Guest Post: Foreclosure Crisis Monthly

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Charles Hugh Smith from Of Two Minds

Though the foreclosure crisis may have faded from the Mainstream Media's coverage, Foreclosure Crisis Monthly continues its lonely battle to keep the banking/mortgage fiasco front and center in the national consciousness.

Hey, did you forget to stop at the rose colored glasses store too? I'll grab you a pair while I'm there. It makes everything pretty.

Back to levels not seen since.... November

Oh regional Indian's picture

I'm completely distracted by silver getting blowtorched. Time to go get some tomorrow. A dip dip dip.

This stuff is funny though, especially the Norweigian town story.

Funny would be if a few shiploads of chinese folks did indeed move in.

Then, it would not be funny at all.

I want my morgage non-transferable. You can't hedge against it either. If you want to sell it then I get to negotiate terms with the new owner and strike a new deal.

ah what. oh, man that was a nice dream.

This "contribution" from CHS is worse than some of the cut and paste blog posts by GW.

What's pathetic is this "parody" is created by someone who insists that everyone involved in the fraudcloser crisis is culpable.  Everyone's to blame...including those that were clearly defrauded based on testimony and depositions.

I can only assume he doesn't bother to do any reading--

The Monster: How a Gang of Predatory Lenders and Wall Street Bankers Fleeced America--and Spawned a Global Crisis [Hardcover]

...or even bother to watch CSPAN--

For crying out loud Tyler, what's next?

Will you start posting recipes from the CHS blog?

CHS I believe is Very aware of the innocent and guilty parties.

Have you read very much of CHS over the last year or two?

Your statement;

....created by someone who insists that everyone involved...

He is not someone who insists that Everyone....

flattrader's picture

Yes, I have read him and he does insist that everyone was to blame because we have become a kelptocracy.

What BS.

>>>So the mortgage applicant lied, and the mortgage broker lied by accepting a document he/she knew was false. And so the lie grew heavier as it passed from hand to hand, and the truth became lighter than air and floated away long before the falsified mortgage was originated, packaged, tranched and sold as a AAA "safe" investment.<<<

The bottom line is many, many mortgage applicants got defrauded.
