you are willing to risk spending more than your bullion is worth for lawyers and such.
So it doesn't matter what IS the law. What matters is what they do. What the TSA does is absolutely, positively, 100% overtly unlawful, since nobody has repealed the 4th amendment and no law can overturn the consitution or amendments. Only new amendments can do that. So the argument "it is lawful" means ZERO today in the USSA. Absolute ZERO.
Well I do appreciate your sentiment and I think you may be right on all counts. Having said that though, while I am very disappointed in the fact that we have this huge TSA bureaucracy (among other things) I have always seemed to find that the employees are decent people. Maybe just dumb luck and the fact that I only travel on occasional basis.
There was an internet contributor about a year ago, on a different website, who mentioned selling everything in the USA, buying gold and silver, filling up backpacks of it and emigrating to another country. He declared all of his metals as he took two separate flights to get out of the country. At one airport he was flagged and put into a room for questioning until a supervisor cleared him to leave with his goods. He got it all out. Perhaps in the future it will be much more difficult.
You are a bigger problem than the predators-that-be and the TSA! Anyone who claims a person is "decent" when they INTENTIONALLY and ENDLESSLY and egregiously violate the most fundamental rights of millions of individuals is deluded beyond repair.
I've seen the Alex Jones videos and I know TSA is a problem but I am just saying that myself personally I have not had a problem ever. You suggested that it would be impossible to leave the country with gold but I just don't think it would be such a risk to have your gold taken by the TSA, as long is it is declared. Lots of people take huge sums of money through airports for things like coin shows, for example.
No, I do not suggest it is IMPOSSIBLE to leave the country with gold [or other valuables]. What I say is, sometimes they steal it and make you jump through hoops to get it back... IF... you can afford to jump through hoops as long as it takes, and IF you are lucky.
As for taking coins to coin shows and such, I suggest you recall the conversation was getting your wealth outside the USSA, not traveling from Austin to a coin show in Houston. However, even that is becoming riskier by the day.
Where is it written that you must declare non-monetary gold to export it?
Or that you can value it by it's face value? Trouble is you risk seizure for money laundering, tax evasion or whatever. An easier way is to buy allocated gold at the Perth Mint, for example, then fly to Perth and withdrawl it.
"Will fly for bullion"
I have taken many ounces of bullion over the Canadian border by private jet while working as a pilot. Never once questioned. Fine wine too :)
Yup. That's how it works. Don't piss off the rich, for they are your (politician) cash cow. Amazing that nobody seems to notice the private terminal and lack of TSA over there.
Hell, as a private pilot I can rent an airplane from just about any private terminal and fly anywhere I want with anything I want in my pockets... or in my back seat.
Maybe we should establish a business for people who refuse to be molested by the TSA. What do you think? The only way to travel today without TSA seems to be cruise lines and private terminals.
I suppose we can start small (figure out the most popular and cost effective route for one plane) and bootstrap from there. Whaddaya say? I think the ocean-going vessel alternative will be good too.
Almost nobody understands that "passports" are a private commercial concept and fictitious entity, and that technically speaking people can leave their country through any other path they wish. The only reason you must have a passport at a port is... because the private owners of the port say so.
I'd say that if you act on that idea right now, you could make a huge amount of money in the next two years or so. Then get out of the business and don't be tempted to go back to it, or you will end up in the gulag.
It seems they will bring back the draft for those between 18 and 50 pretty soon.
They won't have to.
Young folks are joining in droves, as there is no work/jobs to be had.
So, they are signing on for a check, and bennies.
And a life of never ending tours.(until they their life is lost).
Have good friend whose Son has been in for 20yrs, he cannot get out, he has done 4-5 rotations from Iraq, and now to Trashcanistan.
He is a prisoner of the military system.
How they spread the TSA thug tactics is to say that airports that do nto follow such invasive procedures will not be allowed to route flights to the US.
Bingo!
India has just installed, with nary a whimper, the Scanners (backscatter stuff) from that israeli shill.
USSA, spreading the love.

A passport is required to "pass through a port". That was perverted to mean "ship port" or "air port" once air travel became common, but the point remains the same.
Nobody needs a passport to swim or paddle or put-put out 12 miles from their friendly neighborhood beach, then get on a "rescue" vessel of some kind. Or leave from some random marina, dock, peer.
If the predators close the doors on your cage, don't worry, I'm sure I won't be the only liberty aid ready to rescue you from the dire straights 12 miles offshore.
Tell that story to the people that live in Gaza.
Okay. Consider it done.
Says it all...
As with the TSA, it's about intimidation, subjugation and destroying a people's will.
