Here Comes The Weapons Of Mass Destruction "Get Out Of Peace" Card Again

Tyler Durden's picture

Reuters reports that authorities have
arrested a 20-year-old Saudi national on charges he tried to use a
weapon of mass destruction and potentially targeted former President
George W. Bush, the Justice Department said on Thursday. Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, who was
admitted into the United States in 2008 on a student visa, was arrested
in Texas on Wednesday by FBI agents. He was accused of purchasing
chemicals and equipment to make an improvised explosive device, the
Justice Department said. Last time we weapons of imaginary destruction surfaced, Iraq got bombed back to the stoneage. It is so difficult to see where Obama is going with this...

Does it matter anymore? Mere possession of "bomb making" materials will get you sent away if DHS or BATFE has a hard-on in the circumstances.

TPTB must really believe that the proles are stupid enough to fall for this false flag BS again. But hey, it just might work. In order to effectively establish a military pretext for invasion of Saudi Arabia, just direct everyone's attention to the nationality of many of the 9/11 hijackers. Whip up that blind nationalism and hatred for "those damn Ay-rabs" yet again.

Forced military conscription pending.

Once again it was an average citizen in North Carolina, like the ones treated like criminals by the TSA and get patted down, that stopped this plot. NOT advanced intel.

The TSA types who do the patting down are the ones that gave him the VISA and let him in the country.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt... actually, he was the worst pres in US History... and that is REALLY saying a lot.

The SOB was the Pres when the UNPatriot Act was passed... If he had presided over only the UNPatriot Act he would be the worst ever... but he did lots more stupid stuff...

I read his unapproved biography. It's available on line. If only 10% of the bio is true he should have been a assistant Wal Smart greeter.

I just remember him spouting off about how he was "Going to give away a trillion dollars"

Naturally, how this was to be paid was too difficult for him to grasp. It was the look of magnanimous innocence on his mush that stuck with me.

Have to agree about "worst pres ever" but then, there was that Florida voting business that stank too.

The little swine had a less than distinguished military record - that got hushed up naturally.

I like how Q-daffy gets his quotes out in the MSM - 'Obama is my friend,' 'AQ is stirring up trouble in the East (next to Egypt).'  This English language Al Jazzera spin machine is awesome.  With a little luck the UN will move in peacekeepers to keep the spice flowing and presto another spring board into Arabia.  I am just waiting for the MTV generation to pickup the words of Stalin; "Death solves all problems.  No man, no problem."  (Is this a real quote?) and otherwise start sending in the robots to pacify the region.  At some point someone will figure out its cheaper to burn the cat-box down than to keep fanning the fake diplomatic channels.

Sorry kid, but the government is always evil.  The presence of other "evil" people doesn't make the government "not evil".  Indeed, our government policies have lead DIRECTLY to the creation of all these "evil" "terrorists" that we so desperately need to shed our freedoms to defend against.

I, for one, would happily take my chances with "terrorists" in order to get rid of the TSA.

There is a fourth protocol to the Rumsfeld equation: fabricated known unknowns like WMD that don't exist but were supposed to exist. But couldn't exist in a country run by a donkey called Saddam Hussein. When you saw him scud Israel in 1991 you knew he was a dud. So Rumsfeld did not propose 'kocher' rump steak to his people in 2003. A sleight of hand that led to dirty Abu Ghraib.

Maybe it is a problem of definitions. The guys in San Antonio and Arizona did not have what is traditionally called a mass destruction device but did some real damage. The OK City bomb appeared to be a mass destruction device. The defining point might be the word mass. How many do you kill or injure. But, then there is the type or warfare, a civil usage versus a military usage. Twenty personnel in military is not big, but in civil is big.

DDIMP is a suggestion, Deadly Device Intended for Multiple Personnel. Then you could categorize by the levels of potential lethality, like 1-some, 2- many, or 3 a bunch.

That way if some person is arrested for wanting to kill all of us, we know that is a bad guy. If he only wanted to kill some of us, he is kind of a bad guy. If he only wanted to kill only 5 or 10 of us, then we know he is a simi-bad guy.

You know what scares me, we are starting or have been hearing more and more about WMD's.  Not only from politicians and media pundits, but also from terrorists like this guy making a WMD (or trying to).  As one person said about the guy emailing himself a list of targets (Like he wouldn't know what to hit in the first place) like he would forget, this guy is an idiot or moron and that frightens me.  Because he may have been a sacrificial lamb for the real operation that may happen, and they made sure to say he's from Saudi Arabia.  I think what is happening isn't an attack on Iran, but a reason to put our troops in Saudi Arabia if a WMD attack happens on our soil and the person is from that country.

Instead of launching an attack, we can blunt the Iranians by essentially being right next door to them (and also in control of the Saudi's oil).
