Hacker Collective Anonymous To Release Documents Proving Bank Of America Committed Fraud This Monday

Tyler Durden's picture

After Julian Assange crashed and burned in his threat to release documents that expose fraud at Bank of America, many thought he had been only bluffing, and that BofA is actually clean. Not so fast. A member of the hacker collective Anonymous, which singlehandedly destroyed "hacker defense" firm HB Gary, who goes under the handle OperationLeakS "is claiming to be have emails and documents which prove "fraud" was
committed by Bank of America employees, and the group says it'll release
them on Monday" reports Gawker. As to the contents of the possible disclosure: ""He Just
told me he have GMAC emails showing BoA order to mix loan numbers to not
match it's Documents. to foreclose on Americans.. Shame
." If indeed this makes the case against BofA' foreclosure practices stronger, it certainly explains why the banking consortium is scrambling to arrange a settlement, and also why Bank of America recently split off its $2 trillion in mortgages into "good bank" and "bad bank" entities.

As a "teaser", the Anonymous member released a November 1, 2010 email between two Balboa Insurance (a BAC subsidiary) employees, which while not proving any fraud, indicates he/she does indeed have access. The timeline on the email makes sense as it is a few weeks prior to the original disclosure that Wikileaks would expose BofA. Perhaps the Assange team merely handed off its materials to Anonymous, which has previously demonstrated its solidarity with the Australian on various occasions.

The full letter is below.

Gawker with more on why Brian Moynihan may not sleep too soundly overnight:

OperationLeaks, which runs the anti-Bank of America site BankofAmericasuck.com,
says the employee contacted the group to blow the whistle on Bank of
America's shady business practices. "I seen some of the emails… I can
tell you Grade A Fraud in its purest form…" read one tweet. "He Just
told me he have GMAC emails showing BoA order to mix loan numbers to not
match it's Documents.. to foreclose on Americans.. Shame
."

An Anonymous insider told us he believes the leak is real. "From what
I know and have been told, it's legit," he said. "Should be a round of
emails, then some files, possible some more emails to follow that." The
documents should be released Monday on Anonleaks.ch, the same site where Anonymous posted thousands of internal emails from hacked security company HBGary last month. That leak exposed a legally-questionable plot to attack Wikileaks and ultimately led to the resignation of HBGary CEO Aaron Barr.

It is unclear whether this will be yet another climax-free build up, but Anonymous has certainly proven their mettle by putting HBGary effectively out of business with one masterful hack.

Those I've spoken to in Anonymous are convinced there's something to
this. Anonymous has a proven track record with leaks, and Bank of
America has been in their crosshairs since they cut off payments to Wikileaks in December. If it's real, it could be big. Keep your eye on anonleaks.ch: It should hit Monday.

We urge readers to check into http://hbgary.anonleaks.ch/ first thing Monday - after all this is the portal that released the original damning HBGary evidence, and brought down the firm within weeks. If it can do the same with Bank of America, Monday may just soon be a national holiday.

GMAC has been hacked multiple times in the past three years.  All of the hacks have gone unpublished.  Some of the points of entry were fixed quietly by outside vendors, but not all.  Lets just say ... those who contract with GMAC are going to be in some deep shit and will be held responsible for their dealings with the devil soon enough.

I'd like to think its because each federal reserve note that I hold, I always write a message on it and the words "zerohedge"

Depending on the note and my mood, I write things like: "This is fiat currency"  "END THE FED" "HANG BERNANKE FOR TREASON" "KILL THE BANKS" "Prepare for hyper-inflation in 2011" and the list goes on.  It takes a few seconds per bill and I like to make sure the ink really gets in there, so I write over it once or twice to make it bolder.  If every American reader did this with their fiat, we might go a long way toward waking the masses if given enough time.  One problem -- Most  of this site is too advanced for the average joe.

The system is beyond repair.

A simple collapse won't fix the problems because the proteges of these same stooges that brought on this calamity will be right there to have their turn.

I think there may be something to the thinking and momvement of refocusing on local and regional economy (farm production, etc...) I know it sounds hokey, but the system as we know it won't survive.

Why should chairsatan and No-nation be an issue? They are just two actors.

A bank run would be good... Why keep your cash in their with ZIRP?

ZIRP just forces you to stuff the paper under the mattress...

The FED is inflating the money... your dollars are getting less valuable (soon to be worthless)

BEN IS A DICTATOR, he is trying to force you to spend money that you could have saved otherwise. Obama nominated Ben to help him run up the debt.