You must destroy their spirit before revealing the true extent of their future servitude.
The only thing standing between the American people and total enslavement at this point in time are America's gun owners.
Once this final buffer is removed, game over.
The problem is, the gun owners are not exterminating predators yet. If the gun owners just sit by and let anything and everything happen, then the guns are pointless. The predators-that-be and predator-class went light-years over any line they can possibly justify decades ago. Yet the gun owners are still sheep... hopefully not for much longer, but I am increasingly skeptical.
The gun owners are afraid their guns and ammo will be taken away from them if they use them to intimidate TPTB. They're right. They will be confiscated.
Oh, you're absolutely correct. Any gun owner who announces they are fighting the predators is a complete and utter idiot. The predators will take every advantage of you, your situation, your location, everything they know about you to minimize their risk when they come to destroy you.
The notion that non-predators must identify themselves and pre-announce their actions is the most absurd idea in the history of the universe. In every situation of non-predator versus predator, whether that be in the wilds of africa or elsewhere, non-predators take out predators in the most safe, distant, anonymous manner possible. Seems like the vietnamese understood that, but gringos do not? How dumbed down have people become, anyway?
"The gun owners" are as varied as the entire population. Some are afraid of confiscation, but many are itching for the shooting to start. When it does start, the PTB will be slaughtered, along with many bystanders.
honne,
ARE you one?, or expecting someone else to carry your water?.
To die for your freedom?,or chance at it.
Am I one what? Perhaps I might have been (assuming I even know what you're talking about), but I escaped the USSA when I saw nobody was willing to take any actions or take any risk. If there had been a serious resistance, I would have helped. There wasn't and isn't, as far as I can tell, though I hope I'm just unaware of it. Sheep.
I live in san diego and that billion dollar fence they are build, is asked myself if they are trying to keep mexicans out or me in:(
I live in San Diego as well and feel the same.
That fence is simply to keep in their tax paying
citizens. I'm crossing over to TJ in a few weeks
to eat lobster down in Puerto Nuevo. Not looking
forward to the three hour border wait to get back
into USA.
You have noticed, I presume, that huge body of water off the west coast of California? No?
Why would you want to go into Mexico?.
I can think of almost NO scenario where that would be a wise move.
Talk about ZERO rights, and corruption, they make our den of thieves look like cherubs.
Several months ago, I called IRS to clarify the rules and regulations on the early IRA withdraw. The IRS guy right off the bat asked me if I want to give up my US citizenship. It is pretty odd to ask question like that. I wonder if there are many people giving up their citizenships and closing their IRA or retirement accounts.
Hahahahhha, there are tens of thousands of people renouncing so they do not have to pay any taxes.. muahahahaha
bill,
Renouncing will NOT release you from paying of taxes due on 401k's, or IRA's.
TD....great story...rings oh so true...happen to see/visit Kremikovtzi (Bulgaria Steel or Krembu <corp> <go>) when you were there?
Ahhhh Krembu...
not even sure those bonds still trade...next question on this thread will be..."have you seen a mkt" 3...2...1...
Those who were short the bonds not really believing the Mittal BS probably dont want to see a market.
The Magna Carta, or 'Great Charter' of 1215, number 42:
« It shall be lawful for anyone, to leave our realm, and to return, safely and securely, by land or by water ... »
Now that's old school.
Stuck in the Roach Motel. You can check in, but....
This is worrisome and I don't like it but it is not law yet and would not be required of all, but only about 1-2% of those applyign for US Passports.....of course as time goes on it mostl likely would be required of all.
Before you junk me I do disagree with it whole heartedly, but I believe one should be totally informed.
The State Department was accepting comments on this proposal between 2/2010 and 3/2011 so you are a little late to the dance Simon. Did you orchestrate a campaign amoungst your readers to comment against this?
http://www.papersplease.org/wp/2011/03/18/state-dept-proposes-biographical-questionnaire-for-passport-applicants/
I go to Cuba and other places by boat from Florida or wherever I am without a passport all the time. Passports are for SHEEP
Good for you!
You and your boating friends will soon have a great business running a legitimate and necessary business that leaves from NON-ports.
Leave the sheep behind. No choice.
Don't do it with a boat you have any substantial equity in. CBP confiscates boats and aircraft -- lots of them. Many people in this trade use stolen boats.
Well, if you're telling me that people who OWN a boat cannot sail the oceans blue any time they want, then you have just given the best reason to get onto your boat right now and get the hell out of dodge before it gets even more dangerous.
And that's a fact.
Also please remember. Passports are not to LEAVE a country, they are to arrive. If anyone attempts to reverse that, you know you live in neo-nazi land.
