Hackers Deface Website Of Greek Presidency

Tyler Durden's picture

Update: the webite has now been taken offline

First Citi, next the Senate, now the website of the Greek presidency: the global hacking campaign is getting ever more "effective."

After (now with its own remixed Requiem for a Dream soundtrack):

The caption says:

I woke up! We are strong and many no one can bury us, nobody can take advantage of us, we do not owe them
we want our dreams to reality, we want to live, we want to breathe freely WE WANT THE GREEKS IN GREECE!

I'm popcorned out after 2008. Beer and nachos for me.

Though I do have a hankering for a Gyro from this local Greek grocery that makes a wicked array of Greek foods. Love them stuffed grape leaves too.

Dangit, you've made me hungrier.

More like the mass psyop he engineered with the help of Cass Sunstien utilizing the naive youth bulge's susceptibility to being duped. They're using groups like wikileaks and "anonymous" to direct the little lost sheepies in ways helpful to the Anglo-American empire. Wikileaks attacks Ben Ali, Muburak, Gadaffi, Berlusconi, Putin and others kicking off the "Arab spring" (colour revolutions), "anonymous" decides Iran is too undemocratic for their tastes and stirs up the "green" revolution in Iran.

All this is bad enough without mentioning that these groups are all TOTALLY GAY, come on, Guy Falkes masks really?

Then again she insisted I become an alter boy just when they were switching away from the Latin mass.

The Internet kill switch meme is just a ruse utilized to frighten and polarize. No need for a meat cleaver when a surgeons scalpel will do. And the hackers are the means that will be used to declare surgery is urgently needed.

Brother Cog,

How is your supply of blue pills?  Can you spare a few?  I don't even want to think about the false flag thing, the corrupt government, crony capitalism, pallets of cash suddenly gone missing, Chinese tourists as the new stimulus, food inflation, property deflation, Republican debates, Austrian peaks for sale, Greece [f'n Greece]...

...president Obama, coming tax increases, crocodile algos, US dollar crisis, Ben Bernanke, unemployment, hot Gap colored t-shirts, malls, $4 gas, Fukushima [remember Fukushima?], "buying opportunities"...

...fascism, edible streaming movies, ETF instability, Eurodollar strength [LOL!], Lulu lemon new American vanity queens, DOT f'n COM again, bankers, bankers, bankers.

Do you have a pallet of blue pills you could spare, brother Cog?  I don't want to think about any of it anymore.

Let me know.

It's a good thing that the fate of the entire world's stability today hangs on the notion that increased Chinese tourists in America + _______ = jobs.

That and the fact that Greece will get more phony money right before its political leadership runs for the escape tunnel.

IF there was a HUGE event coming up witch TPTB knew about and closer to the date people would find out about it and total chaos set in , what better way to stop the spread of this news than by shutting the net down , after all they own the media stations , sure the news would still spread but a lot slower so the panic would be more controlled and it would buy them the time they needed until the event happened.

Ruse or no ruse, it matters not, especially that the debate as to such has been engaged, absorption into another Hegelian Dialect, simply another distraction in the Bernaysian Perceptions Management process.

The controls "for your own safety" are coming fast and hard.
Reference the newly itemized one quarter of hackers have been turned for the government (Don't worry it's under control, go watch American Idol.), the Defence Department now formally considers cyber-crime an act of war (Not terrorism folks, full fucking speed ahead war, declared or undeclared, but an act war.  Which a senior government somebody the other day made reference to being as significant as Pearl Harbor, aka, BIG.)  And everyfirm/institution who is anyfirm/institution is getting hacked at ever increasing speed, and surprisingly (Or unsurprisingly depending upon your point of view, but nonetheless irrelevant, for it is what it is, whether the Black Hand of the so called Illuminati or the Invisible Hand of Adam Smith, makes no difference, otherwise welcome to another distraction.) the crimes are being discovered as having been committed, the agents doing so unknown, the threat declared tangible, of an unprecedented magnitude (acts of war) which are being reported by the MSM in hyper-profile space.

Is there really any need of another hint to connect the dot?

The greek government is going to be kicked out eventually, the people just have to get mad enough to doit.

I have family in Greece, many of them in city jobs, they have been working for 6 + months without pay and people just don't want to quit because there is no work overthere, they don't want to quit their jobs and "risk" not getting payed the money that the city/states owe them, its very tragic overthere.

Germany doesn't want to bail out greece, and trust me the REAL PEOPLE of Greece don't want the Bailout, because they know that none of it will trickle down to them so that they can actually pay their bills, Greece is going to default, its inevitable because the Government has sucked the people dry and there probably isn't any paychecks floating around never mind Tax Revenue, they could raise taxes to 150% but no one has any earnings to be taxed anyway so it would be pointless, at this point the Greek government is just a elite class in greece because they are the only ones with income of any kind, (be it Bailouts or not), essentially the Government is corrupted to the core and just a giant scam / fraud with the purpose of spending bailout money/tax payer money on personal expenses/luxury... the government officials overthere are living like kings at the expense of the peoples stomachs being empty.... Crete is having an especially hard time.... no one has work and there simply isn't any money in circulation...

The same thing is happening to America slowly, eventually the IMF will come here and clear us all out too.

This is all interesting. I am ambivalent about the recent hacks. However, the hacks do not seem to really be serving a useful purpose other than the clout they gain from being successful.

If they really wanted to be productive how about releasing information that should have been available through government transparency.

Fact is that just about every 'group' is engaged in hacking, whether it is the government or any other entity.

The downside here is that there is a risk that the internet will become more controlled and regulated like everything else, which is sad and pathetic.

If you own a computer or server, then be responsible and take the time to protect your systems. No system is inpenetrable, but there are more than enough steps you can take to make it very challenging and not worth the time to break into your system.
