There are three stages of a man's life: He believes in Santa Claus, he doesn't believe in Santa Claus, he is Santa Claus. --Author Unknown

There are three stages of a President's political life:  He believes there's WMD, he doesn't believe there's WMD, he is a WMD.--WB7

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years. --Mark Twain

Happy Fathers Day to you!!

I've always WANTED to .. family & work priorities always have seemed to gather the funding.  I remain hopeful as always that resources for such fabulous items for this pensioner may yet arrive.  Here in Memphis I am constantly hearing about bikes for sale.  A tremendous tease

The old man has been gone for years now. I remember these gems 1) stay out of debt, pay cash!    2)If it's too good to be true it is. 3) After pulling out some <1964 US coinage and putting them in a shoe box " you want to keep these, it is real money". The old man was smart!

and if you think you want to buy something, wait three days, and if you still want it then buy it.

never trust a salesman.

during the 70's when interest rates on CD's were double digit he was in heaven, but he still drove all over town, getting the best rates.

I'm enjoying father's day with gratin dauphinois and bubbly shared by my family. Hope you all are as lucky.

BTW, WB7, I find the Bush duo just hilarious. What a "haircut"!

Happy Father's Day!  and for those abandoned, abused and fatherless, I can only hope you become the Father (and Mother) you never had!

The best Dad ever Al Bundy, and the worlds greatest comedian ( After Carlin) Sam Kinison.

Al: I wanna be back with my family.
Angel: Why?
Al: Look at them. They're happy. Not a care in the world. You think I'm gonna let that happen, after all the grief they've put me through? I want to live!
Angel: , are you serious? That means I'm going to be an angel! I'm gonna get my wings! I'm gonna be a real angel! But first, I'm gonna go take a look at my ex-wife.
Al: You really did love her, huh?
Angel: No. I just want to put a package of Ding-Dongs just out of reach of her pork-pie fingers. And then, as she oozes that thousand-pound bulk over to the table, lifts up three of her chins, so she's able to put one of them into her mouth, I'm gonna turn them into me. A 20-year-old rotting corpse! How do you like that, Thelma? Daddy's home for Christmas! You pig! You slut! Take a bite of this, Shamu! AHHHRRRG!

I think he was going for that, should have had some Italian in there. Most folks don't know Il Duce was a socialist at first.

Anyway, love the work-so prolific, William!

Shepard Fairey is the artist of the "infamous" Obama campaign posters.

He copies the imagery directly from the old propaganda posters of the leftists/fascists. It is quite noticeable in side by side comparison to people older than 30 or 40.

Art imitating life or vice versa?...but you're dead on with your Mussolini reference.

Happy Fathers Day Howard, to you and yours.  My best, as always.

Little Lord Blankfien- with the lollypop Guild.  The Spawn from hell.  William you are a special twist; thanks!

I miss my Father.  He was a real man in a world that seems in short supply today.  He worked hard; sacrificed so we could have it easy.  I can not recall any time where he took advantage of anyone and know of many occasions when he made a positive impact on others.  By any account he was a success.  Semper Fi Dad

Happy you missed this!