You don't know that by now?! Good grief.
Know what?
Passports may be symptomatic of the problem, but they are not the problem. I wouldn't spend to much time mulling this particular nugget, when the entire system is dysfuntional. Its like complaining about the view from your state room as the Titanic is sinking. Best to focus on resolving the most pressing problems.
In a pinch you can walk over our porous borders, or take a sailboat. Passports maybe purchased one way or another in many places, if one has the means.
Passports are frosting on a rotten cake, lets worry about the rotten cake.
TheMerry,
Not if you want to "Have papers Please", for any planned EXTENDED stay wherever you flee to.
In a pinch you can walk over our porous borders,( to where you will be arrested, jailed, Mexico, and if North, extradited anytime) or take a sailboat. Passports maybe purchased one way or another in many places, if one has the means.( Not many folks have $400K for a passport.
Last I heard there where only TWO countries left where such an item could be puruchased, and this is the least expensive # I read.
If you know of somehwere else, pls share.
We have a ZERO in the column here for that kind of info.
I think it's time for others to share JUST in case.
For any thinking of Expat to Canada, do not think you are escaping.
Murdered in Mexico(if the SHTF), and you stay close to the Border.Or jail w/out release, unless you have rich relatives.
LOL...you forgot the lingua franca of ALL border crossings. My frined and I were trapped in Bulgaria in the 1980s.....the border gurads were all Russians in Bulgarian uniforms....they almost threw the passports back in our faces ...our Turkish Taxi driver suggested a $100 bill in each passport and we did that handed them back to the gurds and suddenly..."Oh. our American friends...please go through"....LOL...forget the offical forms (although you need those also) don't forget the $100 bill...times have not changed...have they....human nature, just like market forces, always win.
Good thing reading ability isn’t a requirement for a passport, Mr. Sovereign Man. The form about which you want everyone to get incensed first asks two questions, and those only of people who claim they were born in the US:
1) Was your birth recorded within one year of the date your birth occurred?
2) Were you born in a medical facility?
(Some people follow and read links.)
If you answered “No” to either question, you must answer the questions (you listed). Anyone who answers yes to both need not supply that information, which I would bet applies to 99% of Americans. Most likely these questions are aimed at illegals who try to scam the system for a US Passport (or some might argue become President of the United States). It is highly unlikely that it is aimed at “keeping people from leaving the country”.
Don’t you think it would have been more honest if you had mentioned what the form actually says, or is creating rage a goal in and of itself? There are plenty of real things to be outraged about without using sophistry to dilute real concern about genuine issues.
I have dual citizenship, who ever in the US wants to imprison me can kiss my assss! As to the Swiss bank accounts, there are several websites from attorney doing just that, opening bank accounts in Switzerland for just about everybody, yes there are some restrictions for US folks but you CAN open a Swiss bank account even as a US Citizen! If you have enough dough get yourself a second citizenship and you are home free!
Many websites offering foreign bank accounts for Americans are scams. If you can't open an account directly with the bank, a third-party middleman claiming to be able to help you will likely take his fee (payable in advance) and disappear with it.
Exactly right. These scams started proliferating 15 years ago, now they are going into overdrive, as any American who is in possession of funds and a functioning brain realizes the prison gates are closing. It is not impossible that you can do this, but the odds are high and rising very rapidly that you will be ripped off.
I remember reading that under the last administration they changed the tax law to tax citizens leaving for good. Under that law, everything you take with you is taxed as if it were earned in that year. The only other country purportedly to have done this was Hitler's Germany. Can anyone confirm this? Because this would really signal the cell door clanging shut.
You are correct, the only proviso being the first <fill-in-the-blank> dollars is not taxed.
I think I recall <fill-in-the-blank> started at $250,000 or so, but you can be sure that will be adjusted downward regularly, until hyperinflation renders the limit equivalent to a meal at McDonalds.
Aaah America, land of the free!
You mean "land of the fee, home of the knave".
Just don't try leaving the country with any gold.
Soon, gold ownership will be included on your passport, no doubt.
I am way past the breaking point.
Congrats: A rational sentient entity!
They probably won't care if you leave the USSA as long as your money stays where they can get it. Writing is on the wall. The TSA is training for capital controls and confiscation of valuables leaving the country. Who are you, Where are you going, and Where is your money?
Economic Martial Law: The CFPB headed by Elizabeth Warren, run out of the FED, is the real nightmare everyone needs to keep an eye on. The CFPB's job is to be able to track everybody's money under the guise it is for our protection. She gets to make up the rules as she goes along and they can't be defunded since it's run out of the FED. They get to know every transaction everyone makes, including ATMs, and they are going to regulate the thrifts and small banks out of business. All your banking and money will be at the TBTFs.... so they know right where your $$ are ... for your protection.