The question for 2011 is... will it be an Inside Job like last time? Or will they just start sending $10,000 checks in the mail???

Bush went with the former and latter (but rather weak latter). Perhaps this time they will really get it out into the economy!

This is how Hyper-Inflation starts. Ron Paul is in the perfect position when this Big Event  actually happens.

Need More on This, We are totally captured.

Crippling reform, and systematically weakening the economic infastructure of his employer (remind him who!), Mr. Frank apparently had brought in a guest staffer finance lobbyist, whose interests obviously conflict with the intent of the Dodd-Frank, to compose his reform bill. This tragic ass-clown thinks we will consistently underestimate him. He has my respect. As a complicit and corrupt criminal in office.

If Anyonmous posts the information on Monday that undeniably proves fraud upon Americans:

1. Instead of posting on ZH, call and write your Congressional Representative with a copy of evidence of their fraud.

2.  Maybe some of our more visually talented members can come up with a document to be downloaded, copied and put on every B of A branch near them, basically informing sheep their fellow Americans are being defrauded by the very bank they are patronizing. Otherwise, make up your own form.

If you have a criminal record, check your state law regarding penalties defacing private property (even though it can be argued a poster isn't defacing in my State). At worst, it's a misdeameanor in my State, and I'll take the hit, especially if Sen. Scott Brown, Sen. John Kerry and Rep. Niki Tsongas turn a blind eye on this issue, in light of evidence presented.

If fraud is found on BoA's part, then there is little chance in hell they are going to be able to split their company into multiple parts without bankruptcy.  Simply put, I can't fathom how the issue will not go to the core of the corporation (the mothership) and any subsidiary thereof is fair game.  So, from a simple solvency perspective, I can understand a split...  but, from a legal liability perspective, it's likely pissing in the wind.  Too little too late...

Yes.  Bad choice of words.  All I was getting at was that a split off of a "bad bank" does nothing for their legal liability...  the mothership is going to be on the hook...  aside from that, the split occurred after any relevant events.

The fact that Assange has not released this material is not proof that the material does not exist nor that he does not have it.  With the dangers facing him, both legal and illegal (life threatening?), IMO, he would be a fool at this point to release the information without a corresponding neutralization of the danger.  IOW, he may be saving it as a life insurance policy  – “I have made prior arrangements for the information to be released immediately upon my death.”

I hope it will be a smoking gun that can't be ignored that will open the eyes of all of the zombies of this country.  Is that really asking too much?  If not,  I hope they can get some dirt on JP Morgan too!

If the B of A leak is as damaging as it is alleged, it will be officially ignored, characterized as the work of a "rogue" group of employees operating without authorization, and then after a psuedo-public "airing" and phony apology, it will end with a settlement and a fine paid by the B of A shareholders.

The Iowa AG Tom Miller led hell bent freight train to fashion a national deal "settling all these paperwork problems" might be thrown off track for a while as a few natives actually have the audacity to protest a deep, unlubricated rectal probing.   You will soon see who the states AGs' true masters are, and - surprise - it's not the public interest (hardy har har).

As for B of A, the fix is in, and BTFD.

Excellent post, Ned. And Yves Smith of Naked Capitalism has material that for me adds to the weight of the crimes committed and to the crimes white washed.

Now is the time to start piling on the facts – a word here, a word there – until the bankers can’t move any longer and fall from the weight.  Stalin wouldn’t have lasted any time, with Facebook, and the Internet, and Al Jazeera rolling the tape.

Here’s Yves on January 26 regarding Attorney General Miller and his band of 50 AGs: “So get this: so keen is a state attorney general to protect the wallets of big banks that he’s decided there wasn’t much fraud before doing any serious forensics. And his reason was to deny payouts to investors because they are foreign (China, are you taking notes?). But to prevent that outcome, he also has to throw US investors and wronged homeowners under the bus.

“Welcome to equal protection under the law, circa 2011. No wonder gun sales are skyrocketing.”

I'm weeping for the dip shits that took out a 228 at 5X earnings and thought somehow, when rates reset they could pay for it.

Read my lips bitchez, Nanny State...bunch of closet Obama lovers.

With so much dishonesty flooding the news, I wonder if folks have become inured to a "new normal," a kind of learned helplessness. Oddly, the more that gets reported, I wonder if folks are too overwhelmed to know just what to do.