- names, birth places, and birth dates of your extended family members
FOS much Sovereign Man? Not bad, will make your distinctive disinformation handle easy to ignore, asshole. What's your agenda?- your mother’s place of employment at the time of your birth
- whether or not your mother received pre-natal or post natal care
- the address of your mother’s physician and dates of appointments
- the address of every place you have ever lived in your entire life
- the name and address of every school you have ever attended
Absolutely they're closing the noose slowly on all that cash that can leave the good old USA, per Mr. Rangel's bill (that fuckhead Bushie signed into law).
Otherwise go to this site and find out what you need to know: http://www.renunciationguide.com/
I was left wondering why you did not tell us what we could do to try to stop this proposal and then read chumbawamba comment and realize this proposal has been spiked. Will go get a passport application right away to get in under the old rules. New proposal with equal or stronger requirements for info will come out in about 30 days. Author of this article needs to get facts straight before writing and always suggest what readers can do.
Again, go read the links to the actual form before you get all in a lather.
Yes, as Chumba said above, Black is talking out of his ass, albeit for a different reason than Chumba states. Even the form he notes, which did not pass, would have changed absolutely nothing for the vast majority of US born citizens, as the form asks for that additional information ONLY from people not born in a medical facility and whose birth was not recorded within the first year of life.
Just about every US born citizen under the age of 80 was born in a hospital and had his or her birth recorded within days if not hours.
The form is obviously aimed at those who would scam the system for "proof" of citizenship, and not aimed at keeping people within the US.
Too many goddamn sheeple on this site who take everyone's word for everything so long as it sounds nefarious, which is just the flip side of those against whom these same people constantly rant who accept everything on the MSM sites. In the meantime, nothing changes.
It's a laugh that people who are all over Obama because of his BC issue get all outraged at a form that would have caught him if he in fact was not born in the US. In addition, people here always rant about freeloaders and entitlements, yet when there is a form that might catch people trying to game the system and thus keep them off the public dole (some would surely end up on it), the only thing people can see is their anger.
I have as little faith in those who claim to be "awake" as I have in the current pols and bankstas.
A long time ago I went through a social upheaval of the type so many on this site claim they hope is coming. What actually happens is madness. Once the blood fever is up, an offhand comment can set the masses upon an innocent person as quickly---or more quickly---than a guilty one. People, as a collective unit, are stupid, cruel and barbaric. Indeed, when the fever is up, they are stupid by choice, or out of laziness.
Those who got in a lather about this bullshit article didn't bother to go read the actual form (which didn't pass anyway). It is YOU who are likely to be barbarians if and when the SHTF. You are no alternative to what ails the country, or the world.
Stampedes are dangerous, steer clear.
Thanks Chindit...I noticed that too... many readers on here question everything they hear from the MSM and TPTB...but if they see it on Zerohedge it's just got tobe the truth!!!
Learn to question all and don't check your brain at the door whn you enter ZH.
Good job Chindit. Very well said.
Chumba, didn't see your comments. Just my knee jerk reaction to shitty article. Thx.
You are Chumbawumba.
Swissquote bank still accepts accounts from US Persons. However, they will not allow you to trade FX (futures), trade European mutual funds, or US shares. Euro share tradiing OK.

Simon Black is a CIA disinformation agent, and brags about it. Never forget: Once a CIA agent, always a CIA agent... at least until you're dead.
The LAST thing any honest, ethical, benevolent, productive human being should do is take advice from Simon Black. The LAST thing any honest, ethical, benevolent, productive human being should do is register with many governments. This CIA doofus has convinced hundreds, thousands, who-knows-how-many liberty lovers to do exactly the opposite of what is good for them.
Oh, sure, probably a few of his suggestions might not blow up in your face, if you're lucky, but the basic thrust of his techniques are so massively outdated and/or backwards they are counter-productive. Almost every time you trust any government, a year or few later they buckle under and provide all your information to the predators in the USSA. Even worse, you don't know when they've done so, and therefore have no idea how to act in any given situation once you've "registered and revealed yourself".
All the "registering and revealing yourself and your endless fictitious entities and paper financial assets all over the freaking place" he advocates has been a very bad idea, and is getting worse by the day. Anyone who understands the nature of government knows in advance these problems are likely to happen. You can be sure Simon Black understood this too, but what does he care? He has his naive paid subscribers. Now watch them slowly get picked off by predators-that-be.
You want liberty? You want freedom? You want to be an individualist? Well, you better start by thinking for yourself, starting with the fact that every government on earth is actually "predators DBA government". Sure, some are slightly worse than others, but why would anyone who values their liberty and privacy go seek protection and privacy from... the predators? Liberty advocates should be collaborating to create and optimize ways to AVOID the predators, not purposely expose and register themselves and endless expensive, time-consuming, obligation-creating fictional entities with the predators.
Simon Black wants to be the next Doug Casey. While Doug Casey is not a perfect role model (see his latest real-estate scam in Argentina for example), Simon Black is no Doug Casey.
Thanks honestann...good words!

"Simon Black is a CIA disinformation agent, and brags about it."
I'm no fan of Black, but can you please provide a link to substantiate this statement? And then forward it to Tyler, so this site will no longer be polluted by his disinformation?
His introduction (presumably written by him) on his website used to brag about his CIA associations, but now that has been removed. Interesting. Clearly this chameleon has decided that identification isn't as useful as his current self descriptions. But I can assure you he used to brag about being CIA. The most I found today in a 5 minute check via google was him admitting he was part of "military intelligence" in an interview with one of the Agora newsletters.
But the guy has CIA or equivalent written all over him in many other ways if you have your eyes open. He brags about rubbing elbows with world leaders and such, which is not something you get to do very often as a lowly website author. Furthermore, everything he advocates gets his readers deeper and deeper into the clutches of more and more governments... even as he claims to protect his readers.
Furthermore, I've had 3 friends who were part of his "inner circle", and have reported he regularly kicks people out and erases their posts for raising even the slightest "inconvenient questions". He advocates openness but practices totalitarian dictatorship within his domain. He hides his real name, which is NOT Simon Black, but makes sure his readers names, addresses and endless personal information are given to as many governments as possible - to get extra passports, to get multiple citizenship, to create fictitious entities in many jurisdictions, etc.
The guy is very bad news. The world is full of self serving bastards, but this guy appears to be much worse than that - he leads his readers into disaster by claiming those paths are salvation. He won't even answer simple innocent questions posed by his "insider clique" after he scams them into joining for hundreds of dollars per year.
I'm sorry the reference is no longer easy to find on the web, but it used to be there along with inferences and innuendo to make it sound more exciting and James-Bondian. He now appears to have a different self-promotion strategy, but what he is doing is the main problem. Being CIA or military intelligence just makes his actions more repulsive... and more understandable.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who recalls his CIA self-promotion.
Welcome to the Hotel California ... such a lovely place.
Other Agencies means mostly THE I.R.S.
Papieren bitte?
From Simon Black of Sovereign Black?
A friend told me of a conversation he once had with an elderly Jewish man that survived the Hitler's attempt to exterminate their race. As he inspected his tatooed number he asked why he waited and did not flee earlier when he saw what was happening. His reply was that he tried, but the boders were closed to those not in "compliance." My friend said that he treated the old man somewhat badly and said, "You mean they would not let you take your wealth and leave, so you chose to be persecuted." The old man said no. He did not care about his wealth, just his children and that none of them could get out. He then left my friend with a warning saying that that will happen here in the US one day, and when it does be ready and leave immediately. By then he said they will already have restricted your wealth and you will have to leave with nothing, just as many have come to the US.
Well guys and gals. Can you sell your homes and take your wealth with you if you choose to leave the US? I suggest that if you have the ability to get a passport from another country that you do it, because you never know who the bureacrats will choose to blame for future happenings. Be ready the time is nigh. The truth is the dollar will be worthless and we will have no wealth to take with us, unless you are keeping gold in silver in a handy place.

One word people. HONEYTRAP. Bitcoins are NOT anonymous. I spent a lot of time analysing the details of this several months ago. If you want to play, don't risk more than play money. This thing is as full of holes as a sieve. I would be surprised if the FBI doesn't have a team working on it 24/7.
And watch if you try to wire money from a US bank to another in a foreign country, they make it difficult. They know the economy in the US is going to hell in a handbasket, and they also know by allowing people to leave easily with their assets make it harder for the US or any country to tax those people. So in essence they are making it where if you do leave without a passport, your a criminal and by that matter they can freeze your accounts and take your money until you can come back and "explain" why you didn't get a passport. We are becoming a third world.
This is a strange story. When you enter Serbia as a tourist you are not required to fill in any customs forms. You'd only need to fill these in if you are importing things over a certain value, just like any other country. Unlike what Black thinks, Kosovo is officially still part of Serbia under UN-1244. The waiting time at the Serbia-Kosovo border is exaggerated. Black wants to paint a 'black' picture of Serbia. I never had any problems entering or exiting Serbia from whatever border crossing.
